If you run into flat earthers in an alleyway you just need to go around the corner and they'll stop following you.

Apollo is up! Thought we need a complete jerk!

Tempted to go knock him down a peg with a Lunar Eclipse.

Because Thoth considers this the half-time show at the superbowl game. Sort of.
@The Grey Dust I honestly thought that "Her Crap" was a joke about someone in your life.

What sort of presumptuous logic is this?

It's "Lord Krapp" in English but "Herr Krapp" in German :I I thought a more comically adversary would lighten things up this time. Because in the dossier it would read "Lord Erhard Krapp" and which all the stool softener jokes begins.
Couldn't wait for me eh? that's fine I'll do a retrospective post then, I was designing an encounter for us but I suppose you already have one mapped out. Bedivere will be out the picture for a bit here and I'll switch over to the other character I have soon enough.
Ok I'm good with this. Grey?

Very well I suppose.

Also, just a general vote here, we are planning to move things back into the U.S/ Solider Turf. Anyone have any objections? or would we prefer like a gm'd mini mission in Europe to stop a German Vampire named... Herr Krapp?
@The Grey Dust

Yeah sorry about that. Was a really busy day, was typing it up on my phone at work.

All is well.

Hopefully we don't mind me showcasing Thoth's powers. I hope it ties in the two separate events slightly enough to suggest the premise of the plot.

@Zahrale Good luck with that. You would be hard pressed to cheat Thoth, because Thoth by being Thoth can out cheat the cheat <_> He did after all somehow win a gamble against the moon and took a portion of its light to create 5 more days evidently <_> Hence his title the King of Games.
The Scribe

Two projections. A conversation within the mind itself, as one was laid forth before the other. It was the beauty of the written word, for it could be distributed, recorded, eternal. Written upon papyrus to be spread throughout the libraries. Carved upon stone to last the centuries. Or Etched into the sand to be such a fleeting secret message that would scatter in the desert winds. And as Set's whisper presented itself upon the sands of the underworld, the voice of the mocking outcast, Thoth had bowed his head before Osiris who had appeared just as well to witness judgment upon this soul. And see the failures of the voice? The tongue was capable of lying, such was the sinister fact of speech as it flies twisting itself upon the language of words. Crafting them with impurities of the tainted heart such that even those sacred words may yet lie. But write down these confessions, a written testament to behold, the law was clear and who was it who wrote the Law?

A wave of his hand, a stroke of his fingers, then before Set his reply returned back for magic shall beget magic. Fools favor flattery. Such is the paradox: The Red Sand seeks action rather than words, so he comes to the Lord of Words for action? Bitter is the one who cares for worship and praise, when their temples and shrines are defiled, Angered is he to watch his faithful persecuted and enslaved, so he comes to the Scribe for Counsel. Look to skies, Lord of Red Lands, behold my works, and know that it is time. Written upon the fine grain sand on which the dead kings played chess upon, set before Set the written words of Thoth. Did the god forget that no thoughts are safe from Thoth? He who embodies knowing in itself? For Ma'at knew the heart well, but Thoth knew the mind best. Even the Gods were not beyond his grasp, for in the very process of Set's plan to goad him into action with Words, Thoth had gazed into the mind of Set to view into the nature of his words. And the message should suffice to be a reminder for Set to be far more straightforward in the future, as well as a message to tell Set that the Voice of Ra himself believed it was time to act at last. Lasting no more, the message was erased as quickly as it was written, scattering to the winds.

"It is time." Thoth's reply to Osiris, far less convoluted or perhaps patronizing than the one to the last god. "There is another Underworld which holds another meeting. Another God who acts like fate speak with the Godking of the Underworld. This I know for I am Thoth. For it is not seclusion when one is part of the universe, and I have merely bided my time. The game continues once more, and I have come to claim my pieces. O, Lord of the Dead, will you not play Senet?" The Phantom Queen and Plutus, who would have thought? Thoth did. And made plans for this day, a day where the queen shall play pawn in this gambit. Yet if it was clear to Thoth, his plan was made unclear to others, speaking only in parts of the greater design. The question becomes if Osiris could pick up on Thoth's advice fast enough.

For the living could worship their gods of choice, but the dead could only bow before one Lord...

It appears I am stuck.
Well that was rather disappointing. One moment you're shopping up a marketplace hoping to get some action, and the next, well you're getting assassinated. Not that the assassination was the disappointing part, but the fact that some bloke just froze the girl you're working to bed with. Really? In truth Eden would have loved an assassination attempt, it would mean that he was still important enough to warrant dead. Of which this latest attempt was met with a disappointed sigh as the blue-haired man took care of it before he even felt the knife in his back. See the trick Eden had up his sleeve was his stone-hard scales, slightly more difficult to deal with as it was akin to wearing a layer of chainmail at all times. It was also similarly weighed, hence his agility was quite surprising for his weight-class, although a good amount of physical activity, and other physical activates kept Eden fit and nimble, for both himself and the ladies. Maybe the assassin would have gotten a hit or two in, but certainly wouldn't be enough to keep him down, not without a fight. Besides he had his latest golden girl to patch him up... And then some.

"Well you're no fun at all." Eden frowned at the stranger too late to stop him from freezing Astrea, "And why would I have guards? I can take care of myself. Now, where did you want this dagger?" A mischievous smile suggested Eden was not above sticking it in Mirror. Hopefully the ice spell was temporary, if not he was almost certain he could get someone to undo the effects. He had picked up the dagger, or rather kicked it up, sliding his left foot across the blade as he drew it closer and shifted his weight such that the blade laid over his right foot before jerking his ankle and knee up to send the knife skyward. The trick was catching it with his hand when it reached the proper level, a move not done to simply showboat, but also to check just how dangerous the edge was as he paid no mind to gripping the falling dagger by the blade, straddling the hilt with the rest of his hand.

And this was when Eve decided to pipe up, uncurling herself from around his neck to berate Eden a bit, and probably converse with Mirror who had defend Eden from this attack. "Eden, be nice, he saved you from possible harm." A smart retort from the boy about her saying that about the last dozen girls he was with, as the dragon had called them harmful to him. She replied by clawing his neck, just at the Adam's apple. Again her claws would do hardly anything against his scales, but he'd definitely feel her effort. "Look, what I mean to say is that he helped you out so you should be more thankful, and she was bad for you anyways. And I'm more than just his friend thank you. Isn't that right Eden?" Her tone was slightly annoyed at Mirror's accusation, as if she was Eden's only friend or something.

"Some help he was, now we have no idea who wants me dead because he scared them off and they got away. Nice going Blue." Eden was technically correct in his logic. Now he has to continue to watch his back, rather than knowing who it was that wanted him dead, and thus how to devote resources in to stopping this. Yet word of his Mother's most recent death had yet to happen. Thus he was blissfully unaware of trouble back home. Or rather in this case abroad. "Of course Eve, you're my loyal companion, and personal assistant, Oh and also my constant bodyguard." Said with a cheeky wink are her despite her feigned anger it certainly touched her when he didn't say pet.

"Now then, unless you planned the entire attack to get into my good graces, I think you owe me a bit of fun don't you?"
@The Grey Dust

That's some heavy lore you're spitting. I'll get a future post written up for when he is done at that shrine and post afterwards.

Most Excellent.
@Severe Triage

Ossy will have some Company waiting for him if and when he returns to his throne in the Underworld.

Also it seems Thoth is probably the most level-headed of the Egyptian gods so far...
