Valeria is a curious girl by nature who enjoys learning all sorts of different and strange things. She is always asking questions and trying to find new things to learn or study. Sometimes it seems that her thirst for any king of knowdledge is never quite quenched. Valeria's curious nature drives her to be a bit too impulsive, letting herself act before thinking. She doesn't mind getting in trouble one bit. Her way of doing things might be deemed strange by others, then again, Valeria doesn't really care about that. She embraces who she is and the way she does things. Valeria always seems to have a smile on her face. Always. She doesn't take herself too seriously or any of the camp activities. She tends to fool around during training a little too much and doesn't seem to read the room all too well. People have to be direct to her, or else she'll just continue what she is doing. Despite her airhead attitude sometimes, Valeria shouldn't be underestimated during battle. She likes to use people's opinions of her against them. Or just messing with people. She's know to pull pranks on other campers, especially those in Cabin Five, Ten, and Eight. Oh, how she loves seeing those Ares kids rummaging all around because they can't find their favorite mug. Valeria could be a pretty sneaky and cunning person when she wants to be, often exchanging potions for favors. ____________________________________________________________________________ B I O G R A P H Y Who would have thought that a month long fling would have resulted in the greatest gift the Gods could have given him? Antonio Morales welcomed his daughter with open arms. An architect and local hechicero of their town in Oaxaca, Antonio was known to be a wise and gentle man. When news that he had a daughter broke the town was all talk. Valeria grew up surrounded by his father's beliefs of Gods and Goddesses. He would always emphasize their cultural Gods and always encouraged her to learn about Greek Gods. Being a curious girl, Valeria always stayed with her father when he performed traditional rituals. She always loved watching magic and healing ceremonies he would perform. Valeria had always looked up to her father. She learned everything from him. He taught her how to prepare rituals, cleanse, talk to the Gods, and hunt. Hunting was a special thing the both of them did. Valeria had always had good aim with a rifle, but the first time she used a bow, it was like a calling to her. During her Quinceñera, her father gifted her a beautiful handmade bow and quiver. Family, friends, and practically the whole town had been invited. The entire celebration had been a fantastic experience. Towards the end of it, Valeria and her father went out by the balcony that overlooked the town. There, he gifted her a necklace that looked like a circular maze with a six-pointed shape in the middle. Later on, she would find out that it was one of Hecate's symbols. The very next day, Antonio explained to Valeria who her mother was or what she was. He didn't tell her that the Goddess of Magic was her mother straight away. He didn't want to freak out the poor girl. Valeria trusted her father, so when he said she would have to travel up to the United States, she didn't complain. In fact, she was curious as to why. She wanted to know everything about her mother, who she was, and why she had never met her. Valeria was claimed the first day during her stay in Camp-Halfblood. Questions, her mind was filled with them. Since then, she has been mostly a full-time camper with only winters off to spend time with her father. She wants to learn as much as she can from her newly found family- siblings and Gods included. ____________________________________________________________________________ D E M I G O D I N F O C A B I N Cabin Sixteen ⧿ Hecate, Goddess of Magic R E S P O N S A B I L I T I E S Camp's Local Healer and Potion Provider She'll make you a potion in exchange for a favor. A B I L I T I E S Mystiokinesis : The ability to cast and manipulate magic. Valeria is skilled in Illusionary and Healing magic in specific. She uses magic to create illusions, be it small or big. The bigger the illusion is, the more energy she uses. She's enjoys causing all sorts of confusion and chaos with her illusions. She also uses her magic to help pther heal. Her Legacy of Apollo also strengths her ability to heal. Mist Manipulation : The ability to control and manipulate the Mist. Valeria can only use the Mist to affect what mortals see. Her Mist Controll has been improving little by little. Once she managed to use it and make an Ares kid think he didn't have his sword in it's sheath. It was pretty funny. Umbrakinesis: The ability to mentally generate and manipulate darkness. Valeria could travel through the shadows unseen. Although she can only travel short distances, she uses this ability all the time during battle- making her unpredictable. And to mess with people, especially her siblings and Ares kids. Alchemy : Valeria has spent a great deal of time learning all she can about alchemy. She mainly uses her potions for healing and distraction potions. Like minor explotions and smoke screens. Superhuman Abilites : Like all demigods, Kyrin posses superhuman streangth, agility, durability, and reflexes. She's especially skilled with the bow and arrow, or anything that involves long range. She primarly uses her daggers as throwing knives. Alright! So just stay with the wiki? I was thinking about what a fisherman’s son (not really his son but the bio explains it better) would have for powers. Like I doubt he would be flying around throwing lightning all over. I’m trying to think up his main power so to speak. If strength is a no, I’m thinking storms within reason.

Yeah, for the main part, I think I stuck to the Wikia when it came to looking at powers that the different Gods and Goddesses had that I could pass down to my girls.

And, I think that being able to create storms might actually be a good thing for a fishermans son- it would help to stir up the ocean, and make for larger catches. I've watched shows before about deep sea fishermen (but like, on large scales), and that a lot of the time they actually make the most money, and get their biggest hauls during storms. It's why the job is so dangerous. I can't remember the name of the show though...

What kinds of powers would make sense for a Son of Zeus?
Like whatever the Wiki says?

Cause I was thinking Atmokinesis (Storms and electricity), Leadership, and strength. The last one because the myths all say Zeus was incredibly strong and Hercules.

I just don't want him to be considered OP.

But to answer the question, children of Zeus usually show some skill with Atmokinesis, Aerokinesis, and Supernatural Sight. Of course, each demi-god is different; one might be more skilled in one than in the other, or might have inherited different abilities altogether. However, in any case, they would only have partial control, and not full control. So like, where Zeus has full control over the sky and its weather (Atmokinesis), his son/ daughter might only be able to make it rain, or might be able to create strong gusts of wind, or a storm; they might be able to summon lightning. But they wouldn't be able to do it all.

Also, I think Apollo as a legacy for a child of Zeus is most definitely going to be interesting o:

@Vicier I wonder if many Demigods born to the Minor Gods & Goddesses stay full time. I wouldn't mind Sam being the main Helios kid, seems plausible if it was like that when he first arrived.

When it comes to whether or not you want your children to be full-time, or part-time campers is strictly up to you. Each God and Goddess, minor or not, have their own cabin in the camp (at least in the roleplay), so it is a possibility for them to be able to stay as long as they want to.

Kyrin learned that the same time he learned who his mother was. No one really knows where Kyrin is from. His accent is Irish, but the slang and phrases he uses are from Los Angeles. When people ask him, Kyrin usually deflects the question or makes up something completly bizzare. Once he said he was abducted from his home in Korea and taken to Russia, where he was taught English by an Irish woman so he could be a spy. Of course, no one takes his stories seriously. There have been so many alternative stories with so many details that no one really knows if they have been told the real one or not. Cabin Ten knows well enough not to probe him with endless questions unless they are willing to take a punch to the face. Kyrin doesn't talk about his father either. He has spent the last five years in Camp-Halfblood without leaving that others have begun to believe that Kyrin doesn't have any other family. In truth, his father abandoned him when he was still a baby in an orphanage in Cork. He spent most of his childhood there until he was old enough to enter the foster care system, where he hopped from home to home. Every home worse than the last. He had to endure years of neglect and abuse. All of that forced him to mature faster than others and create defensive walls around himself. It wasn't until he was 13 years old that his mother finally claimed him during a heated argument. Things were going south fast with his foster father that Kyrin yelled he wished that the man would just drop dead. That was the first time he used charm speak. The first time he saw a man almost stab himself in the eye. The first time he saw his mother. Since then, he has always wondered how the Goddess of Love could have fallen for a man so cowardly and pathetic that he abandoned his kid in a broken system. He blames his mother, too, more than his faceless father, for being so blind. She knows this, as Kyrin expressed his opinions the first few minutes after meeting her. Growing up, my favorite animal was a snow leopard, and she and I had talked about it on a few occasions. I used to draw blueprints _{of sorts} for this idea I had, so that one day I could build up my own mechanical beast. Just as a sort of hobby, nothing more, really. Well, some years passed by, and one summer when I had arrived to camp, Ky' vie was waiting for me at the gates with this huge grin on her face. Eventually she took me down to her bunker where she liked working on her projects, and put the final touches on what she was so eager to show me. Turns out, ever since we had started making sketches and whatnot of my mechanical leopard, she'd been trying to build one for me. She finally finished it, and gave it to me as a 'welcome home' present. Sheba, the leopard, is water-resistant. Of course. Can't have her short-circuiting on me. Being who I am, I'm glad Ky' vie took the extra step to do that. Sheba's practically a living thing. Has the same mannerisms as an actual leopard, and if she feels I'm being threatened, she will attack, or at the very least prepare to. She also has a set of commands, which are voice sensitive, and are spoken in Italian and ASL..

Greyson may look like a total douchebag frat boy, but he isn't by any means. He's is a soft-spoken gentleman who keeps a rather calm and stoic demeanor on the outside. His background has him constantly holding his shoulders back and head held high to face the problems thrown his way. He's a young man of very few words, that is unless he's speaking passionately about something. Or to someone. Even through the hardships that Greyson has faced, he's always managed to keep hold of his soft, kind-hearted inner shell. The few he's allowed into his inner circle know this boy is loyal to a fault, and loves like no other. His need to protect the women in his life far exceeds anything else. Having quite a number of nieces, he knows just how fragile young girls can be. Greyson can be a bit more emotional as well as in-tune to emotions more than the average male, having been raised around more girls than boys (with the exception of his two brothers, he had several female cousins he was raised around), he picked up a few things. Greyson is an all-around good guy. He can act pretty damn confident, but it's not out of an "I'm better than you" way, more of an "I know my worth" kind of way. He's a lover, not a fighter, but will fight for those he loves. You probably won't find another guy like him.

Biography:

Greyson's mother, Princess Diana, died less than a year after his birth. Greyson grew up in the shadows of Prince William and Prince Harry, raised by Prince Charles, Duke of Wales and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall. Charles treated Greyson as if he was his own son, and Greyson knew no better. His real father never came forward to claim him so he didn't know any better of where/who his real lineage lied with. That is, until he was approximately 9-years-old, when he was nearly killed by a giant.

The details of just how exactly he survived are quite fuzzy to Greyson, but all he knows is it didn't take long for someone from a Camp that resided in the States to reach out to him to comfort him in the dark and very confusing time. They offered information for the young boy to piece together, filling in the blanks of a past he never even knew. He began spending summers in the camp, learning who he was and how to control the abilities he had (and was still discovering). He quickly learned that he wasn't alone, and that things weren't just black and white, but much more complicated than he could've ever imagined before. The atmosphere was... challenging, to say the least. Eventually, Greyson did find his place among the crowd and fell in with the rest. Being a son of one of The Big Three caused him to grow a reputation rather quickly, but the young man didn't put much thought into it.

Greyson grew up hearing stories of his mother from the two older boys, and of course the tabloids. It wasn't encouraged in the Royal Household to read up on any of them, because most (if not all of them) were lies. Least that's what they were told, growing up. Greyson read them anyway. It's all he had left of his mother's legacy. That, and a necklace that she bought for him within the first few weeks after his birth at the pier where his parents had met. She'd planned to give it to him on his 18th birthday. His father had acquired it at some point, but instead of holding onto it for so long, he gave it to his son the summer following his 10th birthday. It's the only thing Greyson has left of his mother, doubling as a reminder that at one point in time his parents had been in love.

♛ The ability to control water with the mind. Greyson can will himself to stay dry in water, extract water shoot from petrified seashells, create oxygen bubbles underwater for people who cannot breathe underwater, and harden water to form solid ground to walk on or shields. He even can make giant fists of water that mimic whatever he does, which can be used to grab enemies or smash them into the ground.

• Cryokinesis ^(limited): He has very limited control over ice; such as create an icy hurricane to attack all nearby monsters.
• Vitakinesis ^(limited): He can use water to strengthen himself and heal most wounds, the amount of water and time needed for the healing being proportionate to the severity of the wound.
• Water Immunity: If he falls into the water, he will be immune to water pressure. Additionally, he can breathe underwater for unlimited amounts of time and see in the darkness underwater.
• Heat Immunity ^(limited): He has a higher resistance to fire and burns than regular people.

That is until he gets mad, or if he's talking softly, more so in a sweet manner to someone he's attempting to woo or charmspeak to. His accent comes out most heavily when he's pissed off.

@Vicier What I'm thinking is that Sam's powers manifest in two separate ways: Radiant being the suns warmth to heal, grow plants and give warmth. Wrath the suns ability to burn, destroy and cause fires.

When it comes to the powers that you're looking at; I like that it has a nice balance between Apollo and Hephaestus. With all three having been identified and placed in the same sort of catagory; I think that Sam, as a son of Helios, being the link between the other two is a really interesting way to go about it.
