Actually Wicked isn't "very good", rather quite the opposite really if you think about it.

Interacting with: Ntaj, Calanon & A tree?

If a tree falls down in the centermost of the forest,
And there are none to witness an event occur,
Does the tree actually fall down?
If none are present to record this simple truth,
Then is such an event a falsehood?
For if neither you nor I could confirm the tree had fallen,
we may only look at what was and the outcome.
And from the past observation and current ones, we bridge the gap between.
Missing information is presumed, filled in, perceived, conceived, deceived.
And that is why reality is a falsehood.
We are so far removed from the truth of all events which happen, for even in the moments they occur,
Our minds live in the past for it takes the scant moments for the thought to process what was.
Thus it is reality, that is the greatest lie of all.
There is no tree, there is no forest,
There is no sound, there is nothing.
Outside my mind, nothing exists.

Cyneburg was a correct, ideally only one person was needed to go fetch a chief. A chief who stayed back in the cave in the kerfuffle. "Thanks... That means a lot... Thomas mentioned to Calanon, unless of course they were speaking to Ntaj earlier. Not that elks speak, but Calanon seemed to strongly associated with his animal friend. Just like the rest of the party, someone had a horse, a cat, a wolf, a bird. All Thomas needed to bring was some sort of magical fish.

"Hey Ntaj, if Cyneburg's going without some backup, maybe uh, you should stay here? Just in case they uh... Thomas didn't quite want to say what was hopefully implied. His hesitancy of course weighed carefully, but what if the Orcs decided to blame the group? It wouldn't do well to lose both translators in one fell swoop. Not that Thomas wanted Cyneburg to go alone, but one single party member shouldn't be too much of a threat to an orc warlord chief person thing. Not that Thomas has dealt with the being in question personally, but Cyneburg was indeed the wiser on both counts. "And if trouble does come, I've only got two spells left, we could use another set of eyes and some uh, muscle."

That last bit came out a bit awkwardly. Almost certain Thomas paused there a bit too long for a comma. Not quite long enough for a ellipses, but definitely a tiny bit longer than he ought to given the punctuation. Thomas didn't really expect trouble coming back again, True dawn was approaching and with it, his need to meditate once more to regain his spells. Either way Thomas stared down at a suitable tree for climbing, opposite of Lerraina's to some extent, perhaps off parts of a radian. It had been quite sometime since Thomas climbed trees, not usually something he did in the party, yet Maybe he'd be able to get up there without making too much of an embarrassing moment for himself. He did after all somewhat wanted to show Ntaj his faith in Thomas wasn't a bad call.

"Right, try not to kill me." Thomas patted the tree, almost begging his request as he attempted to hop up onto one of the boughs and liberally hug a tree. Definitely not good for his robes.
@Lady Amalthea

Hrm. Idk then. I think IC'ly Thomas would just go with Ntaj.
His only approachable friend at this point. He wouldn't want to say "No thanks I think I'll stay here."
It would be sort of rude, and Thomas isn't really in Star Phase, plus he'd hate to turn Ntaj on him too.
I think I'll have to go with whatever consequences happen. Probably not OOC'ly the best course of action, but it is to the character.
I mean I do like his design, but I have to play him as he is, a masterless apprentice trying to make this whole adventuring thing work.
In Sun phase after all he's more rash, so I think he'd try and see that it'll all work out somehow as compared to the more calculating phases of moon and star.

Maybe if the orc guards stop him from entering in the cave probably would work and Thomas would be barred from entry.
Or Maybe they think he's the necromancer or something given the robes and they attempt to kill him for all their dead.
Something like that, either way I accept the outcome of Thomas' perhaps unwise actions ^_^

EDIT: Oh and it looks like I do have to seeing how the next post is up XD
@Lady Amalthea

Yes, I think he understood 5 at least, not sure of the others. The spell is useable within the hour and can be triggered when he takes injury. So as of now the wall is standing :). I'm not sure if they are going out or not, I thought Ntaj was leaving the camp to go deeper into the cave or something to find the chief? Since there is a wall of ice currently blocking their escape out of the camp into the haunted acre woods.

Hence Thomas is following along (to get away from Kyra/Keystone out of fear and Sana/Satilla out of guilt). Points 1 and 2 also chalked up to Thomas just going along with Ntaj's suggestion, unsure how that would be taken into account.

Maybe he'll suggest Cyneburg to come with? Which would be the only edit I think I'll do. Thanks for the intellect check however. I was rather confused IC'ly myself regarding the actions but assumed the chief was inside, deeper in the cave. Ice wall was not going to be melted, and no one was leaving tonight at least.

Interacting with: Ntaj, Lerraina

The thing about magic is that once prepared, there was no turning back. Once the energies were focused and spent, once primed and readied, the spell drained itself from his body. Trembling as Thomas felt the surge of power rushing in his blood to the hand which encircled. He had planned to melt part of the ice wall to leave. He didn't belong here. Not at this rate, making enemies left and right. Yet it seemed Ntaj had stopped him. And so too did Lerraina's words which warned him of the undeaded outside. Yes undeaded, since moments ago they were merely dead, and only recently turned undead, hence undeaded. As opposed to undeaded in the sense that they were overrun by the undead, which to an extent would also apply earlier. Orcs for skeletons it seems according to the Lerraina.

"But... I'm sure I'd only... Thomas spoke out Lerraina and lowered his casting arm, as Ntaj approached with wiser counsel. "I... I guess... If you think it'll help. I mean I've earned the ire of quite a few people..." At least it seem Thomas still had some friends, or at least people willing to be friendly like this half-orc who gave him his stick. Not in that way. Although he did have a cutting figure. A friendlier sort like Satilla he interacted with earlier. Although poor Satilla Thomas probably made her job harder. Nearly killing Sana and all. Maybe he should go with Ntaj who seemed to be gathering up a party per Kyra's instructions to find the chief. And evidently she'd probably kill Thomas for punching a hole in this ice wall anyways since evidently it was the only thing keeping the undead out. And frankly all of them in...

"R-r-right... Uh. I've got a few minutes on this spell..." Thomas sputtered as Ntaj invited him a way far away from this place. That or to be executed should Kyra's 'find the chief' really mean 'take the mage out the back and butcher him.' He three spells left, one he'd rather not use, and one prepared that needed to be used soon. Maybe Ntaj could teach Thomas some rudimentary melee? That way he could be more useful in a scuff? Maybe bashed a few baddies with a stick? Poke them at least? "Uh... Okay, thank you Ntaj... Thanks for believing in me more than I do."

A slight chuckle and smile at that last statement before Thomas followed Ntaj to find the chief. Maybe he'd learn some orcish along the way.

"Do you think it'd be a good idea to have uh... Cyneburg come along too?" Thomas suggested, somewhat trying to recall everyone's names. He hadn't too much interaction with the druid, but remembered during his tirade of stars that Cyneburg did serve as translator before, although of course Kyra and Keystone were the ones to meet with the chief, but perhaps they'd understand that they were busy right now plotting how to kill Thomas or something. "Uh not that I think you couldn't uh Translate, just maybe more Orc-kin might be better in the party? I mean I'd just shut up and be quiet myself, I'll let you two uh... You could introduce me as your manservant or something or other... Yeah..."
Necromancers were the first recyclers.
@Lady Amalthea

Oh it's not that. I assure you.
Our 1x1 was a matter of time and commitments, I couldn't quite satisfy.
To which I still do regret it had happened, but I think 7 days-10 days per 1x1 post and an inability to hammer out good plotlines wouldn't sit to well with you at the time. Again, my apologies for it, even now I'm just barely hanging on with the RPs here.

I'm fine with everyone OOCly and I do appreciate everyone giving me options.
I just find it exceedingly hard to reason ICly why Thomas should stay.
It's a OOC-IC dilemma, on one hand yes I do realize Thomas has options, but Thomas doesn't realize this ICly.
So I'd have to give him a reason to stick around without transcending his character.

It's a bit of his own guilt added to it as well I suppose.
Which makes it even harder, despite what options are provided.
I'd have to have Thomas somehow think himself a contributing party member after Kyra sort of broke it to him.
So he's doing more harm than good at this point and reasons they are better off without him :)

Either way, I do enjoy roleplaying with everyone here.
It's a battle of Character vs Roleplayer :X
@Sigil

It's much less of being accepted but rather not feeling threatened.
I don't think he'd feel rather safe after all the antics which occurred.
Given that Kyra just stated she'd personally rip his throat out, and Keystone's been in a tussle with Thomas before, I don't think he'd be too keen on getting killed in his sleep. Which may occur as far he knows since after all this is their first night/dawn together I think.
Honestly not sure what to do since IC'ly Thomas would probably leave.
@IcePezz

Eh I don't think he'd do too well with 3 of the big party members breathing down his neck and ready the rip his throat out.
Although Thomas might be able to remove the ice wall with a fire-based spell.

It could have gone better. Much better. Or much worse. It appeared Thomas' attempt to help was honestly inept at best. Or rather since he's not quite proficient in the medical arts, this was not part of his magical education. That being said, an attempt was better than none or at least in his mind at the time. Against perhaps the wisdom or aloofness that Star phase would have brought or the shyness Moon Phase would have brought. It would seem, Sun phase was lacking in better judgment. To which what was done was done, and no one had chance to stop him before it was too late. Strange that no one had tried, perhaps everyone was just adjusting to their battle roles from earlier. One that, Thomas could contribute little to unless people wanted to end up being caught in the very spells he used against the enemies. Which to be fair was very hard to with all the melee combatants.

But it seems the fates were kind to Sana, as the fluids rolled down, trickling like envious death down into her airways. Sure some did manage to go down the esophagus, minding the viscosity and specific gravity of a thick fluid, but that alone did not stop the glottis from being open and gravity to slowly roll the potion down her bronchus. And those cartilaginous rings which made soft noises as Thomas felt them at this fingertips, having attempted to manipulate them out of the way of the fluid's roll. Alas, nothing seemed to help regardless and suddenly everyone was interested in Sana who presently began to cough up and choke on the emerald potion.

Well that was a relief, Thomas didn't accidentally kill her. Then again only half the party seemed to understand what was going on, and said half was all gathered around Sana. Including Thomas, Kyra, Satilla, Keystone, and animals. The others, well they seemed to be around. Oh and Sana was still choking on something as the fluid reached her lungs. A case of accidental pulmonary edema from 100mls of potion, split between its actual intended target and the lungs. Although should it reach all the way to the level of the alveoli, Sana would not be in the best of shape even with her consciousness partially restored, and the potion kicking up her sympathetic to paradoxically causing an amount of distress given her current state of respiratory distress. Fortunately the ventilation perfusion mismatch seemed to be in relative balance given that she had not completely expired by now, but these precious seconds tick away as Thomas slowly backed away, letting Satilla and Keystone, and Kyra take over. He's probably done enough.

"Oh No, I'm sorry I didn't mean to... I... Yes, clearly Thomas wasn't really winning anyone over, not after two escapades. "I was just trying to help I..." Maybe he was better off making himself scarce. They were about three breaths short of gutting Thomas right now out of righteous fury. They were probably better off without him. Most likely, they didn't seem to need an offensive spellcaster. No they had enough utility casters, the group dynamics made it apparent. Thomas was the odd one out, and thus, he made his mind to just... Leave before things get worse.

"I'm sorry, I really am, I... I should just go... I'm sorry everyone... I'll... I'll leave the group immediately... I'm sorry... It was an accident..." Backing out of the circle towards the ice wall which prevented him from leaving just so. A solar flare spell would probably be able to melt this wall down. And thus with a movement of his hand Thomas prepared his third to last spell of the day...
@Lady Amalthea@Sigil

I think at this point We ought to just kill off Thomas.
He's earned the ire of quite a few prominent party member.
There's little reason for him to continue with the group.
Else I could have Thomas apologize and just leave.

Which might be the best the could do at this point.
