Carnel was gaining quite a bit of valuable intel, and it'd be a shame not to take advantage of this opportunity. Carnel chuckled, amused, as everyone began discussing their decks. He would have to reveal a small amount of information about his deck as well if he was going to remain in the conversation for very long, but he would cross that bridge when he got to it.
"Well, everyone certainly seems to have some interesting decks," Carnel said, maintaining his polite smile. Turning to Aya, he noticed that she seemed to be in a glum mood as she examined her own deck. To liven up her mood, and perhaps gain some more valuable data, he said to her, "You run Kaijus, huh? That's quite a terrifying archetype there." Satisfied at the conversation starter he gave, Carnel now waited to see what she would say in return.

I think what he's trying to say is that people's exams are coming up, including him, and that things might be halted for the time being as Life decides to fuck us in the ass.
@Ammokkx TBH, people probably just filled that in without thinking, regardless of a solar legacy. It's what I did.

@The book of bad juju Eh, if hes dead, rob his grave. Or just find the machines he uses to print the things and print your own. Its really easy to do crime in the yugioh world when either guns don't exist, or are the answer to dealing with world ending cults that try to use a childrens card game on motorcycles to take over the world xD. Especially when you can just own everyone and their 4k lifepoints with a burn deck. xD
But I dunno, it feels like there isn't room for the fun nonsense stuff that is the yugioh anime from what I can tell and that makes me sad.
What are you talking about, guns totally exist in the Yugioh world. They're just either visible or invisible, that's all.
