I ate a brownie once at a party in college. It was intense. I felt like I was floating. Turns out there wasn't any pot in the brownie. It was just an insanely good brownie.

"The Dark Lords of the Sith have risen again. Together, we will bring down the galaxy."
―Exar Kun to Ulic Qel-Droma

__________________________________________________

Something is brewing in the Galaxy, something sinister. With so much change arising around us, it's all too easy to miss something small.

Something small like a Jedi Master and his Padawan going missing in action on the desolate glacier planet, Hoth. Jedi Master Lako'nas has been a great asset to the Jedi Order, and his Padawan, Evamadi Tashar shows great potential. I fear the worst has happened. You know that I have had my suspicions about him for some time - I fear for young Evamadi.

The Dark Side is spreading like a disease, and the Sith grow ever stronger. We must discover what happened to Master Lako'nas - dead or alive, we must know what happened.

I wish for you to go there at once - take whomever you need to in order to get the job done.

Return to me with a conclusion to this. I leave it in your hands, Master Quanades.

Her thumbs twitched relentlessly against the console of the recording device. Her breath a mist against the display, the buttons hard to move in the current temperatures. She shivered again, the tiny flames dancing and fluttering against the bitter breeze that continued to roll in through the tiny cracks of the collapsed rock. The human female's teeth chattered as she hugged herself close, her grey eyes flicking between the device and what remained of a droid unit, crushed beneath rock. She had scavenged what she could, and part of what she was able to retrieve was this device. Her last hope.

Young Evamadi Tashar had thought this to be a trip like any other with her Master, she had no reason to fear or distrust him.

She kept trying, and trying at the device. Eventually, the lights shot on, and it began to bleep. Sh had caught a signal. It was now or never; "To anyone out there, I need help. My ship crashed here and my Master is missing. My name is Evamadi Tashar. If this signal reaches you please come find me on Hoth..."

She thought hard about where she was, if there were co-ordinates - if there was some way she could figure them out. Truthfully, she couldn't even remember how she got here, or how long it had been. Was it a day? Was it two? Or a week maybe? It was hard to tell. All she knew now were that her resources were running completely dry - this was her last shot to be saved.

As she finished her recording, she saw the device switch off once more. It was fried, and so was she. Her face showed despair, mouth agape in horror, tears filling her eyes. In a burst of rage she yelled out through the cave; "NOOOOOOOOOO!!!" her voice echoing through the tunnel caused a rumble overhead. Or was it The Force? Whatever it was, caused another rockfall - and the Young Padawan by now was so tired, so cold, she couldn't move fast enough... A terible sight it was as the rocks tumbled upon her, leaving only an outstretched arm, the hand clinging still tightly to the device. The flames extinguished but there was light...

The device reactivated...
Hey all!

This is your 12 hour reminder! You have 12 hours to finish up your sheets and get them finished for my check! I'm looking forward to reading them all - if you arent accepted this time for any reason the door will always be open for you later down the track!
@Stormflyx I sure would. Next posting round, then, if @POOHEAD189 is pushing the progression that way at a significant pace.

EDIT: I will say, I don't think I ever intended for Sett to hand his bag over. Then again, I don't recall exactly what my intent was at the time of writing up how he handed over all his weaponry... would the bags have been confiscated too, PH?

I've just probably done a silly - I'll edit it! Essentially she stole his things back for him!

The scene had gone from being quiet and, almost iddylic to absolute chaos in the time it took the group to move from the outside, down the elevator, and into the labs. Toxin wasn't surprised that one of the Peacekeepers threw up in his helmet. There was so much happening around them, she almost felt the same way - but now wasn't the time. There were people to move - innocent people, and so she got to work. While her comrades began to bring the fight, she hurried herself to free people from beds, from cages, and from tanks. The others in the room wore lab coats but they were not scientists - they were glorified torturers.

She took a good swing at one of them from behind, in a quick fit of rage - her claws extending from their place above her nails. She scratched through the white lab jacket - leaving behind her own venom. A venom she knew would be far more potent than anything they had manufactured in this lab, which made her realise that if it hadn't have been for Barbara Gordon, maybe she would have been an experiment here. It gave her more willpower to free those that were captive here without choice. She moved so quickly and efficiently, dancing around her team mates - letting them do what they did best while she did what she did best.

She had two peacekeepers watching her back - but they didn't catch the scientist who ran straight to Toxin to engage with her. They weren't fast enough to stop him from slamming a hospital gurney towards her, pinning her with her back to the wall momentarily. She had to think fast to outsmart him - but as it turned out, she didn't have to think fast at all. Just as quickly as she had found herself in the predicament, one of the civilians that she had tended to lunged towards the scientist with a shard of broken glass in his hands, he drove it into his neck. By now, the Peacekeepers had moved the gurney and freed her, but she couldn't help but watch on in shock as the blood spurted from the wound, the civilian's eyes full of rage.

The scene was not letting up, and as she darted back to Perseus' side, she saw the incoming wave of enemies. "What do we do now boss?" she asked, in the moment that they had to think of something before the next round began. "I can create a chemical compound that will shut those suits down but I'm going to need a couple of minutes and solid cover." She looked to him, to Therma, to Green Arrow. "I can do this... if there is no other way."
I posted!

If anyone's character needs a medical consultation and wants to collab with me then I'm happy to do so!

Anvil had arrived like a light at the end of an endless, miserable tunnel for Raelynn. Suddenly what had been such a grey and dreary period of her life - that had seemed to last forever - had ended, and the sun was shining again. Her blue eyes watched over the scene and the sun brought colour back to her cheeks, the thought of comfort brought a spring back to her tired step. She had barely spoken to anyone on the journey - save for a polite 'thank you' at meal times, and a nod here and there. Tamriel was collapsing around them with the Dwemer threat, but for now, the sun was in the sky and bringing a glimmer of hope with it.

Not that the Dwemer threat had been anything to do with her. She'd always disliked Rhea - the smug Imperial bitch. So she did have a chuckle to herself as she listened to her being scolded - by a Khajit of all things. Finally the weary travelers disbanded and went their separate ways, each to rejuvenate themselves and find their own comfort here. She wanted to do the same - she ached for a soft bed, for a hot bath, for some real food. They were at the top of her agenda. She had been holding onto a vial of lavender oil for such an occasion. It would go so well in a hot bath...

Such a silent pilgrimage had allowed her to observe her companions. She had learned a lot about them all, simply by watching them - listening to their conversations, seeing how they reacted to certain other members. There was definitely a closeness between certain individuals compared to others. It interested her. She had foreseen the fall out between the Khajit and the Imperial a mile off, too. Which added to her amusement even more so. One thing she had noticed was that Alim had not been doing so well. He was slower, strained. She guessed it would be something wrong with his back - perhaps his bones weren't correctly aligned. Now that they had time to wind down, she made a note to help him with it at some point. To crack it back into place. Perhaps if he was lucky she might save some of the lavender oil and rub him down. Perhaps. She rolled her eyes at the thought, he was a womaniser and it would be exactly what he would want - therefore he might pay a premium for the pleasure.

Gregor was still a person of interest on her radar. She had stayed her distance from him for now, but as with the others, she had observed. He had been quieter than her, it was a mysterious aura he had that held her interest, she even found herself almost attracted to him. He had large pockets - or at least, he might have in his near future.

Finally, her thoughts drifted back to the young orphan girl she had left behind. She felt an ache for the girl in her heart. It wasn't something she was used to, but she didn't fight it. The future of the child was now uncertain, like the fate of Tamriel. Uncertain.

Raelynn slipped into the hot bath, free of her torn and shredded clothes, free. The scent of lavender soothed her mind as well as her body and she scrubbed at her skin - rubbing away everything that had happened, letting it wash away, bringing back beauty in it's place. She was also able to wash her hair. The ritual was cathartic for her and with each rinse she felt more and more like herself, the weeping, weak woman from the refugee camp gone - Raelynn reappearing once again. She felt strong.

And she ate! She gave good coin to eat fine foods - the richness of it almost unsettled her stomach, but she persevered through it, feeding her soul the luxury it had been desperate for. The last step to reclaiming herself would be new clothing. She opted for a violet caped cloak, embellished with pieces of shell from the Anvil beaches, and with copper filigree around the shoulders. Hell, she even splashed out for new boots. The hike to Anvil had just about worn the soles of the last ones. She felt renewed, and strong. Thank goodness she could leave the group at last - maybe she would head back to High Rock.

She had made that note, however, to track down Alim and treat his injury. He might be surprised she knew - he had been doing his damnedest to hide it. An injury couldn't be concealed from a Doctor, though.
Thanks all for the sheets!

As I'm in Australia I'll be checking these tomorrow after work which I think for 'Muricans will be the morning of the 6th.

I was hoping to get the first post up today but I'll leave it for when I go through the sheets and we'll start the roleplay! WOOHOOOOOOOO
Luck is definitely on your side @BCTheEntity

This also leads quite well for us to collab if you'd still like! :)

Aeryn listened as much as she could to the back and forth of ideas and opinions. This was the thing about people when they congregated in such circles - no matter the race, age, or sex. Everyone had an opinion. Mostly, other opinions were wrong. Suddenly, the little Dorcha halfling had a turn of temper and felt herself getting annoyed - visually, she was annoyed too. She couldn't listen anymore, and off she walked.

She didn't even have a weapon - but yet she had found something rather attractive in those crossbows that the guards had been using when they entered. She wasn't a stranger to a bow and arrow - sure, in her last years the sword had been her weapon of choice but it was hardly practical for her to get up so close. Her sword was long gone now too. It was time to 'obtain' a new weapon the best way that she knew how. She was able to justify it in that Nicademus owed her one for being so terribly aggressive.

Stealing in daylight was new though. There was no darkness to shroud her - but this was such a small town that she could see from her first glance at the armoury that it was relatively unguarded. Just a man sat outside eating a bowl of broth. He looked half asleep. She smirked, and while the rest of the gang squabbled and discussed, Aeryn began scaling the inn to reach the roof. It was easy for her, she clasped at the stones which jutted out more and effortlessly made it to the top in a matter of minutes. Once atop the roof, she found there to be a long plank of wood, conveniently placed there. As if it were left for her. It did for a split second make her wonder if it was in fact a set up and she took sharp glances around her. Nothing.

This village would be doomed if the Dorcha did attack.

She grabbed the plank and slid it across the roof towards the upstairs window of the armoury. The plank was just the right size indeed. She moved so softly, like a cat across and ducked into the window - pulling the plank in with her. She sneakily made her way downstairs - her eyes taking in the sight of all of the weapons that were taken from the party yesterday - including the steel shortsword that she had handed over. Then, she looked at one of number of crossbows. Beautiful. She was having it.

She took one, and a holster too. She slid it over her shoulders, allowing her cape to cover it. It was hardly stealthy - she now looked more like a hunchback, but she smirked in a smug way. Knowing that she had gotten one over on Nicademus in a way. She pressed an ear to the door, and could hear the guard making his way back to the inn - his footsteps growing progressively quieter. She left via the door, but not before snatching up something else.....

In the time it had taken her to pilfer the weapon, the group were still talking among themselves, and Settionne was behaving strangely, drawing a circle around himself or something. She cocked her head to the side and watched with a smile. It seemed by the time sh caught up, they were going their separate ways. She wasn't entirely sure what the consensus wound up being, but she approached Settionne with a devilish grin, pulling from her cloak his confiscated bag of tricks, presenting it to him with much a smug glee.
