I just realized the nearest town is 20 miles away and it takes 30 minutes to walk there.

I was thinking about that too. The closest town is twenty miles so our characters will be walking a long time to the nearest town. If it is a flat road that isn't really steep or hilly there and back, it would take around 6 hours to walk. If it is steep or hilly at all, it's more like 9 or 10 hours to walk there.

What a weekend in town. It makes it a special occasion for sure. Haha!

I believe that most role-plays, particularly public group role-plays, do not require a rating higher than TV 14/PG 13 (am I setting this as a hard limit? No. Just a reference point), regardless of the characters' ages. That is why the term "fade to black" exists. Yes, a character can engage in sexual situations or situations involving drugs and alcohol at any age. Minors in high school regularly participate in such activities, but does it need to be explicitly written? No. It can be referenced without going into fine detail about the setting/scene/situation.

1 I tend to play older characters, but I do not have a set preference on age. I believe the age of characters only really sways my writing in the sense of romantic interests which I usually never plan for anyways. I’ll probably be playing at least a character in their mid-twenties if that is allowed - edit - (unless this is a high school themed aspect then I'll play an older teen in that sense. I probably should have made that distinction when writing this earlier.

2 The rough idea of your combat was something that interested me. It didn’t feel too light or too heavy for role-play. I love combat when it comes to tabletop games like D&D and I don’t mind combat in writing either. I would say, if you start going too heavy with modifiers (skills/abilities) along with dice the role-play is going to feel like it belongs in the tabletop section of the forum.

3 I personally do not mind filling out NPC information or playing NPCs (mine or someone else’s) as long as they have personality traits/habits that I can follow. I tend to RP as multiple characters even in one-on-ones so I am very flexible. I have to say I really do not have a preference if we do or don’t in the sense.

4 In my opinion, I am flexible. I tend to play “darker” or “complex” characters in the sense of how people describe them. I do not mind the plot going from dark and angsty to light and fluffy. I would say that I enjoy the flow of writing out naturally with the emotions and situations characters are feeling with the intrusions of plot points/events.

5 I really have nothing to put right here that would make any sense because my brian is everywhere while trying to think of a character. Haha!

My favorite… characters from anime would have to be Ouni from “Children of the Whales”, No Face from “Spirited Away”, and Joker & Benimaru Shinmon from “Fire Force”.
