I actually find the space-racism kinda funny, and it leaves room for character development as Kara gets used to our "primitive" ways.
That and we get the fun experience of explaining how things work on Earth; like how our cars are powered by liquified fossils and how cheese is actually just mouldy milk.

Kid Question walks in on Young Rookie changing Batbaby's diaper, while Green Lantertot hangs off his chest in a baby-harness wailing like it's the end of days and Supertoddler is on his shoulders, banging his fists on the back of the denim-clad boy's skull demanding candy.
With a look that blends exhaustion with pure contempt for the whole of the universe, he says only one thing to the faceless child;
"We will never speak of this again."
