Who came up with the idea to make our statuses quotes from philosophers, anyway?

We could be doing something productive with our lives... instead, we're here.

A random quote from some philosopher that we'll forget in a few moments.

Carnel tried to get some extra sleep, but trying to sleep on a moving vehicle never worked out for him. Besides, even if it did, waking up afterward left him feeling very dehydrated. With a small groan, Carnel rubbed his eyes and got up just in time to notice the commotion. He looked outside the window and found that there was a cyclist outside the bus holding a brick. Before he could figure out what was going on, the cyclist threw the brick, hitting a window and doing some damage to the bus. If Carnel wasn't awake yet, he certainly was now.

The driver pulled the bus to the side to inspect the damage. Meanwhile, Carnel propped himself up from his seat to get a better look. The cyclist sped off while everyone else gathered around to inspect the brick and the impact it made on the bus. "My my, that's not good," Carnel thought out loud as he went over to the site himself. Turning his attention to a girl at the site who seemed especially excited and kept saying "Ohmygosh", Carnel asked, "Is anyone hurt?"
Functionally, what's the difference? It'll all still be on the same page.

I want to believe that, trust me, but it's not always the case. There are times when, between the posts of the Duel itself and the rest of us non-Dueling plebs, the Duel will stretch on to other pages. Not fun, lemme tell you.

But I digress. I will drop the issue.
Playing devil's advocate here, it could be that for Prostagma doesn't want to split apart their posts in between scenes of her character talking and scenes of her character playing a card game. It's totally reasonable that, to take an example out of thin air, she wants to have scenes of her talking to other people, developing her character and interacting with other people during her duel completely on the fly, where a post could be structured as "character talks to opponent, then talks to guy in the audience, then plays a card, then has an inner monologue about her feelings, etc." If she used the system you're suggesting, hiding away anything card game related away to the audience, her example would read like:

"
then talks to guy in the audience,
then has an inner monologue about her feelings, etc."

This would force people to write their posts either entirely about playing card games or about roleplaying, and it would hamper their creativity in trying to blend them together, so i could see why somebody would be against it.

Oh god, no. That would be way too specific, and I don't even know how my idea came to be interpreted as that. I was suggesting the entire post be put in a hider, period, not just duel-specific stuff.
Well, just for clarification, imagine you have some marbles. One would prefer having all your marbles in one jar, rather than having them scattered all across the floor, right? This is what we want you to see. Instead of having 20+ separate posts scattered in the thread, we would prefer a good wall of text to read all at once.

I get that some people don't like having a wall of text, and that is fine, but constantly glossing over entire posts in order to find and read the duel can be just as annoying, if not more so.

At the very least, by putting a post-by-post Duel in hiders, we can immediately tell which posts are referring to the actual duel, and which posts are about the other interactions of the rp. We just want the rp to be organized instead of a huge mess.
I dunno, to me, those "plain, vanilla duels" can, and will, take up a lot of space in the ic if posting back and forth, and may go on at least 2+ pages. Plus, it really gets in the way of others who are not in the duel and are just trying to rp normally. On the other hand, while a collab post does make a huge wall of text, I believe it is a lot MORE efficient to do so than to post back and forth. It doesn't drag on for pages, you can do it in private and come and go at any time, and we can read it all at once without other people's posts getting in the way. As a longtime Yugioh rp'er, I speak from experience.
Hmm.... I recall seeing a post about someone declaring war on the Gods (not Logos, btw), but I can't find it. Do you guys know who it was?
Oh, and be careful about using titanpad, apparently it'll be gone soon.
I wanted to start at the school, but then I kinda just went with the flow.

Besides, dueling with Fuubi would be somewhat of a challenge, as it would really depend on who can draw their key cards first. Plus, he can slip past my defenses, but it would take a while for me to get past his.
<Snipped quote by Kho>

Why the fuck am I being given acid?

Better question is why you're not questioning the rock. :3
Just curious. Is there an equivalent for 'feed' when it comes to drinks?
I.e 'Kho fed Lauder a rock.' What would it be if 'Kho ? Lauder acid.'?

I don't think there's a concrete word for that. I'd say just stick to feed.
