@Abefroeman At moment we don't have one. But we will have one soon enough! :D
@ZAVAZggg Alright after much thinking over, I've decided to OK this idea :)

@AdorableSaucer Yup, still got plenty of room!

@Hyperdrive Good to see you join in!
@ZAVAZggg Hmm, might be a bit iffy on the idea. What more can you share?
@Andreyich Sounds good with me.
@ZAVAZggg Psionics are also a thing if a bit "limited". Think Telekinesis, limited mind-reading and such.

Edit: By the present time, the Xenos have been pretty much "uplifted" in a sense by humanity's arrival. Once communication was set up, the xenos that could, had reverse-engineered human tech to give themselves a technological boost. They're capable of using the above.
@CleanBreeze By small-scale I mean the scale of the setting. Normally an NRP set in a galaxy always has that problem of the setting itself being far too large when player nations would be quite small compared to the galaxy as a whole. The Eden Cluster however is like a micro galaxy, made up of several dozen star systems, giving more meaning to worlds and systems when nations squabble and fight over them, resources being less infinite and more precious and such.
Well I can safely say that we can get this started :D I'll be making the OOC thread very soon.
@ZAVAZggg Shields and Energy Weapons are a-ok with me :) And of course there's the standard kinetic weapons thrown in the mix as well. Adds on to the grittyness of the setting.

Edit: @Darkspleen Woo!
@ZAVAZggg Regarding the dwarf star, yeah it just was happanstance, an unfortunate 180 in life.

As for technology, yes there are some limits. For example of course, FTL-capable ships haven't been developed, Jump Gates being the primary means of traveling between star systems. Nothing else comes to mind for now, but I'll let you guys know when something isn't kosher to the setting.

Also to note to explain why Jump Gates are a thing now despite alien civilizations being established, they were all too primitive to leave beyond their homeworlds or systmes before the humans arrived.

Edit: And yes, proper aliens :D
By the way, @Crispy Octopus takes credit for the revision :)
