I ate a brownie once at a party in college. It was intense. I felt like I was floating. Turns out there wasn't any pot in the brownie. It was just an insanely good brownie.

The Legion is looking a bit lonely!

If it would be okay I may roll a legion character as well as my JL one? But there is still time for more baddies to appear!!

Well, I'm def no SW superfan, and haven't played ToR, but that won't stop me from throwing my interest on the table!

Count me in!

This roleplay is open for anyone who enjoys the Universe and wants to run around being a Jedi/Sith/Smuggler etc etc. Not much more to it than that. We can help you with sheets.

You won't get bitten from me for not knowing every in and out of the EU!

Welcome to Star Wars - The Old Republic: Legacy

3997 BBY

"The Dark Lords of the Sith have risen again. Together, we will bring down the galaxy."
―Exar Kun to Ulic Qel-Droma

Something is brewing in the Galaxy, something sinister. With so much change arising around us, it's all too easy to miss something small.

Something small like a Jedi Master and his Padawan going missing in action on the desolate glacier planet, Hoth. Jedi Master Lako'nas has been a great asset to the Jedi Order, and his Padawan, Evamadi Tashar shows great potential. I fear the worst has happened. You know that I have had my suspicions about him for some time - I fear for young Evamadi.

The Dark Side is spreading like a disease, and the Sith grow ever stronger. We must discover what happened to Master Lako'nas - dead or alive, we must know what happened.

I wish for you to go there at once - take whomever you need to in order to get the job done.

Return to me with a conclusion to this. I leave it in your hands, Master Quanades.

This Roleplay is currently still a work in progress.

It will be based in the world of The Old Republic - with a 'smaller scale' story happening with a focused group.

To make this fair for all, and easy for me to keep under control, I am keeping much of the structure for this roleplay from The Old Republic video game, including 'classes' (see below). But this should most importantly be a fun roleplay for you to live out your Star Wars dreams.

As such, please only submit a character if you are serious. I intend for this game to last, I will take into consideration your reputation when accepting applications. Wanted to make that one clear from the get go! Don't submit and ditch people!

This shall be an advanced level roleplay - so more than 3 paragraphs will be the standard for every post.

I will be keeping this mid-sized to begin with - with between 8-10 characters being accepted.

As mentioned, this is still a work in progress - I hope to get my OOC up in the next week or so, should I get everything put down and the first Chapter planned out so to speak.

*Disclaimer* I am not a complete Star Wars universe Omniscient nerd. I might make mistakes on lore, but will consult my personal Wookiepedia, @Mortarion to make sure everything is fine and dandy come roleplay kick off.

Finally, yes, you can play as a 'baddie' and potentially a Sith.

Tfw you read this OOC when you're half asleep then dream you're a superhero! Yeah boiiii
Are we able to apply with existing heroes?

Happy to pitch my own idea but also keen on potentially playing an existing!
"Sleight of hand?" She replied, her eyes locked onto his own with a devilish smile playing across her lips; "perhaps, but really, a Lady never tells."

She drew away from the bars, pulling her arms back inside as she took a slow backwards walk to the small bed at the side of the cell. She exhaled as she sat back onto it. Thinking only of a way to get out of this miserable place. She had so far managed to hook her neighbour - or at the very least pique his interest.

She looked up at the insultingly small barred window of her cell, taking yet another deep breath as she thought about it, before turning back to Markus, less of a spark of excitement in her eyes, and more a touch of desperation. Truth be told, she was. She had no idea how long she'd be left to wilt down here. There was something about the Imperial that suggested that he was the way out - and from what she could father, she had him on board now.

"So how are we going to do it then? Need me to seduce a guard while you pickpocket him? Or, would you prefer that role?"

-

"I've never been in a predicament like this, Markus. So you might have to lead the way. I promise that if you get so much as a scratch during our act of escape, that I'll mend it for you. So what do you say? Care to tell a Lady how to break out of jail?"

To say she was well rested would have been a lie. Truth be told, the Dorcha halfling had been tossing and turning through the hours, only seldom slipping into slumber throughout the night. She spent her time awake looking over at Calanon in his bed. He appeared peaceful and in deep sleep, it didn't surprise her that he would find it so easy to sleep.

She was the first in the kitchen in the morning and took her choice of fruits, a fresh crust of warm bread, and some leftover pieces of a joint of meat from the night before. It was a mixed breakfast, but a delicious one nonetheless. She took herself outside, the sun was just rising off in the distance, pushing back the curtain of night with a honeyed warm glow, amber and magenta entwined along the horizon. It was a beautiful sight to one who had lived so long in darkness. She bit down on the apple, holding it in her mouth, the bread and meat in her bag as she climbed the gnarled trunk of a tree that was going to provide an optimal viewing spot for the rest of the sunrise. She was light-footed and nimble and made it up to a curling branch easily. She slotted herself into it where the branch contoured against her, letting her sit comfortably.

She had watched Beren leave the tavern, and continued to observe him for a while before the others appeared. It would seem to be a group meeting of sorts - now that she was fully on board with their quest, she supposed that she should join too. She let herself drop from the tree, her feet touching the grass beneath it without making a sound.

She had no sooner stepped up to join them, when Nicademus appeared too, looking like his tail was between his legs - humbled. His presence immediately unnerved her, and she felt herself tense up, fists clenching, a foot behind her ready to make a run for it. She listened to his words, but to her they were just words. Trying to compose himself and pretend to be ashamed of his pretentiousness. She wasn't buying it, she felt her lip curl. Everything about this was uncomfortable.

Surely the group was not just going to let him off freely for it? And better yet - to ask a favour, adding further insult to the injury. Surely not.

"I'd sooner keep running than them find me. You don't know them. You don't know what they'll do to me - and then to you for saving me."

"I'm sorry but... I can't run back to them, not for this quest... not for honour. There is no honour to be found in hunting them down..." She remained silent and shaking for a few moments more, she wondered if Calanon felt betrayed by her sudden cowardice - her hypocrisy. She let herself breath just for a moment before continuing; "I mean... if we seek them out then we are on their ground. The town will not be safe. If we think they are on our tail then it's because they want us to think it to do exactly what they want and fall for their traps... I have seen this." She let her eyes travel over to meet Calanon's, hoping that if she could get him to back her on this, she would have half a chance to convince the others. "Trust me, please" she said softly, as if it was only to him.
Excellent post, @POOHEAD189. I like it very much. @Stormflyx, do you want us to get started on that collab now, or after people head out on this scouting trip?

I'd rather drop a solo in first and then work on a collab :) If that's awriiiight!
