"There's nothing distrustful about bits of cloth. I'm more interested in what kind of habits he's picked up, and any strange things he's learned."

Grek studied the strange new Kobold for a little while.

"Don't you ever get hot wearing all that cloth? And surface dwellers don't even have caves, they have houses with windows and fireplaces! How are you supposed to stay cool out there dressed like that? It's just not sensible."
Grek flinched a little from Arjun's little pyrotechnics display. He was not keen on getting threatened, but conversation resumed, again focused on the strange returning Kobold.

Grek crossed his arms. "I'm not sure half the tribe would appreciate it, honestly. Religion...Nothing but trouble if you ask me. Look at him, prattling on. I'm listening to what he's saying, but even if none of us were, I don't think he'd notice. He'd just carry on..."
Yup, I'm ready to rumble
I'm Blanc
Heidi was sitting at her desk at the edge of the classroom. In front of her was her notebook, it's contents a detailed itinerary of the next seven days, from her morning workout and laps around the building, to breakfast (the exact minutes she started and finished carefully calculated), and all of her classes. She had chosen to do drama this year because she was beginning to bore of the math-based subjects she had recently acquired Doctorates in.

In truth, she found Drama painfully easy. All of her assignments were done in one sitting whenever she wanted to unwind with a good book, and she mainly just used the class time for other things, like planning her week out, designing her next robotics-based project, or sometimes just relaxing.

However, as she was just starting to get into a nice lull, her brain registered that her teacher was about to punish a fellow in-class relaxer. This made her aware of her position and she tried to make it look like she was paying as much attention as she actually was. Appearances were important, after all.

There was a new kid being introduced. She looked at him long enough to remember his face and link it with the name 'Peter', and then carried on daydreaming. Another person not to talk to...
It's not letting me join without registering
I either want AQL, or Blanc. I haven't made up my mind yet.
I can play any canon character you want, or an OC if you prefer. I'm completely flexible.
I'm interested!
Name: Heidi Williams

Alias: Prodigy

Position: Post-Doctorate level of education

Abilities/powers: Heidi possesses an incredibly hyper-intelligent mind, which gives her a perfect photographic memory and the ability to think and react far faster than a human should be capable of. She can often accurately process every possible outcome of a theoretical scenario using her knowledge of psychology (how a human or animal may act) and physics (how an object may act) to, in a sense, predict the immediate future.

The downside to this is that all her senses are in overdrive 24/7, and she can overthink the most basic of social interactions to the point where she copes by drowning her audio-visual senses with music and books, and by and large avoids social contact except when necessary.

Sex: Female

Age/Date of Birth: 15, 8/4/1984

General appearance:

Additional Appearance/costume: Prodigy's costume is simply a customised jumpsuit, altered to her measurements and dyed with turquoise and gold diagonal stripes. Om her right hand is a gauntlet that utilises similar technology to Tony Stark's Iron Man suit. Her own invention, of course.

Personality: Heidi is shy, reclusive and incredibly timid, but not unfriendly. Due to both her past, and the nature of her mutation, she is incredibly conscious of what other people think of her, both as a result of her direct actions during interactions, or just her reputation in general.

Heidi was raised to believe in mutant registration, a stance which she thoroughly believes in and defends to this day as the best path for everybody. She is also a believer that both body and mind should be used at their full potential, so will quietly judge people who slack off or abuse their bodies.

Special Skills: Heidi has Doctorates in physics, maths, psychology and electrical engineering, but her area of particular expertise is robotics. She also studies mixed martial arts, self defence, usage of firearms and runs as a hobby in order to keep her body in good condition should the need to run arise.

Place of birth: Edinburgh, Scotland

Weapon(s) of choice: Only her brain

Medical information: Hypersensitivity, social anxiety

Brief History: Heidi was brought up in a family who strongly believed in mutant registration, a view which she shared and still does to this day, but when her mutations began to manifest, her family and those in their circle suddenly branded her as dangerous and shunned her whole family. She was constantly aware that she was resented as long as she stayed there.

So she travelled to America. Unlike others who shared her views, she thought Xavier's school was a wonderful institute and was not some threat to the world. In fact, she believed that mutant registration, followed by a worldwide drive to make more schools like Xavier's, that taught young mutants how to control and accept their powers, was the future. Unfortunately she could find no allies with this philosophy. Any other pro-reg crowds either shunned her for being a mutant, or being sympathetic to untrained mutants who could accidentally cause death or destruction, whereas any other independent crowds of mutants shunned her for her pro-reg views, or her age, as all of this occurred before her 12th birthday.

She was eventually found and contacted by Xavier's school itself, and finally found a place she wasn't shunned.

Relatives: Her disgraced scottish pro-reg parents, though the X-men are her only family now.
