Slash Idea. (Search Thread. Always looking. 18+ Slice-Of-Life!)

I'd like to do an idea inspired by a film I watched. It's mostly mindless fluff/slice-of-life, where our characters go through the daily turbulences of life. Our characters are in their late thirties or early forties - they're in a civil partnership or marriage, and they've been together since they were teenagers. Their son or daughter has become engaged to a very 'unapproving' family, so they try and keep their relationship hidden; not because they're ashamed or because they tolerate hostility, but because it'll make things easier for their child. Obviously, there comes a point where they can no longer pretend and they have to deal with that.

There won't be much plot beyond the original premise, and I hope it's long-term since a good many of my roleplays have lasted years before. I mean, they've been in a relationship a while so there are lots of ideas we can come up with - work commitments, keeping things interesting between them...ect. The possibilities are endless

I've been on a Pirate binge recently, and I'd love to do a long-term rp with somebody active and friendly. Over 18, of course, since there might be mature romance that extends beyond this site. Most of my RP's don't have an end in sight (many last years) so I'd like to RP with somebody committed who's quite familiar with the Pirates Of The Caribbean films or the show Black Sails. Bare in mind, I'm only on season 2 of Black Sails.

These are my pairings:

OC/OC - MxM or FxF in either the shows or the films
Captain Jack/James Norrington
John Silver/OC
Billy Bones/John Silver
Will Turner/Jack Sparrow
Or a cross-over of the two would be terrific! John Silver/Captain Jack Sparrow would be pretty cool.

Plot: I really want to do a fluffy slice-of-life RP where Michael and Gavin are in a relationship, but it's super awkward and weird because obviously they work together. I've more-or-less just started watching these guys so go easy on me, but I'm pretty sure I have their personalities down. I'd love to play Gavin. It's literally as simple and as boring as that
