Tucking the map away for future use, he nodded his thanks to the guard. At least he had been a little helpful, which was plenty more than he could say for a lot of the other ones he had met. He had no idea where anyone else could possibly be, though he doubted that they would be all that helpful either based on what he had seen before, but at least the lab was a place to start. With that thought in mind, he started back down the hall toward the closest set of stairs. Maybe he'd find someone already there, anyway. Who knew what he'd do then, but as they said, "live today, tomorrow will work out somehow." Or something like that. He couldn't precisely remember at that exact second.
