Bio

My Name is Shadow Daedalus, but I will accept pretty much any diminutive form you can come up with. I am active in the GMT Timezone, and I mention this to help coordinate posting times with others.

I like to RP things with fighting and grit, but chilled out RPs are good too. I'm a little out of practice, so my writing style falls anywhere between Low-Casual and High-Casual.

Wide range of tastes, like Sci-fi, Modern, Fantasy and Historical. This also includes a diverse range of Fandom content, especially Games and Anime.

I don't usually play more that three characters at a time, and I'm more comfortable as a male character, but I might try to expand more in the future, you'll have to wait and see...

Not very interesting, so feel free to ask me questions :D

As the headmistress announced his presence, things quickly turned out how he had predicted, or in so many words; to shit. While some of the girls were accepting of him like the girl in the unique uniform, granting her a small smile and a grateful nod when their eyes met, the majority seems sceptical or suspicious. The girl he had spoken too, Lucy he believed she called herself, exploded in anger again, prompting him to take a half-step back with mote of anger rising to his face, the urge to take her up on her earlier threat of violence beginning to whisper in his ear. He was grateful that the girl with the guitar was standing up for him, but the aggressive girl simply rose in anger.

The intervention of the girl with the short black was appreciated, but Nero was sceptical of its effectiveness and his pride demanded he deal with the rising altercation himself. As she turned on the new arrival, Nero placed his arm between the two, facing in Lucy's direction as he spoke. He could feel his demonic side writhe again, but again suppressed it, the only telltale sign of any reaction being the slightly intensified glow from his purple eyes, like a candle shining through an amethyst gem in either eye.

"If you have any grievances with me, tell me directly. It is irresponsible and immature to behave in such a way that you must direct your anger at those not at fault."

@Jaded
@Parallel Hearts This is pretty similar to the idea I was working on before I gave up

Mine was a Half-Reaper Pawn with a Shy/Ruthless Split Personality. Maybe I should finish it off so we can have some double-split shenanigans...
James Ashe-Hartnet

James wasn't exactly sure what he had walked into, but it didn't take him long to extrapolate the most important facts. He'd left early that morning, taking a day off to check up on his family but close at hand via magical communication should he need be. Just as he was returning to the Cafe, however, he crossed paths with an unusual priest and taken a detour to avoid him. Imagine his surprise as he entered the cafe to see the same priest locked into a stand-off with 4 men wielding ornamental daggers, sacrificial in purpose. Cultists, Most likely.

Suddenly, Action filled the Cafe. James used the sudden movements to his advantage, tapping into the speed of his Knight Piece to strike at the best target of opportunity. Deciding the spell-caster was the most prominent threat, he darted towards the man as he tried desperately to claw the sticky thread from his face. As he ran, he kicked one of the other men and sent him stumbling directly into the path of the Lightning Bolt that Daithi had cast at him, near enough assuring that it would strike him. When he reached the blinded man, he quickly grappled the man, ramming his knee into the man's stomach to wind him before he could free himself from the Jorōgumo's web, causing him to bend over as he gasped for air. Retracting his leg, he quickly transitioned into an Axe kick, the heel of his boot ramming into the man's spine just below the neck and slamming him into the ground before he could recover. Taking advantage of this, James stomped on the tip of the man's dagger, sending it flying, and plucking the blade from the air before grabbing the knife-wielder's arm and twisting it far enough to almost give him a spiral fracture and placing the tip of the stolen dagger to the man's Carotid Artery.

Without looking up, he called out to any of the other Peerage members that could do as he suggested. "Someone secure the priest!"
Yeah, I'm not gonna bother with my Pawn. I'll stick with my Knight.
Still Alive
@vancexentan Please no, My soul has suffered enough
@Grey I'm fine with that
@Grey Fair enough. He's currently in his room, attempting to sleep. Should I amend that, or wait until my next post?
@Jaded Just so you know, the bit where it goes bold, and then italics is his demonic side becoming more prominent, but she can't hear it because it's happening inside his head
Nero was largely unphased by the girl's sudden explosion, aside from a slightly raised eyebrow, but remained quiet until she had finished speaking none the less. He wasn't quite sure as to the validity of the threat, but the pause and the nervousness in her voice were evident enough that he felt somewhat sure she was either bluffing or unconfident in her abilities. Seeing it as the most prudent course of action, he replied in a largely neutral tone, with a slightly friendly tone weaved in as best he could.

"My Name is Nero Aurea. I'm a... special case, So I will be studying here under permission from Su... Mrs. Nakamura. I am not your enemy. And you are?"

He spoke quite softly, attempting his best to diffuse the girls sudden aggression as the demonic side of his heart bucked and growled, seeking to strike at the foolish girl for being so disrespectful. Struggling with his darker half, he reminded himself of his goal. If the girls at the girls at the school were to see him as more than just another Demon, as an ally and possibly even friend, he would have to avoid conflict as much as possible. He hoped that by asking for her name, he could establish some kind of conversation and they could, at the very least, have a more positive impression of each other.
