Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

@Dark Cloud: But you initially mentioned mine control?

Psychokinesis is the same as telekinesis, which @Raineh Daze mentioned earlier.
@Dark Cloud: Just so you know, mind control won't work on these enemies so I'm not sure how useful that would be.
@Jing: Alright!

Keep in mind you can ask me anything about the setting you want.
@Raineh Daze: Alrighty!

On that note, it's a good idea to try not to overlap with abilities.
Post will be dropping tomorrow.
@KenjuGuy: When he's done I'll take a look.

@Silverwind Blade: I'll keep you in mind if someone ends up dropping.
The creaking noises only grew louder as the skeletons advanced!

Neffy's blade of water whipped through the air, the compressed and high-speed liquid working something like a saw as it hit bone, parting ribs and ultimately a spinal column as the skeleton collapsed into two halves. For a moment, at least. Its lower jaw hanging open, the upper half of the skeletal undead immediately began dragging itself forward, the lower half twitching slightly.

The skeleton attacked by Nuri raised its shield ineffectively before having its skull caved in by the hilt of her sword. It stumbled and fell backwards, dropping its weapons. Though it had not stopped moving, it at the very least seemed disabled as it simply twitched on the ground.

The first skeleton Léon struck swung its rusted sword at nearly the same time he attacked, his polehammer completely snapping its lower arm in two and crushing its ribcage, causing it to stumbled backwards and fall. It wasn't completely disabled yet, but it was down for a moment. The second he struck, however, was able to block with its rusty old shield. It stumbled back regardless, but moments later it rushed the cleric, shield up and aged mace raised over its head!

The party's ingvarr fared quite well against his skeletal opponent. As it attempted to strike him, the sword it wielded bounced off of the shield repeatedly, creaking noises echoing from its bony limbs. His fist broke through desiccated flesh a cracked bone, before finally crushing its shoulder blade and causing its right arm to detach entirely. It wasn't down, but it had become far less of a threat in that instant.

The other four skeletons, however, remained a threat. One, which had the most flesh on its body out of any of them, rushed forward with a strange gutteral noise from its perpetually-hanging jaw, a two-handed sword above its head as the other three followed!

@KenjuGuy: Esper powers come from the minds of the people who use them, yes. Some people developed them naturally, others were compatible with therapies to facilitate the development of them.

As for Phantoms, they started attacking population centers and even though they've slowed down a lot now that's still where they show up when they start a new attack. But it's in much smaller numbers now. Most Phantoms are in Ghost Zones and appear there these days, so while attacks in populated areas do happen they're not in as massive numbers.
I'd also like to reiterate that anyone can ask any questions about the RP they like, I'm very happy to help people figure out their characters.
Post is coming tomorrow, sorry for the delay.
