I refuse to own a Glock purely out of spite. I'm sick of seeing them and hearing about them.

Not sure what you were expecting, but there's nothing to see here.

When they were called to action Devrin had to abandon his breakfast and ran to retrieve his weapon. His comrades were already working on repelling the remobra menace when he saw Luna get hit and call for an antidote. He rushed across the deck toward Luna, unsheathing his charge blade as he did so. When he reached her he lifted his shield over them to protect them from further attacks and handed her an antidote.

"We're off to a great start," he remarked.

Swiper was quite pleased with himself for successfully getting his hands on the eggs. Then the rumbling started. Something, or some things, were heading this way. Surely the Rathian would be awoken by all the noise. He needed to go.

Not wanting to abandon his prize, Swiper began doing his best to climb back down the slope without dropping the egg.
Possible interest.
Sounds interesting to me.

What character are you looking for a partner to play as exactly?
As the island got ever closer, Devrin figured he should take care of his grumbling stomach before they got there. He headed down to the galley and noticed that he wasn't the only one with that idea. He decided it would be best to not sit at the same table with Sunshine. The chef seemed to be talking with one of the other hunters and his palico, so he helped himself to some soup so as to not disturb him. Devrin then went and found an unoccupied table to sit at so he could eat in peace.

Swiper's first instinct upon seeing the pink rathian was fear, but this was soon replaced by relief when he saw it was sleeping. He circled the flying wyvern a few times trying to figure out the easiest way to get one of those eggs out from under there. Perhaps if he reached in very gently between her tail and her feet he could get one. He would just have to be really careful like.

Devrin was completed unfazed by Luna's threat. In fact, it actually made him smirk a bit. Push him off the boat? He was about three inches taller and undoubtedly much heavier. There was no way she could move him anywhere he didn't want to go. She was going to be a fun one, as from this point on he was going to be referring to her as 'sunshine' for the sole purpose of getting under her skin.

With their destination decided Devrin walked to the front of the ship and simply watched the island approach. He kept his eye out for any sort of monsters or wildlife as if hoping for some kind of sneak peak before the actually made it to shore. An entire island of opportunity lay before him, and he wasn't going to let it go to waste.

Swiper weighed his options. He had gotten meals from Apceros before, but he had also almost lost his head from one of their tales. This small waterfall, however, seemed promising. An elevated location with its own supply of fresh water would be an excellent place for a nest. Not only that, but it would also be a highly contested location, so whatever would have made its nest up there would undoubtedly have to be big. Big monsters laid big eggs. Big eggs meant very full belly. He could be set for the entire day from just one meal.

Putting his claws to use, Swiper began making his way to the top of the slope hoping for something big and tasty to be waiting for him.
@VitaVitaAR

Is it too late for me to get in on this?

Also, what's the policy on magical/enchanted items?
"I agree with the little ray of sunshine," Devrin said jerking his head over in Luna's direction. If she wanted to be snarky, then he would be sarcastic. "It's as good a plan as any."

This was definitely an interesting group they had going. As far as first impressions were concerned, he was already annoyed by Jun and Luna seemed to only be pretty on the outside. Tyrin seemed alright so far, but only time would tell.

Swiper mulled over his options. As much as he liked shiny things, his grumbling stomach came first. The caves would probably be a safer bet, then again with those diablos rampaging all over the place there's no telling what all could be holed up in those caves to avoid the conflicted. He decided to brave the swamp. While the swamp contained its own many dangers, he doubted it could be anything as terrifying as a diablos.
Bastian Felstead

Bastian's snowy homeland had made him rather accustomed to the cold, but as he tried again and again to get even one measly spark to catch on the leaves the icy wind was becoming too much for even him to handle. He could feel his hands begin to sting from the cold as he tried in vane to produce even so much as a small flame. Then, everything went still. Leaves drifted to the ground around them as the wolfborn finally became visible. It was just as he had thought. There were far too many for them to handle, so what were they waiting for?

A solitary red leaf slowly drifted to the ground in front of him. As soon as it finished its descent, the wolfborn began surging forward. Bastian's eyes widened in panic and he began vigorously scraping the fling and steel together praying to whatever god that would listen that just one spark out of a hundred would catch. His prayers were soon answered when a single spark landed on a leaf, glowed for half a second, and then produced a small flame. This small flame quickly grew, however, as it devoured the dry leaves that coated the ground. Bastian had to move back a bit, but his plan had worked. The wolfborn had no interest of nearing the blaze. He had bought them at least a bit more time.

As they hid behind the flames, Col said something about following him to a glowing rock. Bastian turned and only then noticed Marque sitting over by this glowing rock that Col had spoken of. There was no doubt in his mind now. Magic was definitely at play here. Bastian knew of the existence of magic, but it was never something he would bet his life on. There was, however, a first time for everything. Not to mention their options were very, very limited.

As Bastian followed close behind Col on their way over to Marque and his rock, Bastian offered a response to Col's second statement.

"I'll take my chances with the burns. Burns I can cure. I have yet to reattach a limb."
