Current I'd do it again though, let's not get that confused.

Pentagon fails 7th audit in a row, unable to fully account for $824B budget. And to think years ago I willingly became government property for the DoD... 🤦🏻‍♀️

What I'm doing may be considered suicide but my kid fell asleep on the ride home and now he's passed out on my bed. Here's to him pulling a 10 hour shift otherwise work is gonna suck for us tomorrow.

Joined the military, traveled (and more places to go still), finished grad school, married-and subsequently divorced, had a kid... Now all I need is to purchase my own home and my bucket list is done.

This virus has deepened my voice. I don't sound like a man, but something like a drag queen.

Happy Holy Thursday / Good Friday.

If you know where to find this priest, please let me know. I too must confess.
I met my upstairs neighbor one evening while checking my mail. I must say he’s quite the comedian.
I heard someone breaking into the upstairs apartment, then that evening I saw the news that a burglar had been killed by the homeowner's bare hands.
I was born and raised Catholic, then sometime in my childhood my mother converted to Christianism so I did as well by default. In my 20s I stopped going to church and I was an Atheist and/or Agnostic depending on the day. After going through some major life events I guess I consider myself a spiritualist now. Like I pray, but I'm not the overly religious type. Not opposed to going to church, but I choose not to because it's beyond boring for me.

It could just be the timing, but after saying a quick prayer here and there my life improved and my goals/expectations were being met.

I also want to take up meditation to calm my crazy mind and looked into Buddishm out of curiosity but the pages I visited always offered an overly complicated explanation.

I know when you mix up English and Spanish words, it is oft called, "Spanglish". I occasionally mix up German and Spanish words. Would that be, "Sperman"?

About half of us Miamians use Spanglish. There's a joke there with Sperman somehow though. 🤔

I woke up this morning thinking it was Friday. Spoiler alert: it isn't, much to my disappointment.
Due to the fact that English is not my first language, my brain sometimes gets confused as to what language mode it should be on, and given the pronunciation of "chive" being the way it is, 90% of the time I read archive as ar-chive because in Spanish it's pronounced similarly (think ar-shee-vo).

The same has happened in the past with other words, leading to some people mocking me. What can you do, right?
I’m seriously considering getting back into martial arts but I have natural, long nails and I don’t feel like cutting them. Decisions, decisions...
I’ve started watching The Americans. One episode in and I’m hooked.
@Gunther Thank you. Tbh, the bald dude is alright too.

I went out for brunch today to the Keys. Some group passed us by wearing vests and I made a comment to my boyfriend about me not needing a floatie when riding a jet ski since I can swim pretty well. My boyfriend then said long ago, he was launched off a WaveRunner going around 60 mph and the impact knocked the wind out of him, leaving him feeling dazed and all that. Had he not been wearing his vest, he would have had a hard time staying above water. He was a swimmer for over a decade and currently a certified diver.
