Just as she joined the group, one of the men left. Apparently, he had to get to work, where he was a hairdresser or something similar. Fine with her. "Goodbye, then."

She turned to the others, realizing that she hadn't introduced herself. "I'm Claire O'Malley. It's a pleasure to meet both of you." Obviously, she wasn't going to reveal the fact that she was a summoner, especially in this climate. No need to tempt anyone into getting the torches and pitchforks out.
Ah, the bell. Loved by some, including young Sakura Kawamura. The young art mage was packing her books up and rushing out the door, eager to begin looking for inspiration for her next masterpiece. She went outside, scanning the well-manicured grounds. Eventually, she found it: an old oak tree, its leaves glowing in the late afternoon sunlight. She took out her pencils and started drawing, completely oblivious to anyone who might be coming up on her.
Name: Sakura Kawamura
Age: 14
Female
Human
tse1.mm.bing.net/th?&id=OIP.Ma3782d602..
Personality: Sakura is about as hyper a girl as you could ever meet. Energetic and bubbly, she loves meeting new people and learning more about magic. The only time that she really slows down is when she's working on her art.
Abilities: Sakura's magic all relies on her art, whether it's drawing, painting, or sculpture. She can bring her works to life, pull objects out of them, even enter the worlds she creates on paper and canvas. However, it is worth noting that the more detailed and realistic the work is, the easier it is for her to use her magic. She needs a fair bit of time to create something really high-quality- speed art isn't her thing.
Skills: Sakura is an excellent chef, doing a lot of the cooking while her parents work.
Bio: Sakura grew up a middle-class child in rural Hokkaido. For her, art was a way to relax, and she'd often go down to a local park to sketch. One windy day, she was working on a drawing of tree when she noticed something shocking: the leaves on her drawing were moving around, almost as if they were real! She immediately starting experimenting to see what she could do, and found that she could take the objects she drew off the paper and into reality. Her powers worked similarly with other media as well. Two months ago, she managed to create a painting of a river so detailed that she was able to physically enter the painting, like a portal. She immediately went back into the normal world, however, and hasn't been able to recreate the feat. In any case, an acceptance letter from Ishikawa was a virtual guarantee.
Any room for one more?
Oh, great. "I-I don't really know what happened. I was aboard the Red Shark as a Seaspeaker when we were attacked and I was thrown overboard. I woke up here, and answered a call on a board for mages. I had no idea that it would lead to this." Brigid shook her head, trying to clear it of bad memories. "I'm sorry, I didn't introduce myself. Brigid Grigsholm, at your service, Mr. Pax."

Nope, nothing on her phone. Things seemed to be glacially slow today. Ironic, given the storm coming in. She finished her pastry, but there was nothing to do right now. She really didn't want to go home and unload her car yet.

She saw three people having a chat and decided to join them. Find an empty seat, she asked, "Is this seat taken, or can I join you for a little bit?"
With her letter in hand, Brigid walked into the back room. There wasn't much to go on, no maps or documents. Nothing to do but sit and wait for instructions.

Another human was already there, giving wary glances around the whole place. "It seems we're going to be working together on this little mission. How did they get you roped in?"

"Okay, then. I'll be back in a little while." Claire hopped in her car (A beat-up old Ford Fiesta with three wheels in the grave and the fourth on a banana peel), and headed off to the store.

As she headed back, foodstuffs in tow, she passed by The Early Bean. There wasn't anything that needed to be refrigerated right away, so she decided to stop in for a little bit, have a quick bite. The blueberry scones looked quite good, so she ordered two of those. She sat back, taking a few minutes to check her phone.

"Good to see you're awake, Katie." The young witch got around to whipping up a couple of omelettes. Red peppers, sausage, and cheese for herself, while the others could call in whatever they liked. "Take it you saw the news today. This whole Unseelie business trying to bully everyone into submission isn't going to work. The naturals are already pushing back, as Nick found out. We've had our first Other murder, and there's going to be a whole lot more blood on both sides before everyone comes to their senses."

She shrugged. "What we really need is a chance for passions to cool. Unfortunately, that's not going to happen." A deep sigh escaped her lips. "I'll be heading out to the store this morning. Anything you guys want me to pick up?"

The alarm clock went off, way too soon as always. Claire slipped out of bed, grumbling as she slapped the alarm clock into submission. She got herself dressed, picking out a very conservative dark blue dress for today. Her class was starting the dissections today, but thankfully, they had switched over to virtual ones, making life much easier.

The young witch flipped on the telly just in time to see that the Unseelie were throwing a blizzard at London. "Great thinking, guys. Make them stop fearing and hating us by paralyzing the largest city in the country." Worse yet, the schools were closed. Another day without a paycheck.

She stopped grousing as she saw Andrew. Her fellow member of the Circle had given her an evil look as soon as she'd said she was a summoner, but despite that, they'd managed to get through the days without strangling each other. "Morning, Andrew. Care for some eggs today?" Katie appeared to still be asleep. Lucky girl.
