Pat was lost for what to do. After Riley had been taken by the ambulance people her mind had went numb. She looked at Vanessa as she spoke to the officer. She did not trust her one bit. Something was very much off about her. She had endangered her lovely Riley by keeping secrets and hiding things. And Riley had been bitten as well.

She but on her lips as she was driving back home. She had already decided to visit the hospital at the first moment she was allowed to. She visited her parents and collected some more clothes for Riley. She knew where the extra key was kept so it was easy to gain entrance.

Her mood was dark as she picked up the clothes. For the first time in her life, or second rather, she wanted to kill someone. Pat tried to shake the thoughts out of her mind as she made her way over to the hospital.

Tonight had already been a long one, and now it was probably only going to become even harder. She'd have to talk to Riley's parents about it. She'd have to see her precious students torn up and confused. It was now she hoped that she could be the teacher to look up to.

She made her way in and asked for Riley's room and was given directions and she walked up there. She saw the parents of tr teens in the room along with their children. She sighed deeply and walked inside, glaring a bit at Vanessa as she did.

"Here Riley. Some clothes," she said and placed them next to the bed before grabbing onto Vanessa's hand and dragged her out from the room and into a nearby storage area.

"Now tell me what the hell is happening. I know you're involved in all of this. I saw it happen. It's your fault that they're lying there dying, or changing into whatever the hell you are."

Pat spoke with an angry voice, something quite uncommon for her.
Mel's patience was running thin. Had these people no respect for law and order? For the lives of those around them? The scientists who played with creation. The supernatural beings which destroyed and voted for war. The underground who seemed nice enough, but also selfish in their wants.

Death was everywhere tonight. So many people had lost their lives when the EMP went off in the city. An ancient relic long thought destroyed. Mel had destroyed plenty of them in her days. They were weapons of mass destruction.

She had left the heavens for the first time in hundreds of years it felt like as she was roaming over the city. It had fried everything in its path in the entire City and much of the land around it. All this time in peace had made her forget just hoe powerful those things were. She could contain and make it go away, but if she was not there..

The thought weighed heavily on her mind. That, and she had seen her sister in the area as well. Whatever the scheming bitch was up to this time it was probably nothing good. She knew her sister well enough to know that.

However, after seeing what had transpired today she was sure she would probably have to intervene sooner or later. Before things got out of hand. Order had to be maintained. But would that mean another war of the worlds? She hoped not

Her sister's words echoed through her mind. That the world should be cleansed of the impure and warlike beings on it. Her logic said yes, but her mind said no. Her heart would not allow for mass genocide.

She sighed deeply and flew across the city once more when she saw two people on some rooftops. Two of the destroyers. Her anger flared up and she summoned her trident and readied to fire. Something stopped her hand though. The daemon girl. Something was familiar with her.

No matter. She had to find and stop her sister for now. She closed her eyes and started seeing the ripples of light where Mikaela had been flying and started following it.
Ani sent me a msg saying that she's feeling really bad. So release is pushed back again.
Missing colours, but there we are! xD
Zhal had not paid any attention to the presence on the bus. It was insignificant, meek. But there was a switch, as if the minds had changed. That was not dual personalities, it was dual souls, minds. Or at least that's how it felt when the girl switched and teleported. She followed her with her mind's eye as the beam was split in two.

She teleported again and appeared next to Jane. "The same as Mel?" she thought to herself as she observed the girl. Interesting, she didn't know there were more of them. It presented an opportunity though.

Her mind reached out for Jane, whispering into her subconscious. She started sowing thoughts of doubt. She relied on the rage and want for war in Jane's mind. Saying that it was humans after all that hunted her kind. Humans were responsible for all the deaths.

Zhal grinned wide as Jane started destroying the buildings. It had taken so little effort. Just push a few buttons, and unleash the rage inside. "Too easy...my new pet.." she thought and grinned as the other girl appeared.

She wanted to run it through with her sword, and would had been able to if she wanted. But this one...somehow felt familiar, but she could not place it. She felt what the daemon was going to do and flapped her wings and was high above the City in almost an instant and closed her eyes fully, relying on her mind.

The two vanished and appeared elsewhere. She turned towards the location and focused a bit more, focusing on Jane's mind and projected what the daemon had done with the city. "You thought she saved lives. Look at the city. Warped, bent. Electronics are cut out, killing lifesupport. Planes crashing to the ground. I can hear their screams. Feel their pain as life's are snuffed out. Do you really want her to know who you are?" She grinned.

Zhal's voice kept speaking into Jane's mind. "I've looked into the girl's mind. She is no saviour. She is a killer, just like you, but on a very different scale. If humans didn't know about your kind before, they most likely do now, due to her."

It was all so interesting to her. She knew where the underground was heading due to the woman. She knew where the dragon-boy was. If she wanted to, she could report it. But where is the fun in that? She wanted to spark another war. One much grander than the first, or even Second World War. But she needed allies. The scientists were weak, but they served their purpose. They had come a long way since she presented the first test subject to them, but it was not enough.

Zhal slowly started making her way back to where the underground was heading. It was time for a visit.

@unknown100
I have a saying there.
You can only undress so much until you get arrested, but in the cold you can dress up for warmth.
Is it now I should say underground forest as well? ;)
Zhal could feel the minds of those here. Every emotion that they felt. Every thought that they had. It was rushing into her like a tidal wave. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. As if breathing in the energies around her. The fear, hate, anger and chaos was feeding her with power.

She exhaled and then took another deep breath. She could hear explosions going off, thunder. Death was around her. Death and agony tasted like sweet wine. While carnal pleasures were like ecstasy to her, death did the job.

Her powers were returned with force and her mind expanded outwards, touching their senses. She could feel the girl from before charging up just outside of the theatre. She was taking a gamble she knew, but it would be worth it to feel what they felt.

Zhal now had a bird's eye view on what was happening on the battlefield. Her mind connected and saw what they saw and she could feel the savoury rush of battle as her mind detached from her body, letting it roam free.

The woman started to speak once again. Zhal groaned inwards, she should just killed her instead of sparing her life. It was trivial though, but it did present her with an opportunity. "The Father," she said as she walked towards the charging girl. "Is the one you call God, Allah and so much more," her voice reached out to them, but a softer tone this time around.

She stared at the girl as the powerful blast came her way and flapped her wings, pushing her up into the air over the blast. She could feel the scorching heat cross under her. Zhal fed off the emotions the girl exhibited. She wanted to control her, making her a slave to her will. So much potential for destruction, so much potential for death.
