::Personality::
Always smile, keep it professional. Those words are something he was always required to live by, not by choice. Of course, the second part came later into his time, but for the most part when it came to professional, it meant keeping up a certain air for himself. Furthermore, he has gone to cultivate an image of a friendly, polite, and outgoing persona, making Akira appear as a very extroverted individual. Of course, despite this cultivation, that's who he really is, at least from his perspective.
Beyond that, there's also a bit of a mischievous, playful side to him with light teasing thrown into the mix. Regardless, the job has sort of left him isolated, with many feeling he might be out of their league to interact with, thus leaving him feeling lonely, wishing for a genuine connection with another. Still, despite his professional nature, he has been known to be blunt and speak his mind at times, half as an outlet for societal pressure and the other half as a way to show people that there's more to him than just Akira Kamekura, the playful actor.

::History::
Akira has honestly lived a rather monotonous life. The same old either going to school and homework, or starring in some show, movie, voice acting, etc., followed by parents and planning out for his daily schedule. For all his life, Akira Kamekura has been an actor, with his mother acting as his agent whilst his father continued working in the medical field.
To others, in sounded like a dream come true for him with such a coveted position, but to Akira, it ate away at his sanity as time went on. Sure, he enjoyed it early on but as time passed on, there was an increasing self-awareness of the situation he was placed in. While he had an extroverted personality, he found it increasingly difficult to make friends in regular schools as a result of his circumstances. Most people either shied away, formulating positive or negative opinions of him or befriended him on a superficial level.
In truth, he felt alone.
As much as he found enjoyment with his current profession, he also had a growing interest in other fields, namely in psychology. Of course, he was pressured into continuing his usual route of being an actor or a voice for some anime. It was a struggle to even get into that field due to having to balance his school life with his job.
His own social life was a whole bag of worms, though he always did maintain the public image of being a good student, as well as attempting to make friends. Akira was successful, but it was always a struggle since he wanted to grow more alongside them. This was very apparent when he entered High School since now he had to balance out cram school as well. He started to find that he had little time for friends, let alone himself and grew disillusioned with acting.
Much to the surprise of everyone, the actor announced he would be going on a hiatus for a bit and when interviewed on it, he mainly talked about how he had to reevaluate his life and determine what he truly wanted out of it all. Of course, this was a half-truth as he honestly just wanted more time to spend with his friends as well.
Akira's family wasn't hurting for money, but he made sure to finish whatever jobs he had remaining before taking a hiatus for some time off. And for all the time he had to rest, the world wouldn't let him, even after it had ended.
