Bio

My Name is Shadow Daedalus, but I will accept pretty much any diminutive form you can come up with. I am active in the GMT Timezone, and I mention this to help coordinate posting times with others.

I like to RP things with fighting and grit, but chilled out RPs are good too. I'm a little out of practice, so my writing style falls anywhere between Low-Casual and High-Casual.

Wide range of tastes, like Sci-fi, Modern, Fantasy and Historical. This also includes a diverse range of Fandom content, especially Games and Anime.

I don't usually play more that three characters at a time, and I'm more comfortable as a male character, but I might try to expand more in the future, you'll have to wait and see...

Not very interesting, so feel free to ask me questions :D

@Agent 47 He probably does, but his dragon form looks different enough that it doesn't match his normal appearance
I thought this had already died off, and I think most people have probably jumped ship

I could probably do with a better name, but none come to mind
@Reflection I was thinking swords and muskets anyway, maybe firearms if it's more modern
You still looking for people? I've got an idea I'd like to try if you're cool with it. It's basically a cross between Incursio and Lionelle.
Using Tyrant's Heart as a catalyst, it grants superior physical abilities, senses and armour, as well as the Tyrant's evolutionary abilities, but at the expense of less armour and more difficulty controlling it.

I'll probably call it something like Tyrant's Heart: Fafnir, with a supplementary weapon called Balmung or Gramr
This seems interesting, might have an idea for a hero that can create/summon weapons
Now that the servers aren't playing up, we can try getting back into this

What I can tell about the prisoner's song choice is that:

He hates the non-human DNA inside of him because of the prejudice it could bring, demonising it as monstrous and desperate to be accepted by the ones that would discriminate him or view him as 'unworthy' of their version of salvation or paradise.

He is very determined to go against 'the world' (AKA the world that accepts and respects non-humans), despite feeling powerless in the face of the opposition. This likely sparked a need to gain power by joining with those of similar mindsets, like the City of Claus.

My character, given his experiences, would likely know/ be able to infer this much but, given that he's not a trained psychologist, anything more detailed would probably be out of reach for him.

Standing in the Sith Lord's shadow, Khyrr found it harder to breathe than he had before. This was probably pretty normal for someone under the scrutiny of the most feared and second-most powerful man in the Galactic Empire, but it was still pretty unnerving. His focus was solely on the figure standing before him, offering Khyrr his own life in exchange for those of countless men and women fighting simply for freedom. He barely even flinched at the chorus of blasterfire, his heart too loud in his ears. It came down to a simply choice: Die here, accomplishing nothing or Live on, a durasteel leash around his neck as Vader's secret Attack dog. A singular, metallic voice whispered in his ear, breaking his stupor.

"Directive: This unit is directed to ensure the survival of its direct superior at all costs, no matter what actions it must undertake to do so. Suggestion: Take the deal, Sir. I can calculate a 1 to 98 trillion chance of survival otherwise."

His head turned sharply to HK before he closed his eyes and gave a small nod. A silent string of unspoken curses in his head, Khyrr turned back to Vader just as he began to count down, cutting in just before his count ran out. He forced down the feeling of suffocating despair he could feel encroaching as the words began to fall from his mouth and Ignored the looks of rage, sorrow and betrayal from the rebels around him. As tall-dark-and-scary had said, he wasn't fighting for an ideal, he was fighting for a paycheck, a means to survive. And saying no to the man holding you at gunpoint was certainly not a decision would likely survive.

"Fine, I'll do it. Not like I'll walk away alive if I don't. Just don't expect any of that 'Lord Vader' crap, and I'll need my ship repaired. Anything else'll be shot down the moment I enter a rebel system."

Having rested for a while, Ryuu's Aura had recovered enough to begin working on the stitched wound marring his side by the time the job request had come through. It wasn't enough for him to utilise his Semblance as he pleased, but it was good enough that he wouldn't have to worry about it by the time he arrived at the mission location. Using the supplies he had brought with him, he filled the 4 Dust reserves on Ryujin with Burn, Lightning, Freeze and Earth, moving the Gravity Dust to top up the reserve tank responsible for powering his quick-draw technique.

His weapon adequately re-filled, he slipped a number of uncut Dust Crystals into a pouch on his left hip, Catalysts for his Semblance should he need them, and slipped out of the Inn room he had been staying at. He stopped briefly to collected his washed and repaired robes from the Innkeeper's daughter, who had offered to clean and stitch them while he rested, before heading out towards the centre of the village. As he walked, he noticed that the blacksmith's shop was still quite busy and inadvertently drifted closer in time to overhear one of the gathered patrons, a Huntress with a robust physical build, introduce herself. The blue girl from before spoke up, and the Mistralese took the opportunity to move closer to the group. Once she had finished speaking, he waited a second before introducing himself with a slight bow.

"Room for a lone swordsman? Ironiji Ryuu, Beacon Academy."
