I'm sorry for anyone who was waiting for me. Some real life stuff happened, but for now things seem calm. I'll try to post in my RP's ASAP.

Mind if I have Yue drop into the conversation as a fellow new student? Or is it already a bit too crowded? I'm otherwise up for anyone else for Yue to chat with at Grimm Studies.

Grimm Studies

Waking up at six o'clock sharp Yue got out of bed, tossing a big wrestling belt off her chest, to wash and get ready for school. While it was very early, Yue knew that if she wanted to make sure everyone’s morning starts off well, she needed to be up early and make all the preparations. Yue was now formally part of team KYSS, though with Skyra’s withdrawal from the team m, they were now just Team KYS. Yue tried not to let herself feel down about it and focused on taking care of Krysanthe and Sepia.

After changing into her new school uniform Yue went to make a light breakfast. They had classes today which means that she only needed to keep her team fed until lunch. That being said, a light breakfast can still be a delicious one. She made Egg Benedict for the three of them, toast with jam and butter, and strawberry banana smoothies.

For the Egg Benedict Yue used some back bacon from the pork from before, taking meaty slices and frying them to a nice crisp brown. She also poached the eggs in water flavored with green tea, to give her eggs some pep. Yue pan toasted the muffins which she made from scratch, though it wasn't really anything unique about the them aside from being made fresh. Once all the components were cooked, she drizzled mayonnaise sauce over them, with sprinkles of salt and pepper.

After Yue made the Egg Benedicts she started toasting some bread as well as making the smoothies. She just brought a blender and wanted to see how well it works. It wasn't quite as fancy as the ones Yue grew up with, but as long as it could blend food it will have to do. She made the smoothies with what was left of the yogurt from her last breakfast, some fresh strawberries, one and a half bananas, and skim milk. Chopping up the fruit into smaller pieces she blended everything together.

After some time breakfast was ready. Krysanthe and Sepia should be up by now, and if not, they needed to be! Yue may be willing to treat them to breakfast, but she wasn't going to let them sleep in. Yue needed to practice the firm hand of treating others, so carrying the tray with the food and drinks back to her dorm, Yue made sure to wake everyone up with the smell of breakfast and the sound of her voice.

”Breakfast is ready!”

After breakfast Yue went to class. She was eager to learn and to meet new people. Along the way Yue went through the courtyard, pausing to reflect. It felt like it was only minutes ago when this place was bustling with students eating fish and sushi. Yue was dressed as a luchadora and… And a lot of exciting things happened. Touching her fingers to her lips, Yue’s face grew red when she remembered that chance encounter. A beautiful girl who just… Kissed her. Yue’s first kiss. Yue just kept getting more embarrassed the more she thought about it. Yue had to hurry to class before she did something shameful.

Yue’s next class was Grimm Studies. Her first few classes were fairly contemporary subjects like math or history, but now she'll be truly learning things a Hunter ought to know. She's faced Grimm before, but only under more controlled circumstances while training. She's never faced Grimm in the wilds before, and even her education about Grimm was fairly limited to basic specifies and origins. They weren't the most important things for the perfect maid to need to know. She still felt a little overwhelmed being in a room full of strangers, but she'd have to maintain a strong facade. Even if she had no idea what was going on, the least she could do is chin up and maintain some pride.

Yeah I'm sorry, I'm just getting swamped right now. Just assume that Hibiki and Shizuka went back to the captial because Hibiki thinks Shizuka is under some sort of spell. I'll try to make a proper post when I find the time.
Parum walked with the others to the sight of the battlefield. Before she could get a word in, Brannor had demanded for the hostage's release. However his opponent, Langderosa Cyanwrath, refused on the grounds that it was the only thing protecting him from a swift and immediate end from a volley of arrows. Parum could not disagree with the logic, however it still infuriated her that this half dragon would stoop to such low just for one-on-one combat. Surely he'd recognize that even if they had somehow managed to slay him from afar, his army had the numbers and power to overtake the fort without his leadership. Holding the family hostage was just rubbing salt into the wounds. Still Parum did not speak out, not wanting to compromise this delicate ordeal.

And so the battle commenced. "Defeat him Brannor! We believe in you!" Parum's words would fill Brannor with what meager amount of courage the halfling could provide, but in the end it was not enough. Brannor fought bravely, even tapping into some sort of animalistic feature she's never seen before. She had feelings that Brannor was a warrior of the wilds like Orchid, but she did not imagine that he was one of the beasts. Brannor was some sort of Lycanthrope, perhaps a wolf, or perhaps some other beast. With his back turned and covered in armor, Parum could not do much but watch as he fought and soon fell. Cyanwrath abolished Brannor for his apparent unsportsmanlike tactics, only to kick the man while he was down. This made Parum furious, despite the fact that Cyanwrath could easily kill her with his barehands. This was never going to be a fair duel from the beginning. The half-dragon simply wanted to boast his strength against an enemy who had no chances of fighting back.

At least in the end Cyanwrath honored his end of the bargain and left with his army. Kyra and a few other healers immediately went to Brannor's side while Parum took the family back to the keep. "It's fine now, you're safe. You're safe and sound. Let's get you all back to Sargent Longwater." Parum said to soothe their nerves. No doubt the family was most shocked at the results of the fight. It was their lives on the line after all. Everyone returned to the keep without further incident, and soon they were greeted by Orchid and some of the other leaders of Greenest. "Brannor is alive, Orchid. He was defeated but not killed, thank the gods." Parum noted Kyra standing off to the side cursing to herself. Parum wished she could have done something more. Because once again, all she did was stand to the side and speak a few meaningless words. The feeling of doubt and uselessness overwhelmed Parum, as she too stood in silence for herself.

The battle of Greenest was over. But the war against the forces of evil still continued.
Cool, I can't wait.
While I know no one has interacted with Yue yet, starting on the 22nd to the 31st I'll be busy at my kid's summer camp. I'll only have my cellphone to keep track of what's going on here, and that's only if I could get service at the camp.
@TheWindel@KoL

I want to let you two know that starting on the 22nd to the 31st I may have a difficult time posting, because I'll be away as a guardian for my kid's summer camp. I'll try to post for here and Ashes ASAP.
Unfortunately it'll be from the 22nd to the 31st, so I'll be out longer than Cypher or Norschtalen. I may have certain days where I won't need to go because I know we'll get getting a few extra hands throughout, though I can't guarantee that'll be the case.

Edit: Also since we leveled up, I'm debating what new 1st level spell Parum should get. I'm thinking between Cure Wounds or Healing Word. I don't want to leave all the healing duties solely on Kyra after all.
Cypher you're being an idiot again.

I'm going to work on a post for Parum. I'm going to guess that there's a little bit of dialog for us before we take out long rest @Hekazu?
Dude, they're only five and six years old. I'm not going to just leave them alone. Besides if I don't go than the camp won't have enough volunteers to run all their events without forcing someone to work both the day and night. I only need to attend the night sessions anyways.
