So this is where life is taking me, was the thought on Malcolm's mind as he gazed at the calm ocean. Feeling relaxed and calm, watching the ocean as they neared his destination. From the wastelands of Utah to the Aloha Isles. Something if you asked him years ago where he would be, he would never have guessed this. Heck, leaving Utah was a big change for him already, and now he can say he visited a place he had never heard of until recently. Still, the experience so far has been good, a bit boring, but boring is better than nothing right now. No fights, drunken brawls, or any reason to show people he can handle himself.
Malcolm's right hand was firmly on his satchel despite feeling relaxed He is still on guard duty for he is going to deliver this package and so far. No problem, no one has to steal it, though Malcolm has kept a firm watch over it ever since leaving Utah.
But as he continued to watch the ocean, he could not help but overhear a conversation near him.
“ My wife broke up with me on this cruise! We were together for years. Years!” The man sobbed and leaned onto the newscaster, holding the newscaster hostage with the strength of thirty vodka shots that had been taken over the course of several hours. “ You tell me something! What does a fuckin’ protectron have over me? Was I just not good enough for her? I helped out, you see. I helped out with the mortgage. I paid my fair share! That bucket of bolts never did anything but just lie in the basement but noooooo, she says that it’s got more personality than me. Me? Me….”
Malcolm turned his head to the man and the reporter for a moment and slowly sighed. He was not sure if he should feel bad for the drunken man or not. Since if your wife leaves you for a robot... clearly you are not doing something right. Losing a partner is hard, but losing for the protection of all things is new to him, and now Malcolm knows of another weird thing in the wasteland. Well, maybe the drunken man can find someone in the Aloha Isles once he sobers up, that is.
That was when he spotted another interviewee, a vault dweller by the looks of it. The jumpsuit and Pipboy were the clear indicators of that. Malcolm has met vault dwellers before, but those were during his... lost years, and he would rather forget about that. Though he hopes they are doing okay since their escape from his old raider camp.
But it looks like the reporter was heading to him now and asked the same thing. Apparently, already done with the vault dweller.
“ Hi, Sam from California Channel 89! We’re broadcasting live to California now. If you don’t mind, could you tell our viewers at home about what made you come onto the Aloha Isles?”
While Malcolm would have preferred not to say anything and just keep quiet. He decided to humor the reporter.
"Well, I am here to deliver a package to someone on the Aloha Isles. As one last favor, I owe to the people who saved me from raiders back on the mainland. So, I guess you can call me a courier, and I am keen on making sure this package reaches its recipient. After that, who knows really."
"Good, good Jeff and nice to hear," Isaac said with relief as he learned that everything is going well. At least it looks like today at the Twin Seasons will be going off as normal. Everyone is here, and it looks like today will be a normal day at the Twin Seasons. No one is sick, so he does not have to worry about that bug showing up in the city right now. Isaac is in his element now, and it's time to start the day right and without worry.
Isaac turned to Kali and took a minute to think before responding to her. "Hmmm, I think the specials today will be the Lobster Tails, Hangtown Fry, Crab Cake, and the She-Crab Soup. I have noticed that people have been eating less seafood here, so maybe they will eat more today, and hopefully, they will try the She-Crab Soup, so we do not run out of matzo ball soup so fast." Yeah today is feeling like a good day again.
Standing at 5’6” with a slender build, Lou wears his black hair relatively long and loose. A nose dominates his otherwise sparse face while facial hair proves an impossibility for the man, cut away as it were by the frown lines which now marr it. His eyes, a deep enough brown to be mistaken for black, are often closed in thought. A number of scars are notable about his body, primarily cuts, to which he has not put the effort into in order to remove by less natural means. Lou does have a good, light step compared to a great many others, though by any measurement he does take the effort to cast prior to anything requiring such a light step.

Personality
Intense, introspective, and motivated with few equals, Lou is fervently dedicated towards his own goals; he believes that God has called upon him to help mankind, that he must find the lost, heal the sick, and likely arrange many meetings with the sinners to the lord. To this end, he is more than willing to break any number of manmade laws should they not violate his own personal ethics. Self control in the face of that which violates his morals is difficult, yet can be done for the sake of the continuance of that work; God helps those who help themselves, Lou believes, and thus will not save one who is careless or relies unduly upon his aid. He does not, however, preach often as a realization has dawned upon the man that those who act in accordance to the will of the lord shall be saved, and those who do not shall be damned. The belief is, as far as Lou’s determination, not necessarily required.

Background
Born in Verteillac, France as a SINless child, Lou’s family largely worked among the rest of the rural population as agricultural workers in the countryside. Subsisting off of this work and a good enough barter system among the commune, which by and large had grown distant from the normal prejudices which marked between those who had SINs and those who did not. They all went to church and, small and heretical as may be, that church espoused that all were equal under God. His life in this, which would have struggled throughout under any normal circumstance, would be drastically altered by the intervention of a traveler.
The old man, dressed as he was in a suit and tie, took notice of Lou immediately. He spoke privately to the boy's parents, as he wasn't of a great age to be given the choice directly, and after an hour's conversation emerged to talk to Lou. There was a choice to be had, a place to go that would teach him how to use a power he didn’t even know he had. It was a curious choice, the capability to wield the Art, one that inspired terror and confusion and questions to Lou. Not a person forgot the stories of the chaotic years when magic was birthed onto the world stage, a grand force, a strange force, and yet the old man gave a great number of answers and a great number of them were satisfactory for the young French boy. In the end, he departed with the man away to the Massif Central region, to a lodge there, to the Order of St Flamel.
He would learn the Art, the way to determine the world and all things in it, the way to learn how to seek hidden truths. The Order, named for that famed scholar of ancient times, was one dedicated to the seeking of knowledge, had never precisely focused on the most combative forms of magic, on evocation and destruction, Lou instead becoming immersed in divination, healing. It was a rewarding experience, a grand experience, one where he was even provided with a far greater education than anyone else might have in his hometown. The young boy learned of history, science, mathematics, and more, a fairly good event. The worst issue at that lodge would be the harsh punishments, the fairly breakneck pace, which pushed Lou to his limits of absorbing such. Despite all these difficulties, however, he would gain a good degree of respect from his teachers, the same given to them, and grew close as might be expected with one Nathan Milhaud, the very man who recruited him. Lou would even be provided for a cheap SIN, fake as could be in the interests of keeping loyalty through other means should the child run-off or disappear some way.
At the age of seventeen, however, Lou experienced something which could only be described as an upturning of his life. He had been directed to recover some reagents among the mountainside, flowers connected to one spirit or another of nature, and on returning found that the lodge had turned to chaos. A fire engulfed half of it, the other drifting amid the air as though gravity itself ignored it, and a storm seemed to linger over the entirety of the site. Bounding forth, extinguishing a portion of the fire to gain entry - for there was none outside and he had to rescue those within - Lou found Shedim, agents of another plane who had taken the bodies of members of the Order to disrupt a ritual. Entranced as they were in further opening the rift and bringing yet more Shedim into the world, Lou struck quickly. Using whatever was nearby, reagents of vintages he had never learned and those he had collected before, it soon turned into a desperate combat as the spirits realized what was occuring. The young mage succeeded in keeping their distraction, true, keeping them from continuing their work with the rift, though he was pushed back and back again. Soon yet, he found the dying Milhaud, bloodied and faltering, who gave Lou a hand in burning his soul into a reagent. The young mage detonated it, ran from a lodge that no longer existed.
There was but one thing to do, honoring the ultimate sacrifice of his friend and mentor by helping others, by using what he had been taught for others. As he worked away, moving from one commune to another to another and healing any he could, Lou found that he would need a far better disguise than any excuse he might bear. The young man would join the Église Catholique de France, the French Catholic Church, working with that moniker and among those goodwill groups to try and give back. Following that, with all the talks he had with the truly faithful, Lou would experience a revitalization of his faith, that the obligation from God to perform his works, to help people. Lou enter seminary, a process accelerated by his charitable works, wishing as he did to further his relationship with God and help others do the same.
Such would falter after seven years there, moving as he had throughout the process of his education to shift from traditional training to working as a missionary or aid worker, dressed as he was in the traditional cassock. Lou found himself needing to aid another in one of the more secluded communes, a mother whose child had disappeared without a trace. The others said that he would need to simply let it all go, that one day the mother would be reunited with her daughter, and that all of it was within God’s plan. Refusal to accept this, something which could be altered, ran deep in Lou’s mind. In secret, he summoned a spirit of guidance, unbound as it was, and bargained with it for the location of the daughter. It was difficult, a negotiation the young mage was ill-prepared to navigate, yet he gained that location nevertheless.
The others discovered such, how such happened Lou never did discover, and his ejection from the seminary quickly followed. He had disobeyed the orders of those above, thus disobeying God, and practiced that which he should not know. With the clothes on his back and little else, save for a renewed belief that they did not know what God wished, that Lou was aware of that and more, and that his skills were an instrument of that will, the young man disappeared among the cities of Europe. He grew to become a shadowrunner, albeit one of a more moral basis whose interests lay in the recovery of those lost, finding individuals, and healing those others of the team. Lou worked alongside a good number of others, his skills expanding as the man grew comfortable in learning more practical, flexible street magic alongside his traditional education.

"I will start with your question, Whetstone," Mr.Johnson replied with monotony to the previously silent shadowrunner. "The target was supposedly killed in a car accident, a bad one where the bodies were badly burnt and were only identified with dental records."
Now the Johnson, turned his gaze towards Tenno."The two gangs fighting over the district are the Forgotten Greens and the Vultures. The Forgotten Greens are a mainly orc and troll gang, and the Vultures are a human gang. However, my sources do not have any more information about them unfortunately, and in the very unlikely case that the girl is a part of one of the gangs. While the client would prefer the girl be unharmed during the retrieval. You are authorized to bring her home by any means but limit the physical damage to her."
Mr. Johnson sighed and paused for a moment before continuing. "Please remember to take care of the girl. The less damage to her, the more likely the client is willing to pay for that bonus for taking her back home." The Johnson sounding calmer now, "Now, are there any more questions?"
Standing at 6'3 and having a muscular build uncommon for a Dragonkin with fair skin and white hair. Zalram has red eyes with back-facing horns and long ears. There are grey scales throughout his body, but they are mainly located on his chest, back, forearms, and legs. His hands seem human but have sharp claws with scales on them. The same goes for his feet, sharp toenails with scales on his feet. Despite what you would think about a Dragonkin, Zalram does not have wings, nor does he have a tail that Dragonkin can sometimes have.
For clothes, Zalram wears simple traveler clothes but wears steel armor over it. Along with a grey rope and hood.
Personality
Zalram, on the outside, can seem like an aloof person who simply travels from place to place with little reason. On the inside, he can be a friendly and reputable person who, surprisingly, is a scholarly person despite his appearance and fighting skills. Still, he is not afraid to fight if he needs to and knows well how to fight with either sword or his fists. Though he has the Dragon Rage, a condition among his people, Zalram is keen not to fall into its influence and has taken measures to keep himself in control, it is not perfect, however.
He is a noble among his people, and as such, he does carry himself like one and still has noble standards despite being on the road for two years now. However, he is not a suck-up person or prideful and does not really bring up the fact he is a noble to people he meets. Along with being an inquisitive soul who loves learning about new things, his scholarly pursuits are mainly tied to uncovering the past of his people who have forgotten their origins despite facing setbacks. Still, Zalram is not one to give up on something and can be a loyal friend to those he cares about.
Background
Zalram is Dragonkin, a name that sometimes people know about. They are somewhat of a rare sight the Dragonkin are, for most keep to their city of Vadon in the Tellis River Valley. It is a place nested somewhere in the Westerlands, but outsiders have heard of the city, and merchants regularly visit it to do business. Zalram is one of the few who left the city for his own reasons.
Having been born the second child and raised in one of the city's noble families. He was offered the best tutelage his family could afford and did well in his studies. Both in mind and martially. But Zalram's interests were elsewhere, for ever since he was a child, he was interested in the origins of his people, the Dragonkin. A race was supposedly created by a Great Dragon in a place known as the Dragonwake, which lies somewhere in the Westerlands, but not much is known by his people about this since so much knowledge was lost after leaving Dragonwake for unknown reasons. So when he was ready and with his family's permission, Zalram left Vadon and began his task of discovering the origins of his people.
For two years, he has traveled the land and has yet to discover where Dragonwake is or find much information about his people's origins. But Zalram is not one to give up so easily and has taken on jobs to support himself while he continues his search. As he was resting in a city after completing a rather hard job. Someone reached out to him about an important task, and after hearing its details, Zalram decided to put his quest on hold for a time to focus on this new task, and he was instructed to meet his future coworkers at a certain tavern. Not expecting the path this job will take him and the rest of the party.
Talents
Skilled with a sword, shield, and hands. Able to use fire from his mouth. Resistance to fire Stronger and more durable than a normal human Knowledgeable about Westerlands history to an extent.

Personality
A consummate professional, Whetstone is a cold and calculating man. He possesses a borderline-sociopathic control of his emotions, that he developed on the job. He is a perfectionist, demanding of himself and others, and easily frustrated by failure. Recently, this has begun to be tempered more by his ability to gauge capabilities and set expectations, but that has been a hard-walked road.
A Social Chameleon, Whetstone is as natural in the policlub as he is in the corporate boardroom. He has occasional bouts of imposter syndrome as he tries to square the countless lives he has pretended to lead, not to mention grappling with his extensive cyberware. Despite this, he has a strong sense of loyalty to his deals and to the job, using it as a way to center himself.
Equipment
Fake SINs (R6): Whetstone is a seasoned veteran of the Frankfurt School, and in his line of work a good Fake SIN goes a very long way. His SINs may as well be real, and are carefully doctored for the job, often with licenses. Whetstone has a Corporate SIN, though this is kept internal to S-K security interests for obvious reasons.
Shiawase Cyber-5 (R5): A terrifyingly powerful cyberdeck, Whetstone prefers to use his deck in Augmented Reality through his cybereyes. A massive library of programs loaded, it is typically configured for subtlety coupled with considerable data processing capabilities, loaded with relevant skillsofts and agents.
Shiawase Kanmushi and MCT Fly-Spy Bug Drones: Used primarily as remote viewing tools, these tiny inconspicuous drones can easily sneak around under autosoft controls.
Heritage Custom-Fit Suit: The mark of a professional, a custom-tailored three-piece suit is only the beginning. Laced with ballistic-proof weave, the custom-threaded wear is comparable to body armor in its durability, all while looking like a high-class executive.
S-K Executive Card: In a world of corps and cybertech, money still makes it go round. While not an unlimited source of wealth, Whetstone can normally acquire new material where necessary and charge it against either his personal or corporate account. He also keeps a supply of loaded credsticks for more covert transactions.
Wire Watch: A high-class timepiece with a hidden spool of monofilament wire. Can be used as a garrote or with a grapnel and gloves to scale buildings.
PSK-3 Collapsible Heavy Pistol: A Russian-made weapon that collapses from an implement the size of a wallet, the PSK-3 is Whetstone’s weapon of choice, often loaded with exotic ammunition.
Maglock Passkey, Sequencer, and Autopicker: Access tools are an important tool of the trade for any self-respecting agent. Important to cover non-wireless systems in a timely manner.
Thermite Burning Bars: Whetstone keeps a few strips of these for breaching and making a quick exit.
Respirator: Kept on his person in case of gas attacks, masked as an inhaler.
Ares Alpha: When the mission calls for more obvious action than he is typically employed for, the Special Operations Rifle is Whetstone’s preferred method of escalation. He typically loads it with gas grenades.
DocWagon Platinum Contract: A luxury item to be sure, but to have a team of guardian angels in case of disaster is a reassuring thing.
Neuro-Stun IX: An incredibly potent stun gas that Whetstone uses in grenades and ampules.
Saeder-Krupp-Bentley Concordat: A vehicle with false corporate plates and a spoof chip, equipped with an anti-theft system and armored glass. Ride in style.
Background
Born in the Essen Megaplex in 2029 under the rule of Saeder-Krupp, Maxwell Miller was a gifted student who was singled out for service in the Special Security Group early on. Growing up under the Crash of 2029, he developed a strong interest in the exciting new world of the Matrix, being one of the first generation to be raised on the new net.
Though initially it was suggested that he would qualify for the cybersecurity division, he demonstrated a degree of adventurousness and ability to act under pressure. He would be placed into basic training for the corporate security forces evaluation, and demonstrate a considerable acuity as well as physical ability. Ultimately, he was presented with a choice of pursuits from Officer to Rapid Response Forces.
He opted for the Special Security Group, primarily driven by the challenge of unorthodox situations and healthy mix of action and analysis. What he didn’t realize when he selected his post was the degree of freedom he would have. After making friends and moving on from general security forces, he was given free rein to choose his own jobs and schedule. His job was to keep a finger to the pulse of the underworld and kick back information to the higher ups.
He took to his work with gusto, rapidly establishing himself in Cologne, a city nominally free from Saeder-Krupp, and one where he would hone his craft in shallower waters. He would develop his decking skills considerably in this time, and begin to do something new: make friends. The stifling environment of corporate schooling and training was immediately ripped from him, and he embraced the newfound freedom and experience.
He rapidly built out his network of people he helped, runners he worked with, and groups who he got the attention of, and in short order he was relocating to the big leagues: Frankfurt. The free city was a flashpoint of intrigue between corporations and German proto-politics as the federation was reforming itself. Truthfully, his adventures there are too many to recount in this description, but needless to say his exploits were legendary and pivotal for establishing the influence of Saeder-Krupp in the rising German State.
His loyalty and contributions were rewarded handsomely, not only from the top dollar his services demanded, but also from dividends earned from opportunities created. He had fully immersed himself in his craft by this time and now, as he faces his future, he is uncertain. He is approaching retirement for his line of work, and this job seemed like something simple to fill some time for a prime runner nearing the end of their prime.
Accepted but next time, wait until I officially accept it before adding it to the character tab.
Interested and thinking of a moon elf of sorts or maybe another idea that I should run by before I might do it. So how does a human that can, for a time, turn into a dragonborn, or at least a human-dragon hybrid sound? He, in this form, would be stronger, tougher, more stamina and more durable. Tell me if this works or not, but I will still be interested if it is a no.
Issac walked in with a smile on his face, another day at his dream come true. He quickly spotted Jeff Kali and the other staff coming in. Business as usual and it would still put a smile on his face. Right now, his current staff have been great so far and helped to cement his dream that is the Twin Seasons. Even if some like Jeff can kinda odd but still it makes the dream work.
So, after entering, Isaac walked over to Jeff and greeted him with a friendly voice. "Hello, Jeff, and nice to see you preparing for the day. I know I am a bit late, but I am here now. So is everything here going okay, no problems or anything?
