Alex has always been a loner, a quiet and at times shy person. Someone that values his time alone though he can be social when he feels like it. Thus, he did not have many friends growing up in Philadelphia and even fewer when he moved to Walson. Not that he minds having fewer friends, but he does enjoy good company from time to time. And tends to be loyal to his friends.
He dislikes being put on a pedestal and absolutely hates being compared to his genius sister. Knowing that he can not get on her level and always knowing that her accomplishments will always outdo his. And his parents not caring or noticing how this affects him and treat her as the clear favorite child of the family. Causing a rift between the two siblings that is barely noticed by her and at times gets angry about the whole situation.

Background
Alex was born in Philadelphia and is the youngest of two. His father a writer, and his mother a doctor. Growing up, Alex had always been in the shadow of his genius older sister. Always falling short of what his sister could do despite his own talents. Causing a rift between the two siblings that his parents and his sister did not notice as they paid only some attention to him as his sister got most of their attention. Alex realizing that he can not change this despite his best efforts, reluctantly settling into this state of affairs. However, he would not stop him from being angry about the situation.
By the time both of them reached high school. His parents wanting a break from the busy city life decided on moving to his father's hometown of Walson. Alexander was less than eager to make the move and hated that he had to move away from what little friends he had. Either way, Alex would come to like the small town of Walson. The scenery, the people, and how peaceful it was compared to Philadelphia. Still, his situation with his parents and sister did not change, and Alex started to isolate himself from his family.
When his sister finally left for college when Alex was halfway throughway high school. Did his parents start to care and give him more attention, to Alex's surprise and, though he did enjoy it. He knew it was only because his sister was finally gone and not because he had done something to gain their attention, which made it a bittersweet experience for him.
Now his senior year, Alex is pondering what to do after high school. He did not care that he can not be as good as his sister. Not alot could, and just wants to do what he wants to do. Excel his way, and if his parents are not welcoming to it or ignore him, then that is their problem. Not his and unknown to him, his last year of high school will be one to remember.

Numbering at 2,752, it is situated in upstate New York in the Adirondack Mountains. Located between the village of Lake Placid and the town of Elizabethtown. Surrounded by forests and mountains. Walson, despite being a small village, does quite well for itself. The town is surprisingly wealthy given its size. The people there do not have to worry about much, and most have luxuries. Though travel to the village can be somewhat accessible due to being in the Adirondack Mountains, despite what the town offers, camping, hiking, rock climbing, and more. Tourists often passed it over to the other settlements in the region. Opting to stay at the more famous and well-known settlements in the region, like Lake Placid or Saranac Lake. But the village does offer accommodations to tourists who do decide to stay in the village. Either way, the village, a hidden gem, is a good place to live for its residents and for those who like the peace and quiet to the backdrop of the Adirondack Mountains.
In the emptiness of the void, there was something floating in the void. A black and blueish white hooded robe. Made of an unknown material and looking new yet worn in. As the call by the Khodex echoed throughout the void. A sound, a heartbeat, a pulse started to echo in the robe.
As the calling grew stronger, so did the pulse, and blue energy started to form inside the robe. Weak at first, but with each pulse, it grew brighter and brighter. Bright enough to glow through the robe and illuminate the area around it. Until the blue energy spread throughout the robe and, soon, a shape started to form. The pulsing growing stronger as the blue energy coalesced into a form, and with one final pulse and bright blue flash. A new being was created, as the light receded as soon as it was made.
Now, blue orbs appeared where its eyes would be, and the figure now awakened. It could feel the Khodex calling to him and without saying anything. It followed the call to its source, and he would find a being nearby, and while he wished to see who this was. The Khodex was his main focus, and so he would approach it and, after seeing what the others had written in it. He felt compelled to add his own and simply added what felt natural to him, what he felt should be added.
Voi, a name he would call himself, as that felt right to him. He would add that all living things have a soul, and there would be an abundance of them. So, there would not be any limit on how many souls there would be.
After adding that, Voi was content and left the Khodex. Now, departing to explore the planet that was nearby and see who else was near.
Voi is created in the Void in the remains of a godly robe and sets off to the Khodex. After finding it and adding his part to it, he heads off to explore the nearby Galbar.

What is a soul? A question that has evaded scholars and priests for a millennium. But, a soul is simply one's essence, intangible immortal energy that all living and sometimes nonliving things have and can not live without. Energy that is created from nothing and is given a body to inhabit once it has the spark of life. Which even nature has a soul. Or souls as you will and even souls manifest in areas that are either sacred or something important happened there.
Once the body has died, it will move on to the afterlife where it will stay there for all eternity. Unless they are reincarnated which is presented in some souls found in nature and to those souls who are worthy of a second chance in life to make amends for their sins in their past life. As long as the natural order of life and death remains in balance.
Few have power over souls like Voi does and make sure that souls go where they need to go. Though if he wanted to, he can influence where a soul goes along with having power over a soul, either it be in a live body or dead. Able to manipulate them with great effect though this is something that Voi only does if needed. Along with being able to create a soul and thus create life but, only when he has a purpose in mind for it. Or even bring the dead back to life but, there has to be a good reason for it.
When it comes to ghosts, those souls who refused to move on. Voi has power over them as well. Though most of the time, he will try and peacefully help the soul move on, and if that does not work. He will force the transition.
A hooded figure where you cannot see his face, only darkness and only able to see two bright blue lights where his eyes should be. His robes being black and blueish white, with the lower half being black and, his sleeve, hood, and part of the upper part being blueish white. The robes themselves are plain though seem ancient to the eye. His hands when shown are covered with gray bandages that never come off. Though sometimes you can see a faint blue light coming from underneath.
Description
The middle man of life and death, Voi can be seen as a watchman. Silent but ever-present, steadfast in his duties. Despite his passive nature of watching and maintaining the flows of souls between life and death. He still has an interest in the mortal realm. Watching events from afar or in mortal form. Sometimes interfering in events if he deems it something important.
As deep down, Voi is a kind and thoughtful god. One normally on the sidelines but, will jump into the frontline if he feels he needs to. For Voi has morals, and greatly values life, despite his role. He is not the one to ignore tragedies or massacres and not one to let one suffer unless you really piss him off. Voi sees the living as something as precious and not something to be tossed away carelessly. Something to be watched over and sometimes guided from evil when needed.
Acting as a friendly and warm to those he likes or calls friends. To those that he feels negative about and you will find a cold and distant Voi. Disrupt the flow of souls or do something such as someone mortal or not committing necromancy and you will find an angry Voi. He will intervene.

Overview
Hello and welcome to the rp. So in this rp, you will be playing a member of the Freerunner group, the Crows. A Freerunner group offers their services to other Freerunners by doing missions for other Freerunner groups that have a problem that they cannot do on their own or doing missions for a nearby Freerunner settlement that keeps them supplied with food and some other supplies.
The RP is set in the former United States, specifically the eastern half of Tennessee, though during the rp we may go beyond that.
Also, if you desire, there is an option to have your own personal side arc for your character. It would be set in between missions and we can discuss it either here, in discord or through PMs if you desire.
So I am looking for 6-8 players and when it comes with making your character. You have the freedom to when it comes to making your character as long as it makes sense that they are with the Crows. Also if you want, you can add to the lore and make your own. Again, as long as it makes sense and fits with what I have already.
Crows's Nest
The Crow's Nest is an abandoned outpost that has been repurposed into a base/home for the Crows. It has what the Crows need to survive and thrive. Personal rooms for each member, a kitchen, a garage for two vehicles, storage, an infirmary, two bathrooms, a meeting room, a dining room, an armory, a security room, and a power room(where the batteries are stored) on the inside.
On the outside, there is a garden and a training area, some turret defenses, and a metal wall that surrounds the base with two watch towers. That is a gate that leads out of the base and a hidden tunnel that leads out of the base and in the direction of the nearby settlement if the situation calls for it.
The Crows's Nest is powered primarily by solar power with four batteries to store the excess power for nighttime, and the group's two vehicles are both electric.
Wasteland
It has been 350 years since the Flash ended the world. While it is called the wasteland, it is anything but barren. Because nature has since largely recovered and taken over what remains of the old world. However, there are still some places that remain barren and toxic to humans. But that is not to say the wasteland is a peaceful place. Mutants and raiders dot the landscape and make living in the wasteland a challenge. But still, Freerunner settlements persist despite the danger and help to make the wasteland livable.
