“Making fire rain down in a class wasn’t exactly the result I was hoping to achieve this morning.” Allen answered, cracking a smile on Luna’s lips. She nodded in agreement to herself, as she grabbed another peanut. The conversations went on, and Xinhua called forth a thunderous weather as she left. The Mess Hall was as panicked as it had been since the initial brawls had broken out. Luna was rather cautious herself, keeping a wary eye on potential unpleasant lightning strikes. No one seemed to get hurt luckily, as Xinhua took her leave. Viola went on to approach Meruin, wanting to make a contract with the girl. Viola and her contracts were … special, certainly. It was something Luna had managed to stay out of, for the good reason of worrying about the fine print.

“Viola, I hope you’re not intending on summoning anything that’ll want to cause a shamble in our room, no? Or mess up my notes for that matter. It would be most distressing.” Luna’s British accent shun through, as she smirked at Viola with a playful grin. She had never been fond of dueling herself, mostly due to the fact that Chronomancy was difficult to fight with, if you did not have intentions of mortally wounding, or killing the person. It was very much possible. Luna’s teacher, Eleanor McKinly, had handed her several papers, which discussed the issue. She had read about one Mathieu Chéreau whom had perfected the art. Both wonderful and terrible stories of what he had managed to do. He had once conjured a bolt of chronomatic energy, which had simply hit its target, and forced their age a hundred years forward in time, making them a sad piece of rotten meat on the spot. It had brought shivers when Luna first read it, but it was impressive nonetheless. One just had to get creative.

Lee was on the way to chase down Xinhua, but stopped for a hug for the newly returned Viktor. "Don't go disappearing again. You need to be the voice of reason in this group." Luna could not help but grin at that, waving towards Lee with a smile as she took her leave. While she considered herself a fairly reasonable person, she could not disagree with Lee. While the situation had dulled down – somewhat at least – it never was bad to be cautious of another similar outburst. Life at the University never was dull, far from it, actually.

Luna tip-toed for a few seconds, before she nodded to herself. “Nonetheless, I’ll get some fresh air. Got a little heated in here, afterall.” Luna giggled gently, shaking her head briefly. “Oh, feel free to tag along! Company is always good.” Luna smiled towards each individual in the group, before she turned on her heels and strolled outside. Once there she dusted her dress off again, and promptly made sure her hair had not become messy during the thunder. She took a seat on a bench outside, pulling out a small notebook. Within it was notes and sketches, of everything between heaven and earth.

Leo looked at Charles, then turned away while the younger boy was distracted, so as to hide his pity. He had sensed something unusual in the other Mage, namely the fact that things as basic as trains and elevators were surprising to him. There was also the fact that Charles was a person of few words, which was unusual for normal nine-year olds. Answer, Charles was not a normal nine-year old - well, he was a Mage, but one knew what Leo meant.

Not like you know what a normal nine-year old is like, part of Leo spoke. A sigh at that, before the young man smiled at Charles and Sergei, saying:

"You'll like the mall, Charles. There's plenty of things to do there, and plenty of things to eat!" Some of those things involved ice coffee, ice cream, and pastries. A smile at that; sugary treats brought a zest to life...at least for some.

That said, though, Leo wasn't blind; part of the reason that he wanted to help Charles was because he knew the boy had most obviously been abandoned, abandoned in a way that was worse than what happened to him. A sigh at that; he wasn't the most courageous of people, but he wanted to help.

Viktor

Viktor watched, surprised to Xinhua's outburst. His worst fear happened. He was caught completely off guard by the lightning storm. The only thing he was able to do when the lighting storm begun was quickly pulling one of the strings from the knot he made before, making a thin barrier of dust around him, to prevent the lightning to strike him. As the lightning continued, he began looking around, very worried to what could happen to the other students. Surprisingly, Xinhua had an excellent control of her magic, even when she was bristling with rage.

"Its surprising that someone so hotheaded can have such control with her magic." he thought to himself, untangling the knot he made hastly. The only vestiges of it was a small circle of dust around his feet.

After Xinhua left, he sighed loudly, disappointed with all that happened. He couldn't help but feel worried about Xinhua. If she continued like that, she would destroy her own life, and her chances to be happy.
Meruin was just being dragged around, and was clearly confused about everything that happened. That situation will bring only harm to both girls if they continued.

He was still disappointed, thinking in what to do, when Lee came and hugged him. He got completely stiff, blushing. He couldn't even remember the last time someone hugged him, he didn't knew how to react to that.

"Don't go disappearing again. You need to be the voice of reason in this group."

He smiled to her as she winked to him and walked away, the most true and sincere smile he had ever given to someone. Each second that he passed near that girl, he wanted more and more to protect her. The world is cruel, its people are bad, manipulative, greedy... He couldn't even imagine in what could happen to that sweet girl if she happened to stand face to face with the world's darker side.
"I will try not to disappear. I think now I have a motive to stay here." he thought to himself, watching her leaving the room.

Some minutes passed before he could regain his composure.

"Viola, I don't think that its a good idea to encourage the only one that is not willing to continue this nonsense." he said, looking seriously to her, walking in front of her and Meruin.

Turning his face to Meruin, he said to her with a smooth and calming voice
"Meruin, I know you are confused about what happened, but remember everything that I said to you." he said
"You are an outstanding mage. Very intelligent and responsible. I congratulate you for that, although I still think that you should be a little less "Apprentice of an Archetype" and be a little more of yourself."

"Violence leads only to destruction. Nothing more. Continue being yourself. Let me take care of all this "duel" thing. If you don't want to fight, I can help you. Just look for me if you want my help ok?" he said, walking out of the room.

"And Viola, I beg you... don't do or say anything unnecessary. I believe you will do the right thing" he said, before catching up with Luna.

"Am I included on your invitation?" he asked, smiling "Disaster always seem to follow me whenever I go... Sometimes its not even my fault." he said, laughing.

"I'm worried about Xinhua." he thought to himself, idly pulling and pushing many magical strings between his hands, making intricate knots, just to untangle them afterwards.
"If she continues like that, she will never be happy. That behavior and way of thinking will only lead her to her own destruction. She will harm herself and others around her. Both physically and emotionally."
"I sincerely don't know why people care so much about disputes of power." he said. "There are so many mysteries in the world, so many things we don't know... How one can care more about violence than discovering and studying the wonderful reality that we live in?" He said, as the strings between his hands took the form of an intricate shape, shining brightly, as a miniature galaxy began to take form in his hand.

He raised his hands, showing it to her.
"Don't worry, its not an actual galaxy, i'm just simulating the creation of one. No actual forces involved." he said, smiling. "The last time I tried to do this, I almost asphyxiated myself when I made a mistake trying to emulate the vacuum from space." he said laughing
"Using magic, its possible to simulate the creation of even an universe! With the adequate spells and techniques, it would be possible not only to create life from scratch, but even create entire galaxies, or even realities itself! Not only pocket dimensions, but an actual parallel reality!" he said, with a big smile, his eyes shining.

"Oh... I am talking too much again, am I not?" he asked awkwardly.

A man once said that sometimes, you have to fight fire with fire. Little did Allen know that fighting Chaos with a more chaotic display would do just that. Xinhua's raging thunderclouds quelled the rampaging students in the mess hall as everyone ducked under tables and whatever protection they could use. It some way, that fear brought a bit of peace to the hall, before the Enforcers took that opening to bring a firm grasp of order in the dining area.

Allen himself didn't trust in the situation, ushering a whisper before the gray symbol on his shoulder glowed. An aura of wind swirled around him. It felt like a soft breeze circling around the elemental mage, but it was in fact protection against the very same element used. Lightning was part of Air's domain, in Allen's case, and even if lightning was to struck Allen, he would reduce its effectiveness.

However, just as the sky always clear after the storm, Xinhua's magic would soon disperse after she had left the hall. Truly, she was one of those people whose pride would blind them to reason. Even though wise words spoken by good friends were told, she ignored them and left everyone behind. Some left, perhaps chasing after her, while others were assembling around Meruin to assess her situation.

The elemental journeyman didn't quite like the situation. He wasn't particularly agreeing with Viola taking the opportunity of the moment to suggest ideas that reeked of sinister ulterior motives.

With Viktor already saying what there was to say, Allen wouldn't add more to it, lest he would appear to be somewhat pushy about his ideals. There was no need for Allen to speak any further. What was done is now done, and what has been said is all there is to it. As much as the young mage would like to help, he didn't want to impair Meruin with his presence, and didn't want to go nag Xinhua any further.

All that was left to do is to trust in the others and their relationship with each other. Hearing out Luna's idea of taking a breather outside, it did seemed like a good idea. The tension was too high in here.

Following shortly after Viktor leaving the mess hall, it was Allen's turn to leave the area, but not without turning to the others and offering a faint smile. "Well then, it's sad, but I guess that's all there is to it. Well, I mean, for now. Good luck with your duel, Meruin. I hope you will be able to prove to all what you are capable of." Allen said, turning back and heading towards the exit. "If anyone needs me, I'll probably be blowing some stuff around the gym, as always." He added with a laugh as the silver-haired elementalist passed through the doors.

Taking a short stroll, Strauss found Luna and Viktor, who seemed to be speaking to each other, and the Weaver offering quite a show with his magic. Allen approached the two just as the shrouded mage finished speaking.

"As one speaks with passion about such interesting subjects, one never speaks too much." Allen answered to Viktor, offering a greeting gesture to the Weaver and the Chronomancer.

"I haven't see you for a while, Viktor. I thought you had left the university." the elementalist added as he offered his hand for a friendly shake.

"Quite the spokesman you are, my friend. Good words coming from a good man. I liked your speech earlier. It's just a shame our resident Dragon Disciple is too stubborn to listen."

Alexander shrugged his shoulders. He didn't particularly care where the tour started he just wanted to know where it ended he was ready to get down to business he wanted to learn. That's what he was here for after all. Learning magic and perfectimg the ability to bring someone back to life that last part was sort of his own little secret though.

After finishing trailing off inti though Alexander looked up and smiled. "just start wherever you think is best' he said adding a second smile to the end of it. Alex wasn't much for emotion but in a public setting there really wasn't room for shrewed comments and harsh monotones so taking a few emotions couldn't hurt anyone, could they? @TheHangedMan

As the sun rolled in, students began dispersing to their respective destinations. Most of them were headed back to bed - this really wasn't a normal time to be awake - while others decided to get a head-start and register for their desired classes. Registering for a class was simple. Depending on your rank and aptitude in other classes, you could qualify for another one. In other words, if a professor in "Basic Flame Magic" hasn't cleared you for that class, then you weren't allowed to apply for "Basic Massive Explosions Magic" - for safety and practical reasons, of course.

Asides from that, credits from different classes were required for two things that practically everyone deemed more important than the lectures themselves - Field Trips, and Exams. Without the right amount of credits, you might be forbidden from going to a certain place, or barred from taking an exam. This wasn't a hard rule, of course, but it was still one that was easier to follow than having to go through alternative methods.

It would be three days before students were allowed to sign up for Field Trips or Exams, but some students were already trying to book reservations. For Field Trips, there was a limit to the number of students that could go at once, while for Exams, well, some professors were more popular examiners than others. Especially if it meant passing.

Students who signed up for classes would receive their schedule two days afterwards.

Noah Salik || Mess Hall

Lucas grinned. "First day at the university and already extorting." Noah's grin turned to a smile, "Love at first sight, think it's a little more than that. I knew how to find you, way before I even knew of your existence, so maybe, love at first thought?" He questioned, jokingly adding. "Anyway, my heads been buzzing like this since my fight with my Master. I can't remember the fight, but they say that he is... no more. Maybe a curse was his parting gift to me, one more betrayal." He looked around now, he wasn't very angry, but he also wasn't happy. "So my name has a label, even to first years. Infamous already."

His head started to sting, his facial expression showed the signs of distress, images were blurry and shooting through him fast, but only one stood out. He was standing over his Master, Noah covered in blood. The images were hurting his head, he clenched his fist, splitting the palm of his skin open, blood flowing out of his hand in a clenched fist. He shook his head returning to the world.

"You're not a normal student. Someone on edge as you, pulling a weapon on another student who just knew your name. Plus, you've revealed your magic to me. Your eyes." He leaned in now, his face a feet away from hers, whispering. "You're looking at their magic, maybe doing more. So tell me Goldie, who are you and what are you doing here?"

Alex shook his head. "no I don't mind. It doesn't really make a difference to me" Alex said with a chuckle. It made no difference to him what hhappened. Perhaps it would be healthy for him to make a friend or two around here. Walking up the boys he held out his hand.

"Alexander B Alcaster. But you can call me Alex" the boy shrugged his shoulders as he said this. In his personal opinion he really didn't care what anyone did. He had a nuteral stand point for everything for now. He did however hope to get to know someone. @TheHangedMan @Letter Bee @olcharlieboi

"Of course I don't mind," Leo replied to Rose, while looking around at the mall, already thinking of what needed to be bought. Sweets were first on Leo's mind, then magical practice tools, and clothes were a third until he gave it a few moment's thought, after which it became first. Now he debated with himself over whether to let them buy ordinary clothing, or use some of the money he saved up to lend the two kids something actually cool that would improve their social prospects.

"Hello, Alexander," he would then greet the other kid when he introduced himself. "My name is Leo. Leo Young." Activating his magical senses for a little while, Leo can see powerful, yet...untapped, magic in Alex, something that used both Creation and Destruction. As for Charles, Leo was pleasantly surprised to see that the young boy had even more immense power, mostly Creation, but with parts of Existence and Time. These two needed to be treated with respect, it seemed.

"Anyway," Leo spoke to Rose and Sergei, "if we're buying clothes, can we at least go to Angela's?" Angela's shop was the most fashionable of the clothing stores in the mall, where Leo bought all his black-and-white clothes the moment he had saved up enough to afford them.

"The three of us together can probably afford to get them something nice..." Yes, Leo had something to gain from this; he was not going to let Charles and Alex settle for something bland and ordinary. Students of their potential calibre deserved better.

After this, though, sweets!

~Viola Rifei~

@TheHangedMan

"Wah~ Lee, would I ever do such a thing?~" Viola leaned into Lee's hair ruffling in an almost cat like manner. The amusement in her voice was a bit concerning likely, but she wasn't planning to cause trouble. She'd never do such a thing anyways. That said, it wasn't like she wasn't capable of doing something like that, and if given the opportunity she likely most certainly would summon something...so, perhaps they had a right to worry. Not that it mattered really. If she wanted to do it, she'd do it. Besides, as a rule of thumb summoning something in your own home was generally a bad idea, especially if you were of her level. She watched Lee and Luna leave with a small smile. They had nothing to worry about, really. Viola considered them friends...or at least, entertaining and worthy of attempting to be friendly, at any rate.

She turned to Meruin, who was musing silently to herself about something. Being similar to Xinhua? Perhaps, but Viola liked to think that Meruin wasn't as arrogant as the dragon. She watched, immediately curious as Meruin performed some small feats of magic. A bird of some sort - was it an illusion? If it was, it was and incredibly good one but the other mage dismissed any such thoughts. It was real, then? That was...incredibly curious. Viola found herself much more interested in Meruin then she already was. Viola smiled, giving Meruin a wide grin.

"Oh my, that was certainly curious. You'll have to tell me what that was later, but for now..." Viola removed the bindings from her journal, laying it on the table in front of her. "On to business, then! To put simply, I am quite in tune with spirits of all sorts. from Elementals from the Alchemic practices, Djinn from the Middle East, to spirits of the dead...and demons." Viola spoke that last one in a somewhat hushed tone. Summoning demons was not going to go earn her any brownie points with anyone, but she would be lying if she said she didn't know the method of summoning a few. "That said, due to the silly practices of the headmaster I am somewhat lacking...I can not summon any particularly fearsome spirits yet. However, simply put if I have your aid, I can likely summon one and oversee you forming a contract with one. I'll make sure you get a fair deal of course. Gathering the materials for summoning a strong spirit would not be too difficult, and with a little of my own magic and your power we could certainly summon something quite fearsome." She paused for a moment, taking great interest in a piece of candy she pulled out of her pocket and popping it into her mouth.

"Something, say, fearsome enough to make a dragon quake in her scales?~" She giggled, pushing the book towards Meruin. "My master was quite knowledgeable about a number of spirits and made this...index, of them for me to use should I have need of them once I am sufficiently strong enough to summon them without such rituals for combat purposes. You could look through them, if you wish. The contract will be temporary - it would be the best terms to use. Spirits are more agreeable when there are clearly set objectives for the contract...ahem, but-ehe, excuse me. I think I might be talking to much." Viola smiled, hand resting on the journal as she continued. "All I would want from you...is for you to get me into the Forest. You are the apprentice of an Archemage, correct? The headmaster is a fool for restricting access to such a place and stunting the students growth because of some stupidly thought danger. How is a mage supposed to get stronger without a little bit of danger, hmm?" She leaned back, sighing in some irritated and tiredness.

"I've been here for a year, but because the only spirits around here are weak poltergeists and other ghosts in the graveyard, my skill is stagnating and I loathe it. Oh sure, I could go on a field trip but there would be no guarantee I'd run into a good spirit to contract, not to mention any I did run into would likely be quite old and powerful...and I would rather not attempt to outwit and bind some ancient spirit that could curse me for eternity should I fail. I do not mind a little risk involved, but such a thing is foolish. The forest here would likely at least have some decent spirits I could contract that are of a decent power, but not so great that should I accidentally offend one that the consequences would be too serious. Preferably a Sylph...I do so love those things. Gnomes are adorable too, though, hehe~"

Slightly hypocritical considering what she was already planning, but she felt as though she had little choice in the matter. Of course, if Meruin accepted this deal then things might progress a bit faster.

"I understand if that's a bit much though. The rules are quite strict, or so I understand." Viola continued. "But just to be clear, you don't have to try until the day of or after the summoning, or even after the duel, and if you can't then that is fine, hehe. Even this will be good practice for me to see how a more...experienced mage works." She'd have her fun with this duel regardless if she got a spirit or not if Meruin accepted this little proposal. Plus, one could learn many things simply from watching. "So, Meruin, do we have a deal?~" It was in honesty, a pretty good deal. No consequences for Meruin even if she didn't hold up her end of the bargain.

Training Grounds

After she'd shown the young girl around the dorms, which took remarkably less time than she's originally anticipated, Lee quickly made her way to her shared dormitory with Xinhua to try and use her network to find the aforementioned girl. Sitting down in the comfort of her own room, surrounded by vines and flowers, and all that she'd grown to care about in her past seventeen years of existence, meditation came easy to Lee and soon she was in her mind's eye, soaring through the system of plantlife around the school.

Finding Xinhua was easy. When she'd first checked around the area surrounding the mess hall and found not the Dragon God disciple but a couple of teens interlocked in a strange ritual that Lee still fails to understand despite her years, the training grounds were her next choice. Through a nearby tree, she saw the girl signing forms that would allow her to use the grounds to train or, as Lee knew her to, vent her frustrations on helpless boulders.

There wasn't a moment to lose. Lee broke her trance and headed to an open window, smiling softly at once again being able to use this particular spell. She brought up the animal's image in her mind, and in a poof of white smoke, her body had transformed. While personally, she enjoyed taking the form of a dog more often than the others, she had to admit being a raven had its perks. For one, it allowed her to reach the training grounds quickly, enough to catch Xinhua's screams of anger as it began to die down.

Lee perched on a boulder, choosing to let Xinhua calm down a moment before approaching her, but released a squawk of surprise when Xinhua absentmindedly kicked the boulder to bits. Lee flew off somewhere safe and shifted back to her human form, heaving slightly from her surprise. She gave Xinhua a sheepish look once she caught her breath.

"Careful now," she teased, but the smile fell short on her lips. She stood to her full height and approached Xinhua slowly, her hands tucked behind her. "Look..." she began, worrying her bottom lip, "I'm sorry for getting mad at you earlier and, you know, abandoning you right in the middle of that mess." A smile crept up to her lips and she looked up at Xinhua with a spark in her eyes. "Mess... In the mess hall. Get it?" She allowed a chuckle before scratching the back of neck and continuing her previous line of thought, "Anyway, I just... It wasn't like you. You don't lose your cool like that and, really, challenging Meruin was just stupid."

Before Xinhua could say anything, Lee went in for a hug. "I was worried. You're really strong, but you have to have heard what the professors say about Meruin. She's extremely powerful. Her magic is really powerful, and she probably doesn't have that much of a control over it." She pulled back, but only slightly. "If you fought her... Well, you might get hurt and where would that leave me? I don't want to find a new roommate. She might not be as tolerant of my... aesthetic as you are and we both know that's a deal-breaker." Mirth filled Lee's eyes and a playful smile tugged at the corners of her lips.

She pulled Xinhua in for another hug, squeezing the girl slightly before letting her go. "I'm gonna be neutral in this fight of yours, but I'm gonna get some ice cream afterwards. You can come by my room after you've dealt with your wounds." She paused, thinking. "Huh? What day is it? I think Ophelia might be here for your duel, but I'm not sure. I bet she'd love to see that fight."

She took a couple of steps back, about to offer her services as a sparring partner when a thought came to her. "Oh! I'm not sure if Meruin said yes, but before I left, Viola was talking to her about a deal or something. Maybe talk to her about that later?"

Charles would listen to Sergei as he explained about the mall, he would mostly look sideways at the structure unsure what he should feel about this. He would look to when a new voice announced it self along with a new kid like them. He listen as they greeted each others and spoke for a few minutes before decided to join groups. He would look at the new person, Alexander, as he introduced himself. Now learning about Rose and Alexander "Charles..." he'd say in reply, looking at alexander's extended hand sideways. Then he would listen as Leo went on about going to a shop for clothes and such. Taking the chance that none of the others was talking finally he'd ask "...what are shops..?" he would ask then after a moment he'd realize something "What are clothes....?" he'd then ask turning his head sideways at the others confused and wondering what they was talking about since he didn't understand most of it.

Luna observed Viktor’s miniature galaxy before her. She smiled at the creation, quickly being fascinated by the look of it. With a small and unnoticeable mutter her sigil began glowing briefly again as she looked at the galaxy. The small gesture quickly stopped again, as she placed her hand on a page, leaving a similar glowing sigil, which faded with a quick mutter. The girl listened intently as the passionate boy spoke. He spoke of the possibility of creation of parallel realities, which caused Luna to ponder on the subject instantly. She tilted her head, before nodding in a hidden excitement. Just as Luna was about to comment, Allen approached. She returned the greeting with a smile, nodding in agreement to what he said.

”Believe me, Viktor, I can easily get carried away with talking as well. No need to apologize, silly. What you can do is most fascinating, I must admit.” Luna offered a smile and standing up from the bench, to fit with her company.

"I haven't see you for a while, Viktor. I thought you had left the university." Luna grinned slightly at that, nodding.

”I must agree with Allen. You seem to disappear every now and then. I almost thought it was for good this time.” Luna grimaced, only being able to imagine how the Weaver’s magic worked, and how difficult it would be to master it. And even though he disappeared every now and then, he seemed to have –somewhat- control of it otherwise. Somewhat.
Allen spoke of the incident they had all just witnessed. It was rather unusual for Xinhua to have reacted the way she did. Actually, Luna had never seen her like that. The girl usually kept a calm posture and was rather patient. But well, everyone has a limit, after all.

Luna kept the notebook embraced against her chest as the conversations went on. She never noticed, but passively her posture always became protective whenever she was holding that very notebook. Even if it simply contained notes and various sketches, from magical related drawings to drawings she had done when she was younger. While she had not looked at the first few pages for years now, she could collect a portion of it having been dedicated to a diary. The Chronomancer had done her best to keep it out of Viola’s hands and knowledge. Much as she liked the girl she was not about to show her the content of that book. Not yet, at least.

”It’s always so exciting when a new year starts. Imagine all these new students, and what they can do! I suppose we’ll see some of it if the Monteiro brothers throw as many parties as they did last year.” Luna giggled gently at the memory of the former year’s parties with the twins. The Monteiro Twins were notorious for throwing parties at random times, and never failed to deliver. ”Nonetheless you two, I go make sure Karen isn’t too much besides herself. I’ll see you tomorrow, I guess.” Luna nodded and curtsied before the two, book still held close by her arms. And she strolled off with a smile.

Viktor

"I haven't see you for a while, Viktor. I thought you had left the university."

"Yeah, there was an... accident..." he said to both.
"Involving my room, myself, and pocket dimensions, and four months of being trapped between two dimensions without food or water... Its a long story."

"About my disappearances... There is a reason why many people hunt weavers,, try to capture or keep away from them in the world." he looked to his hands with a distant stare.

"One thing you need to know about weavers is that our greatest enemy is our own greed for knowledge."

"The most powerful weavers are often the most curious ones, and very often, have shorter lives than others. We are able to tamper with some very powerful forces of this world. Many of which should remain untouched." he looked to the holes on his hands.

"The possibilities are endless, but the consequences are equally endless. And believe me, its hard to resist the temptation. Every day in our life is a test to our force of will to resist the temptation to touch certain strings. Strings that no human should touch." he said with a dark expression.

"But I found a reason... to stay here. To be more carefull." he said, looking down, a little embarrassed, but definitely happy.

”Nonetheless you two, I go make sure Karen isn’t too much besides herself. I’ll see you tomorrow, I guess.”

"Well, I would love to tell you more about myself and my art. But its a very, very long story." he said, after Luna.
"See you tomorrow Luna." he said, waving his hand.
"You too Allen, I would love to share my knowledge and experiences, but sadly I need to see Polyanna... She is very mad at me because I've... uuh.... Sealed my room in another dimension, and its now unreachable by any means." he said, laughing nervously.
"I've kept her waiting too much already. I need to go see her. But please, if you wish to hear my stories and share experiences, please search for me. I would certainly love to share what I know." he said, bowing to Allen, before walking to Polyanna's office.

...

As he walked through the corridors, he was still nervous about meeting Polyanna. That woman scared him.

Trying to calm himself down, he did what he always did... Started weaving. Some minor knots... Changing the temperature around him... Basic knots that any decent weaver could do without many problems.

Knocking on her door, Viktor prepared himself to face the the woman's wrath, still weaving, trying to calm himself down.

Allen nodded in agreement as Luna spoke about how exciting it was to meet new students every year. Allen himself was fond of greeting the new students every year, know about a bit of themselves and offer a helping should they need anything. It wasn’t rare for Allen to have visitors to his dorm because of this. His good-hearted and helping nature always drawn people to him for either help, discussions about magic and such or simply for friendly chattering. As such, the dorm shared by Allen, Alec and their more mysterious roommate was always kept tidy and full of furniture to accommodate guests.

The Elementalist chuckled in turn when he was reminded of the Monteiro twins. Indeed, he always appreciated the parties they were throwing randomly. It helped ease the stiffness and stress around the campus most of the times. There was only that one time Allen had gotten into an argument with the brothers when they threw a party in the middle of the exams week. Not that he wasn’t against the tension-relief effects of such festivities, but he had problems with the fact that other students were not in the condition to fully pass their exams before of they partied too hard.

The silver-haired young man listened intently as Viktor spoke of the cause of his disappearance, involving Weaver magic and sealed dimensions. Truly, that magic was something to be afraid of, Allen confirmed. If only they could try and be less reckless with their magic and maintain boundaries, such things wouldn’t happen. But to explore the full possibilities of magic, Allen could understand the desire that drives both Weavers and other magic-users alike to push limits and try something grander. After all, the Elemental Mage wouldn’t be in this sad state right now if it wasn’t for him trying to find new applications to Elemental magic.

”Nonetheless you two, I go make sure Karen isn’t too much besides herself. I’ll see you tomorrow, I guess.”

Allen nodded in response, offering a polite bow of his silver-haired head as the Chronomancer bid goodbye to the Elementalist and the Weaver. While he may not show it much, Allen was quite good at reading people, from his plentiful experience with holding lengthy conversations with people. Throughout the time they spoke, the young man could not help but notice just how close Luna kept the book she was holding against herself. From the looks of it, that book was something very important to the young woman. Maybe was it a journal of some kind, or perhaps a memento of her past? Who knew, it wasn’t Allen’s business, and he wasn’t the kind of soul to pry into others’ personal lives.

"You too Allen, I would love to share my knowledge and experiences, but sadly I need to see Polyanna... She is very mad at me because I've... uuh.... Sealed my room in another dimension, and its now unreachable by any means."

Allen chuckled slightly to Viktor. Surely, the problem he had during those four months was giving a headache to the higher-authority of the university. He did however hoped that the Head Enforcer would show a bit of sympathy to the Weaver who spent all this time in isolation from the world.

"Alright Viktor. Good luck with Lady Polyanna, and stay safe friend." Allen said before Viktor left.

Now alone as Viktor the Weaver and Luna the Chronomancer left, Allen sat on the bench, still somewhat warm from Luna's previously sitting here. It was almost time for everyone to go to classes for most of the day, and gods know just how the Elementalist was busy in a day's worth of classes. Usually, he'd try to take as much different Elemental Magic classes as he could get for the day, given they were held at different times. Sometimes it would just happen for Allen to get his favoured classes back-to-back, just as some unlucky days most of said classes would happen all at the same time.

Regularly checking in for classes, Allen's first order of business today was attending Fire Elemental Magic, hence the reason he was practicing with his fire magic this early morning, as to give him a bit of "stretching" before going to study today. Having no time to get a change of clothes before going to classes this morning, Allen sighed as he got up from the bench, and started walking towards the Gyms complex, where most of the classes were taken.

Alex looked at the boy confused. Was he serious he didn't know what a shop was. Alexander had spend his whole life alone his little house and even he knew what a show was. How was it this boy didn't know what a shop was. He looked at Charles and chuckled a little as he spoke. "well you see shops are a place where you exchange money for items you need such as. Alchemichal or enchanting runes and ingredients or clothing to wear" Alexander chuckled a little and smiled looking over to the other boy again.

Alexander had peeked a serious amount of interest In the other boy. He wasn't sure what it was about him but there was something unique and interesting that he needed to know more about. Alexander smiled and stood there awaiting instructions. He didnt know what to do or say but he was genuinely happy and that counted. Being focused on magic made him lose most of his emotions but he seemed to feel something of an emotion at this current time.

Leo blinked at that. Charles...didn't know such basic stuff? That was screwed up! Well, best to inquire with Sergei and Rose, with the trademark lack of subtlety that characterized someone raised in the University all his life.

"Okay," the white-haired boy would ask Sergei, "where did you find Charles, and in what circumstances? I mean, this is suprising, someone his age should know such basic stuff. Was there an accident or something? Maybe an incident that erased his memories? Did he even have a master before coming here?" Then, turning to Charles, Leo would then explain, tugging a little on his own clothing:

"Clothes are things you wear, basically, they're like a...second skin made up of fabric that you use to cover your body to protect it from the weather, to keep yourself decent, as well as to look good, like, and sorry to be prideful, me." Leo loved his black-and-white fashions, and while he didn't like showing pridefulness, he did like the fact that he looked great.

The young man then looked at Alexander, puzzled for a bit at how the Destruction Mage looked at him, then finally realizing it. The kid had a crush on him! Which was gross, as Alex was 15 while Leo was both 18 and already had a boyfriend, Daniel (not to be confused with any present students named Daniel!). Nevertheless, Leo was still a little flattered and happy.

Extending a hand, he ruffled Alexander's hair, saying:

"I'm glad you're trying to help."

Charles would listen as they had begun to explain about clothes and shops, though he would begin to get confused when Leo started to question Sergei "...What is the matter.... did... I say.. something wrong..?" he asks. Unsure as to make of the confusion on both Leo and Alexander's faces. He didn't understand what was wrong with what he said, nor why the others seem to be confused from it. "..also.. what is money?.." he asks them. unsure as to what that is as well, Alexander had spoken of it when explaining about shops, while learning what a shop is it just confused him more by other words he didn't understand. It seemed like this was going to happen a lot in the future at lest until Charles can understand the basics of society.

"Hey get in line!"

"How about you get in line, I was here first!"

A huge mob of students crowded around the office for field trips, competing with each other to get a reservation on their desired area for a field trip. It was understandable, after all, too many students couldn't go in the same area at once, and this was especially true of more dangerous trips. So when it came to securing a location, it was first-come first-serve. Naturally, that led to scenes such as this every once in awhile.

"Get outta the way idiot!"

"There. Are. Line. For. A. REASON!"

While a majority of the students were tossing and shoving each other out of the way, another, smaller crowd had gathered around the billboard of available field trip spots. Murmurs spread among them as they looked at a new spot that hadn't been there in prior years:

[City of the Dead]
Journeymen only.
At least five (5) people per group.
Further details with Prof. Levi.

"Hmm . . . was - was that there before?"

"I don't think so . . . and it looks like a professor is involved in this one."

"I dunno, looks kinda fishy to me . . ."

That smile of Meruins was oddly enticing. If was the optimistic sort, she might have thought she made a new best friend in this very moment. Viola smiled herself, picking up the journal and giggling lightly.

"Those terms are entirely acceptable, Meruin dear!~" She replied. No downsides at all, and if Meruin could get her into the forest, that was all she cared for. She didn't mind putting in a little work, or going out on a small field trip. She'd have to...do something about her general uselessness in combat scenarios, perhaps. Convincing a few poltergeists to tag along wouldn't be too difficult...not that they were entirely combat effective, but they could do a few neat tricks.

"So, why don't we discuss these terms and your plans elsewhere?" The small mage inquired, resting her chin on her hand. "It t'would be beneficial for the both of us if I have a clearer understanding of what you want."
