I wonder if stubbing your toe is the real life equivalent of rolling a natural 1 on dexterity?

“Making fire rain down in a class wasn’t exactly the result I was hoping to achieve this morning.” Allen answered, cracking a smile on Luna’s lips. She nodded in agreement to herself, as she grabbed another peanut. The conversations went on, and Xinhua called forth a thunderous weather as she left. The Mess Hall was as panicked as it had been since the initial brawls had broken out. Luna was rather cautious herself, keeping a wary eye on potential unpleasant lightning strikes. No one seemed to get hurt luckily, as Xinhua took her leave. Viola went on to approach Meruin, wanting to make a contract with the girl. Viola and her contracts were … special, certainly. It was something Luna had managed to stay out of, for the good reason of worrying about the fine print.

“Viola, I hope you’re not intending on summoning anything that’ll want to cause a shamble in our room, no? Or mess up my notes for that matter. It would be most distressing.” Luna’s British accent shun through, as she smirked at Viola with a playful grin. She had never been fond of dueling herself, mostly due to the fact that Chronomancy was difficult to fight with, if you did not have intentions of mortally wounding, or killing the person. It was very much possible. Luna’s teacher, Eleanor McKinly, had handed her several papers, which discussed the issue. She had read about one Mathieu Chéreau whom had perfected the art. Both wonderful and terrible stories of what he had managed to do. He had once conjured a bolt of chronomatic energy, which had simply hit its target, and forced their age a hundred years forward in time, making them a sad piece of rotten meat on the spot. It had brought shivers when Luna first read it, but it was impressive nonetheless. One just had to get creative.

Lee was on the way to chase down Xinhua, but stopped for a hug for the newly returned Viktor. "Don't go disappearing again. You need to be the voice of reason in this group." Luna could not help but grin at that, waving towards Lee with a smile as she took her leave. While she considered herself a fairly reasonable person, she could not disagree with Lee. While the situation had dulled down – somewhat at least – it never was bad to be cautious of another similar outburst. Life at the University never was dull, far from it, actually.

Luna tip-toed for a few seconds, before she nodded to herself. “Nonetheless, I’ll get some fresh air. Got a little heated in here, afterall.” Luna giggled gently, shaking her head briefly. “Oh, feel free to tag along! Company is always good.” Luna smiled towards each individual in the group, before she turned on her heels and strolled outside. Once there she dusted her dress off again, and promptly made sure her hair had not become messy during the thunder. She took a seat on a bench outside, pulling out a small notebook. Within it was notes and sketches, of everything between heaven and earth.

On that note, I'll get writing :]

Luna had casually offered the lollipop to Viola back at the dorm, though the disposal of Karen’s lollipop seemed to grab her attention. Just so, Luna did not react much upon the request of Karen, when she discreetly asked to sit somewhere else than next to Meruin. That girl was… despised by the majority of the students, to say it mildly. Whether it was because of jealousy of her, or due to her personality, Luna had not figured out. Perhaps it was a mix of both. Perhaps. She was not about to pretend to be innocent herself. Luna was not about to share a bag of her best tea with Meruin, at least not with that moody attitude of hers. The two briefly shared a gaze, Luna simply wrinkling her nose.

The mess hall was a welcomed sight. The small sigil on Luna’s arm finally halted its golden glow, as they arrived on their location. There was so many new students, and while the group seemed to head off to somewhere specific, Luna’s attention was caught by food. Without a word she wandered off, on the brink of getting lost in this absolutely magnificent sea of glorious and spectacular food. And that was not even considered overestimating in her own opinion. Nonetheless, she barely managed to grab a bag of peanuts before a donnybrook was on the brink of breaking out. Naturally, she did not want to miss a thing.

As she reached the gathered mob, the topic quickly became clear. Meruin and Xinhua was going off about the topic of a clash of titans; an Archtype against the Dragon God. Luna shrugged to herself, considering the scenario quite the sight, as she passively ate away at her peanuts. Her gaze quickly went to the little Karen, who seemed to stand there with a look of guilt. Perhaps she had sparked the conversation. Luna could not help but smile lightly at that. Poor Karen, who did her best not to get on anyone’s bad side. And just as it seemed Xinhua and Meruin was about to create another dimension in anger, a few individuals stepped up. Well, after the idea of a duel was brought up. Both Viola, Lee, Viktor and the newly arrived Allen Strauss came to calm the situation. As was most likely the for the best, entertaining as it might have been.

Allen Strauss was quite the man. Around the campus he had gained the attention of admiring girls, and boys. Some simply enjoyed watching his failing (and sometimes successful) experiments, and some girls had fallen into an endless pit of admiration and love for the silver-colored man. He came off as arrogant to some, but as it was with most people, one simply needed to spend time with the individual to discover their true nature. Luna herself had had a few encounters with him over the years, and she would be a liar if she claimed she had never cracked a smile at the sound of explosions in the distance. And so she offered her familiar discreet wave as he approached.
At almost the same instant Viktor began his preaching to the two angered tigers, trying to calm them. All of this happening while Luna was still just eating the peanuts. But by the time the talking had dulled down, she decided to speak up.

“Well, you lot certainly managed to make an impression on the newly arrived students.” Her voice hinted neither of approval or disapproval, simply of the plain tone Luna could speak in at times. She eyed Allen up and down for a brief second, before speaking again.

“You and Alec had an eventful morning?” Luna offered a teasing grin. While she had not spend much time speaking to Allen on his own, she had certainly developed a friendship with his roommate, Alec. The liveliness of the boy was a rather grand feature, and one Luna enjoyed spending time with every now and then. That was also her main source of Allen and Alec’s adventures, Alec always being so eager to tell of what Allen had gotten up to now, never holding back a jest.

Luna’s gaze shifted away from Allen again, and back to the little Karen. She wet her lips, before gesturing the girl over. ”Karen, come here and try these. They’re fantastic.” Luna of course knew what Karen’s mind was going off about, and did her best at pulling her away from the spotlight. She could grow uncomfortable so very quickly.

”Lee. I know you aren’t fond of this. But, don’t you reckon they’ll be able to … uh.” She chose her next words wisely, in company of the apprentice of an Archtype, and the Dragon God disciple. ”To let off some steam? Might be stress relieving, and all that. I am sure I read that somewhere. And besides, if it’s within the grounds, no one will get hurt, mhm?” . She ended the sentence with grabbing another peanut, before observing the outcome of the scene.

Hey everyone! Just gonna eat and then I'll write! Been out filming for some YouTubers for like 7 hours xD

Luna snorted bemused at Viola, shaking her head with a grin. It was not entirely unexpected, seeing as teasing Viola often earned you a shot back. She gave the girl a light push with another grin, calling the small exchange a draw. The conversation was interrupted when Viktor dropped out of the blue, lying on the floor like a baby seal in the middle of a desert. Lee quickly tended to him, leaving Luna rather dumbfounded as she blinked her eyes at the weaver. His clothing was as peculiar as ever, and it was hard not to stare at his hands every now and then. Luna only recalled a few minor conversations with Viktor – nothing major. He always looked like something out a fairy tale. The odd and clever sorcerer perhaps, even if he did seem to suddenly disappear every now and then. But his magic interested Luna, especially with the possibility of traveling between dimensions. It was something she certainly wanted to learn herself – however it may be possible. For now, though, manipulating time itself was quite the trick to pull off. In addition to that, gaining control over space would be… indescribable.

The chronomancer did not even make it to ask the dehydrated mage anything before another known figure appeared. Polyanna Saccharine shared the oddness of clothing with Viktor. It was not difficult to recognize the two, even at a distance. Luna remained ever so silent, simply observing the situation before her. Though she did accept the lollipop, the girl eyed it for a bit, seeming rather reluctant. Sweets never had been her strong suit, seeing, as her parents had had no interest in giving any to her. That had not bothered her, as it just was what it was, sweets. Upon Luna’s arm, a sigil began to light up in a faint golden glow. If someone noticed it, it would not take them long to notice the frown that followed with it on Luna’s face.

“I do not mean to be rude. But we’re in fact late for the ceremony.” Luna muttered as Lee went to have a lick on the lollipop, which she herself still had not touched at all. Still, it did not seem to bother her. Instead, Luna went to Viktor. The sigil was still glowing faintly, not being bigger than a small apple. She peered at him for a second or two, pondering upon something. Supposedly, he should wake up soon. Still, she could use sooner. With that, thought Luna held up her hand, a few centimeters from the boy’s forehead. Her eyes briefly looked over her shoulder, furrowing her brow at the group before turning her head back. She cleared her throat, as she always did before messing with magic.

She muttered to herself briefly, but instead of any magical sensation the group behind her might have expected, Luna gave Viktor a light slap on the scarf that covered his face.

“Viktor! Come on, now. Not only does Polyanna want to see you, but we’re –late-.”
