Current I'd do it again though, let's not get that confused.

Pentagon fails 7th audit in a row, unable to fully account for $824B budget. And to think years ago I willingly became government property for the DoD... 🤦🏻‍♀️

What I'm doing may be considered suicide but my kid fell asleep on the ride home and now he's passed out on my bed. Here's to him pulling a 10 hour shift otherwise work is gonna suck for us tomorrow.

Joined the military, traveled (and more places to go still), finished grad school, married-and subsequently divorced, had a kid... Now all I need is to purchase my own home and my bucket list is done.

This virus has deepened my voice. I don't sound like a man, but something like a drag queen.

@Gunther my signature on here is that piece you were singing. Honestly, the whole S&M album is da bomb.
After eons of indecisiveness, some time in January I finally decided what my all-time favorite song is. Behold, this masterpiece that to me is perfect in every single way:

@Xandrya I could tell similar stories regarding maturity. Drugs and alcohol can stunt growth. My father became an alcoholic when he was 19 years old. After two or three OUI arrests and 25 years at the age of 44, he finally kicked the yolk off. Mentally, he was still 19. The drug inhibited his brain from maturing. Undoubtedly your long board gentleman had a similar experience.

It was a bit of a curveball because prior to the date, I could have sworn he was more so the type of person I was looking for, but I was fooled. I have the typical drunk uncle who still lives in Cuba though and you can tell just by speaking to him he loves the bottle.
I once went on a date with a man in his mid to late 30s, don't remember his exact age. He lived in a cramped South Beach studio with a roommate and after meeting his neighbor, I'm sure she was a druggie. He also had a longboard as his main form of transportation.

The lack of maturity was enough reason to avoid a second date.
<Snipped quote by Xandrya>

One time my daughter crawled into bed with me. She was frightened about something irrational. Towards the morning, I was sleeping on my side, facing her. Apparently, in my dream, I was in a fight. I let loose a front kick that hit my daughter square in the torso. Scared the crap out of me; woke me up right away.

Forget about you, your poor daughter must have nearly had a heart attack!

On a related note, I've noticed that such instances where I suddenly jolt awake because it feels as if I was falling have been happening a bit more frequently. I hate the feeling as it leaves my heart pounding for a few moments after that, as I'm sure it happens to you all as well.
Reportedly, I only snore when I get drunk, but otherwise I talk and I've also been told I kick (happened once). You know, normal stuff.
It wasn't long ago I'd leave my ex-husband on the bed to go to the couch because I couldn't take his snoring. The same thing is happening with my current boyfriend. My mother has told me to just wake them up, but whenever I'd do that, I'd get a half-assed apology, then they'd turn around and continue snoring like a damn freight train. I swear if smothering someone with a pillow didn't lead to me getting into trouble...
My playlist consists of thousands of songs. The majority are in English, but following closely are songs in Spanish, which are quite a lot. I also have two Italian songs, and one in Portuguese and Arabic as well. The last three aren't as easy to sing along to, but I know a lot of parts nonetheless.
Work has been tiring me out lately more so than normal. All these leave days available and I'm unable to use them.
Maybe it's the pessimist in me, but I don't think I'm anyone's reason to smile. My mother loves me to death, but being she's religious, she'll say things like, "you're my biggest love after God". Normally, no one loves you more than your parents, and I lost mine to a deity.
