The elven woman watched the two humans just as closely as they watched her. They seemed cautious and untrusting of her, good. So they had sense, this was a good sign to Kenia. Humans new to this land should know not to trust anyone easily. "Apologies for my rudeness. My name is Kenia Biralei and I apologize, but you are quite a long way from home.” She began trying to explain to the two, realizing this wasn’t going to be an easy task.

She looked to the woman and realised that she had been injured, whether before being sucked into the rift or after she didn’t quite know. The man was asking if she had anything that could help and Kenia was already looking through her pouch on her hip and pulled a few things out. She slowly moved towards the two as she showed them she was only moving closer to help. She knelt down next to the woman, opposite to the man and being cautious of the vomit. ”Here chew on these. They are simply mint leaves, meant to help calm your stomach along with helping any headache you may have. Now let me take a look at your head.” She said as she handed the woman the leaves as she moved to examine the wound.

”This really isn’t an easy thing to explain, but I’ll do my best.” Kenia started to explain as she began cleaning the wound the best she could with what she had. ”You are now in a place called Avalia. Some incredibly powerful elves summoned you here in a desperate attempt to find help. Our world is in trouble, you see, as there is a...being and his minions that have cruelly ruled over us for a century now. Humans aren’t native to this plain of existence and that makes you-” She was cut off as she watched the dracolich break through the trees from above and her eyes widened.

”Help her to her feet, stay close together, and run. Don’t look back, just run as fast as you can! I’ll be right behind you.” She said as swiftly as she could to the man, a flash of fear in her eyes. She quickly moved to be between the dracolich and the humans, conjuring her magic as she did so. She sent a fierce blast of light at the monster before her, hoping that the humans obeyed her and ran so she could quickly follow.

A man lead a petite red haired woman in chains towards a pyre in the middle of town while the townsfolk stood aside and watched. Elsea looked around at all the people she’d known her entire life and sneered at them. Not a single one dared to make a move to help her, no instead they all looked at her in either fear or disgust. Anger bubbled up inside of her at the sight, if they thought she was a witch then she would be a witch. ”You’ll regret this, you’ll all regret this! I swear to you I will return! I dinnae kinn when, but I will make you pay for what ya have done! I place a curse on all of ya, on all of yer bairns, and yer children’s bairns! You will fall, Scotland will fall, and all for the atrocities you have committed!” She screamed at them all as the man leading her yanked the chains in hopes to silence her.

She fell to her hands and knees, feeling the gravel digging in deeply to her palms. The pain was quickly forgotten when the strangest sight appeared near her as a black hole opened up out of nowhere. There were gasps and screams as pure panic ensued and people fled. Elsea gasped as she was sucked through along with the man who’d been dragging her to the stake.

----

Elsea opened her eyes as she frantically looked around. She appeared to be in a forest of some sort, but nothing like the ones she was used to. Something was off about this place, but she couldn’t tell if it was in a good or bad way. She went to sit herself up when she realized her wrists were still chained and attached to her neck. She sighed in frustration until she heard a voice. “Ach...what in the hells?” The man who’d been leading her to her death sat up, seemingly completely dazed and confused as he looked around. He hadn’t noticed her quite yet and Elsea felt anger rise in her once more.

That’s when an idea struck her and she took the length of chain in her hands, silently moving towards the man. Quickly she acted, wrapping the chain around his neck and pulling as hard and as tight as she could. By some miracle she’d escaped the pyre and ended up in a forest, she’d be damned if she allowed this man to bring her back to be killed. He let out a small yelp before his airways were cut off and he began to struggle. Her palms burned from the previous cuts she’s acquired, but she held firm. His hand caught her across the face as his nails sliced down her cheek, but she didn’t care. She wanted-no, she needed this man dead and so she ignored any pain.

It took much longer than she anticipated, but soon the man went still and Elsea collapsed backwards out of exhaustion. Her hands were now a bloody mess while she could feel a tiny trickle of blood running down her face. She took a moment to catch her breath before it truly dawned on her that she’d just killed someone. Her heart began to race as panic set in, tears stinging her eyes as she quickly got to her feet and backed away from the man. She needed to get out of here, to get away from the body before someone or something found him. She quickly gathered the length of chain in her arms, gasping for breath as she started to hyperventilate. Soon she was frantically running through the forest, not paying any attention to her surroundings. That is until she came across a rather frightening sight.

There in front of her was a man using what looked like the earth as a sword and shield. There was a large fox like creature beside him while across from him was a pale man with pointed ears seated atop a large black cat. There were also two winged women off to the side. The strangest sight, however, was the vines that seemed to be alive and moving towards the pale elven man. This was all too much for Elsea as the panic took over and she let out an ear piercing, blood curdling scream.

Lor nodded in understanding as the woman began to heal her. She grimaced only slightly at the buning sensation, more distracted by the soft green glow surrounding her horns. She was quite intrigued by this woman and who, or more of what she was. Either way she was thankful for her help.

It wasn't until she felt the sharp pain of the arrow piercing her body again that she gasped and almost collapsed, yet held firm to Ram's horn. Sindra flinched at Lor's gasp of pain, swiftly moving her head to the other side of her to help hold her up. She hadn't even thought of the reaction, she just did it. It caused her to really think about what Ram was saying. "Hmm I suppose there could be some merrit to your words." She concluded as she realized that she had been forming a bond with this woman in the short while that she knew her.

The rumble that echoed through the place caused Lor to look up and around, distracting her briefly from the healing sensation. Sindra was also caught by surprise at the sound. "And what, pray tell, was that?

Lor was strangely grateful for Ram's help as she took his horn. "Thank you." She said between a grimace before looking over to the woman. The first thing she noticed about the woman was the horns, then her eyes. She couldn't stop herself from staring for a moment, never having seen someone who looked like this. What a peculiar group a people they were.

"By all means, if it means I'll be healed." She told the woman as she slowly moved and actually removed her shirt so the wound would be exposed better. She didn't even think about the fact that there were others in the room and even if she had she still had undergarments on so she wasn't completely exposed.

"We share a bond?" Sindra questioned quietly as she looked to Lor. Was such a thing really possible? Perhaps that's really why Sindra had decided to save her. It had just felt so natural to want to protect this woman. "I'm not even sure she would want to be my Rider. It seems she's quite afraid of flying." She informed the other dragon.
Sindra found it quite curious that the dragon called Ram seemed to respect this human. She, herself, often avoided contact with the humans and elves alike for fear of how they would treat her. She even feared enslavement to a point, yet as of tonight she found herself in the company of both an elf and a human. She was still alert, however she was finding it easier to trust Damien. "I cannot blame him for being protective." She said in response to Orian

She followed the group inside, glancing back at Lor on occasions to check on her. She definitely needed medical attention soon as she was looking quite pale for her complexion. She hoped this Kela person would be able to help her.

As they entered the common room Sindra's eyes locked on the hooded woman. "She is not my rider." Sindra said to the woman with a sigh. "I found the woman injured and decided I needed to help." She continued to explain.

Lor slowly began to move, deciding if best to now get off Sindra's back especially with her declaration. "And I will say I'm quite grateful to Sindra for helping me out." She said as she slowly slid to the ground. To late she realized this may have been a mistake as she found she was weaker than she thought and collapsed. "I swear I will find the man who shot me and I'm going to rip out his throat." She grumbled in irritation.
"If you say so." Sindra said with a nod as she followed Orian. She looked over the door as they approached, impressed by how well hidden it was. She could have easily walked passed it without ever being the wiser. That's when her eye locked onto the dragon she'd originally mistaken for a statue. Sindra became quite alert and watched this new dragon like a hawk.

"A friend of yours....I'm assuming?" Lor managed to say weakly as she looked over the new dragon and then looked to Damien. "As much as I'm enjoying meeting your friends, may I request...finding a place to lie down? I must say I'm feeling quite tired..." It was taking everything in her to not lie back on the saddle and go to sleep. Talking definitely seemed to be helping her.

It sometimes amazed Kenia how easy it was to gain someone's trust and get them talking. A few nights ago she'd found herself in a tavern in the Sun Elf Village, deciding that would be a good place to gather information. She'd heard a while ago whisperings of a rebellion and just recently heard of some plan they had. So that's how she found herself in the tavern, befriending a nervous looking elf in the corner. A few drinks, kind words, and a sad story soon had the elf talking. She discovered they were planning on bringing a group of humans to their world.

That's how she found herself where she was now, scouting the forest outside of the Sun Elf Village. The darkness of the night served her well is she was silently slinking through the trees. She glanced up at the stars through the canopy of trees when the ground began to shake violently. She gasped as she almost lost her footing, but managed to steady herself on a tree. What the hell was that? She thought to herself as she listened for any other danger. For a long moment she didn't hear anything. Just the sound of the trees swaying in the gentle breeze. Then she heard far off in the distance they faint howl of a creature. It wasn't quite near her, however she knew how quickly that could change.

Silently, Kenia started moving through the forest as she kept alert. A voice drew her attention and she altered her course to move in the direction of it. She remained hidden as she took in the scene before her. She saw a man, dressed in rather different clothing, talking to himself as he gazed around in what she assumed was confusion. He looked very similar to her kind, but one major difference stood out to her. His ears were rounded and she used this along with his demeanor to determine that this was one of the humans.

Another cry caught both of their attentions and the man took off running. Kenia followed, using the shadowing if the forest to keep her presence hidden. She came upon the man now nealt by what appeared to be a woman. Another human? How intriguing… She thought to herself as she soundlessly stepped out of the trees. "Really you mustn't be so loud. These woods can be quite dangerous, especially for your kind." She spoke as she pulled her hood off, revealing moon colored locks and delicately pointed ears. She held up her hands in a nonthreatening way, trying to insinuate that she meant them no harm. "It's lucky that I found you first." Kenia stated as she gave them both a friendly smile.
