Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

@SSW: I'm going to have to say no to an Assassin Artoria, since it's unlikely she could be seriously summoned as such and because, as this takes place after an undetermined FSN route and ending, her status is currently up in the air.
@Cu Chulainn: I'd stick to B-rank, given other unusual but normally-summonable circumstances still give a B for the top rank.

As for the NP, that seems more suitable for Anti-Army even so, as those are still pretty devastating. So the level of power you describe there is perfectly fine.

As for that last skill, we can talk over PMs about it. I'll be adding my co-GMs to the conversation as well.

@Cu Chulainn: Just a few things I'd like to see tweaked.

His rank in Oblivion Correction is too high for any "normal" Servant. The only ones with higher then B are anomalous and so that should be dialed back as he is a Servant who exists more conventionally as someone who can be summoned normally.

My biggest concern is that his forth personal skill is a bit much? Not because of power output or anything, mostly because it affords him extreme independence, and what looks like effectively high-tier Battle Continuation. I just think it's a bit much to have him be able to ignore his Master's mana supply entirely and also survive pretty much anything.

Finally, while the NP is overall fine the way it's explained makes it sound more like an anti-army attack then anti-fortress, so it might be a good idea to tweak that. Rank can remain the same.
@Heavy Snark: As a second point, a Servant of exceptionally huge size is pretty much unplayable in a conventional GGW or GW setup, as they can't do much at all without violating secrecy. It can only stretch so far.

@Crusader Lord: His stats are inflated in all honestly, they're just too high. Additionally, given the dragon tooth warriors attacked him, should he really have them as a Lancer? Actually, the bio's kind of unsuitable for a Lancer, shouldn't it give some focus to the javelin he used to kill the dragon?

If you want to feature his transformation I'd honestly implement him as Berserker rather than Lancer.

  • Personality: Assassin possesses something of a contradictory nature. In battle, she is a very serious combatant, completely focused on the fight, determined to win. She does not consider battle in terms of good or evil, rather in terms of winning and losing. That being said, this does not mean she does not approach battle totally without moral concerns. Rather, she will attempt to win regardless of her enemy's cause. That being said, Assassin is not tolerant of truly evil actions, such as the harming of innocent people without cause or especially the intent to harm children. Indeed, Assassin has an affinity for children, enjoying spending time around them and making them happy. In spite of her conduct in battle, Assassin is revealed to be a very different person outside of combat. Lighthearted, optimistic, and even somewhat ditzy, Assassin is a remarkably cheerful and friendly girl who shows almost no signs of the determined and skilled fighter who focuses utterly on her victory. However, no matter what, she is always very proud of her skills in combat, referring to her ultimate technique as 'perfect' and often complimenting herself on a job well done, after a fight. While she will refer to herself as a Manslayer, and express surprise at someone being open and friendly towards her, that does not prevent her from being open and friendly towards others. Assassin deeply enjoys sweets, especially dango. In spite of her cheerful and energetic personality, she is deeply regretful over the circumstances of her death, wishing she had the chance to fight to the end with her compatriots. Finally, she is quite dismayed at being summoned as Assassin rather then Saber, even though nothing has really changed.

It is the pinnacle of her capabilities as a samurai, an attack that is composed of three simultaneous thrusts. This is not to say that the thrusts occur so quickly that they appear simultaneous. Rather, it is three individual thrusts that occur, fundamentally, at the same time, at the same position. Even if it were possible to block an individual strike, the other two would still pierce their target. This contradiction causes reality itself to shatter at the tip of the sword, the relationships between cause and effect breaking down entirely. This technique surpasses virtually any known defense, and even the mere destruction of material objects, allowing it to destroy objects that the sword normally would not be capable of piercing.
