Who came up with the idea to make our statuses quotes from philosophers, anyway?

We could be doing something productive with our lives... instead, we're here.

A random quote from some philosopher that we'll forget in a few moments.

I've played Borderlands before, can confirm that crazy shit happens in there.
I'm surprised we still have life in here. Good.
One of those mouse cage traps? You know, put some bait at one end and the door closes behind it.
Remember, you mischievous genocidal kids...

Mother Niciel is watching.

Edit: on another note, I realize that I forgot to @mention a buttload of people. Crap.
Spy - Gourd Lake

@Royzooka@Lmpkio

Spy eventually looked away from the sign. It wasn't like there was that much information on it, anyway. Spy still had little idea what country he was in, but it seemed like nothing here was about to kill him, not even the heavily armored super soldier, so that was a plus. Taking a drag of his cigarette, he began to follow Doomguy as they searched for clues. It wasn't a long walk, though it did take a bit of time, but they eventually reached a shack.

This immediately caught Spy's interest. With luck, they could find more clues about their situation, or Spy might even be able to find a phone and contact Ms. Pauling. Spy needed no further encouragement from Doomguy to make his way towards the shack. However, it seems as though there were already others nearby, if the sounds of chatter were anything to go by. "Wait," Spy said as he grabbed Doomguy's shoulder and walked ahead of him. After reaching into a fold in his suit and pulling out his butterfly knife, Spy then activated his Invis-Watch and stealthily made his way towards Candy Cane, Henry, and Denys. Spy had no way of knowing if this group was hostile or not, which is why he was attempting to observe them first. Once he figured that out, he would decide on his next course of action.

Scout - Hyrule Fields

As Scout fired off a few shots at Birdie, a wall of flame shot up between them. Startled, Scout leapt back a step as he exclaimed, "Holy crap!" Scout stared at the flames until they disappeared, then realized that Birdie was no longer around. With the fatass out of the picture, Scout decided to move on from the issue and returned his attention to the girls nearby, and the other only guy around here too while he was at it.

Currently, though, the conversation was getting far too confusing to follow. There was something about Pandora and Endora or whatever, and something about Sirens and magic. What little he did gather from all that, though, was that no one seemed to know where on Earth they were. Scout decided it was time to interject, "Ok, so no one knows anything about this place or each other, great. I'm gettin' outta here, and either of you gorgeous single ladies can come along with handsome ol' Scout here." Scout also pointed to Hildibrand and added, "And, uh, maybe you can come too."
@Vulkan

Belinda is not wearing her suit right now; she's just wearing casual clothes.
I'm actually having a bit of a writer's block because I don't know how to progress from the war with Grot. Due to this, I'm really just waiting on poog for more information about the peace summit and stuff before I continue with my post.

It's his job to infiltrate various countries I would assume based either on a paycheck or the will of the government. Going from "I know when I'm outside my home country" to "I am clearly in another reality" seems like a massive leap.

I don't know much about TF2 but separate maps don't count as alternate worlds for our purposes unless they are literally on a different planet or another dimensional axis.

Alright I edited my post.

And in TF2 lore (and different maps), Spy has been sent even to different worlds on multiple locations. Specifically, to the Underworld, to Hell, and even back in time (Medieval times). All of which were caused, directly or indirectly, by a wizard named Merasmus. So, it wouldn't be that far off for Spy to think that he'd been sent it another world, but considering that this time he wasn't on a mission, it might take a bit longer for him to realize that.
<Snipped quote by Scarifar>

Does Spy have some sort of familiarity with world jumping? Enough that it would be considered a casual event? Cause if not that seems like a massive leap to make given that all you really know is that you've been sent to an unknown location.

Well, he is a spy. Plus, his hometown is France, and he's been to New Zealand and Australia, among other places. It's almost kind of his job to world jump.
