How public familiar ties are once again varies a lot, though given how infamous Nightsong/Emnity is and such, rumours about Fellwing's relation to her might be floating about. Also, I imagine if Skobeloff really wanted to find anything out about his clutchmates, it wouldn't be too difficult for him considering his House and trickster nature. Whether he would feel comfortable digging into his clutchmates personal lives is up to Rush, of course.

True! There would definitely be rumours about Fellwing's relation to her (also partly thanks to Cobaltsheen), especially since her parents feared she might become a second Nightsong due to her house arrangement. Further explains why she's very hesitant to share her visions/status as a Seer with strangers.

(Also I meant to click my way here and accidentally clicked into the Witchlight thread instead, saw the post about the roleplay being two years old and was like WAIT WHAT RLY before I realized).

Gonna work on a sheet later this week! Unsure what aspect to go for yet though; might do something with probabilities and random chance (she could be a gacha addict for additional flavour), or maybe a buffer/debuffer with an addition/subtraction theme. Also damn, now I gotta look up math terms in English...

So, I've been thinking about characters for this RP and I've found two taking shape:

The first is a very traditional Japanese teacher who weaves magic into her poetry; something of a support role, but still willing to remind others how the pen matches up against the sword.
”A Cocoon is here;
the wraith lurks, fearing justice.
Sisters, be prepared."

The second is a more comic character, an English teacher on exchange from the US. While she tries her best to fit in, her transformed persona reflects a very... stereotypical particular idea of American culture.
”But why is my weapon a lasso? I've never even seen cattle, I'm from Massachusetts!”

I'd welcome ideas or input as to which will better fit the RP.

Damn, both ideas sound awesome! I like the latter for a comical spin/having fun with all the stereotypes Japanese have of Americans, but a haikubot teacher would be amazing too. Also glad to see separate ideas for a Japanese teacher or an English one, because I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be one person teaching both/all languages, those are very different careers.

I think Fellwing wouldn't have shared her own family situation (and definitely not asked for help, rip), but Skobe might have heard talk/rumours about it, since Stalwart was well-liked before he was killed, and Cobaltsheen has done his best to spread word of what Nightsong/Enmity did. Whether Skobe would've connected that's Fellwing's family, I'm not sure, unsure how public everyone's familiar ties are. I'm fine with whatever option you feel fits Skobe though! And I'm fine with the similar names too, but can also change mine if they ever do get confusing. I'll just pick another shade of blue, ha.

Also edited the fam info a little bit since there were some typos, including one that made it sound like Stalwart was the only one who didn't care about Nightsong when it was the exact opposite ahgdkjasd didn't have time to proofread in the morn, oops. Clarified that.
