Maeda Hitomi

"Sure," Hitomi replied, smiling at nodding at Tomoe. "Let's head back to the room. If they are planning anything, there's not much I can do right now. I'll always be able to step in later, when there's more concrete evidence to use. But for now, let's go back and chill."

As the two were making their way back to the room, with Hitomi draping one arm over Tomoe's shoulder like a big sister, Action landed in front of them in a striking, bad-ass pose. Tomoe would notice Hitomi blushing a little and muttering "He's so cool..." to herself. Oh dear. She's got it bad.

"Well," replied Hitomi, impressively keeping her cool in regards to outward appearence, "There's a little sort of competition to determine the fate of an idea called 'The Komei Collective'. It's basically like a practice agency, with students from all the different classes playing the roles that they'd be likely to play in a real agency when they graduate. It's a fantastic idea in theory, but...I'm worried that the class 1B clique are going to try and use it as a power grab and I don't want this idea to become a political tactic. Enough about that. What have you been up to?"

Mako Akane

Mako began to listen to Jean's story with interest. This was her first glimpses into who this man actually was, that she'd ever heard before. When he mentioned that he got married, she started to feel a new, strong surge of regret that she ran away all those years ago, but that feeling dulled when Jean didn't go into detail about what happened next. He didn't have to. As she read his eyes and his mannerisms, his silence told her all she needed to know. She did want to know what his connection to Miss Beaumont was, but she wasn't going to pry. He hadn't gone into detail for a reason. Now that she knew a bit more, she wanted to swing it back around to flirting. She was much more comfortable being coy than she was being honest and open. Not that she had any qualms about spilling her guts, but the more Jean did not, the more curious she became, and it was rather torturous.

"You know, I'd like to have kids one day. But I'm thirty-eight," Mako sighed with a sly smile. "The clock's ticking."

Mako's buzzer chose this perfectly ironic moment to then start going off, causaing Mako to stiffen, blush and visibly die inside. "Ah...that's my time up. I need to head back to the Academy now..."

I'm going through a slow phase as I start college soon, but I don't think any of the people who haven't posted are waiting for me.

Molly was still ogling the hall like a fangirl when a red-haired woman emerged and she quickly snapped out of it and tried to look chill. This wasn't a fellow teen. This was a woman. Early to mid 20's at an estimate. Holly suddenly became worried about the possibility that even though she was much older now, she was going to be the baby of the group all over again. Just great...at least people treat 17 year olds a lot more seriously than 12 year olds. Maybe? Hopefully. Despite this, she smiled and nodded at this woman, before the elevator opened and a girl who's age seemed a little closer to Molly's emerged, explained that she needed to go dump her bags and left again.

"Makes sense, makes sense," Molly replied to Kate, even though Kate was long gone and Molly was essentially talking to herself. She turned back to the redhead, approached her and offered her hand. "What's up? My name's Molly Hayes. I have super strength. Look forward to working with you."

The other girl came back shortly afterward, and introduced herself, offering her own hand for Molly to shake. Molly put down her three heavy-looking suitcases before shaking her hand, and Kate would notice that her glowing violet eyes turned to an ordinary-looking green and stopped glowing when she did this. "Sorry. Super strength. Can't be too careful. I'm Molly. Hi! There's no furniture in the rooms, you say? You mean, like a hostel?" The tall girl looked a little dejected and downcast at this. "Man, I just came from a hostel!"

That's when another boy approached them, voicing similar concerns about the lack of furniture that had been reported, an introduced himself as Reece. As Molly shook his hand, she muttered "I'm not gonna remember all these names..." before introcusing herself out loud as "Molly. Molly Hayes." She didn't notice Miles enter the building behind her. Or maybe she did but subconsciously wanted a break from all the handshaking and barrage of new names to remember.

The difference between a good casual post and a good advanced post is that 99% of the time in casual, even if a post is otherwise faultless and contains a very well realised character, it won't develop anything in any way. It'll be a static snapshot of what this character is thinking, feeling, and doing at this exact moment. The character at the end of the post will be identical to the character at the start of the post. And there's nothing wrong with this in casual.

You don't need to worry about her not standing up in combat scenes. That's what the exoskeleton under her suit is for.

Molly woke up, laying on her hostel bed. It was strange not following her usual school routine, but today was the day it was beginning. Her attempts to become a full-fledged solo Superhero had attracted the attention of the Avengers, and mere days ago, they had contacted her. She was...not quite going to be a full-fledged Avenger, but become part of a younger, more inexperienced team. Like, a sort of 'Young Avengers'. It was going to be nice to be part of a team again, and this one, a team of actual, dedicated crime-fighting costumed Superheroes. The real deal! Not that she didn't like being in the Runaways but those her her friends, and that was her gang. This, however, was her dream job. Not quite the same thing.

After getting up, getting showered, and getting dressed, Molly called a cab, and had them take her to about twenty minutes walk from the Complex. She wasn't sure how discreet she should be but it didn't hurt to play it safe. After running the rest of the way carrying three large suitcases containing everything she owned slung casually over her shoulder like they collectively weighed nothing, she reached the front doors, and used her keycard to get in. The doors were huge! As was the foyer! Molly stood in total awe, gazing at every corner at the room she had entered. She hadn't been anywhere this big or expensive looking in four years. Man....Superheroes were awesome.

I was in a really fun arena rp with Liliya that I didn't mind losing. I'd like another detailed, character-driven arena rp like that. The tournament threw me off because it was just playing to win and that's no fun.

I might try an arena rp again if it was like my first.
