Here's my sheet; not quite done yet, but I'll get around to it sometime. Lemme know if anything doesn't work, and yeah.
House Redwyne of The ArborHouse Redwyne, one of the most powerful and influential Houses of The Reach, are known throughout Westeros for their ships and the fantastic wine which is produced on the island over which they hold sway. Publicly, the Redwynes are honourable and dutiful, loyal to their Leigelords in Highgarden: especially so, due to the ties of marriage which connect the two Houses. However, aside from the current Lord Redwyne, who is now well into his twilight years and a relic of a bygone era, the rest of the Household (his sons) are extremely ambitious, and only loosely loyal to the lunatic who rules over them from Highgarden. Lord Redwyne’s sons are known for their ambition, and their ruthlessness when it comes to getting what they want - and, as the elderly man spends himself spending more and more time in his private chambers in readiness to hand over the mantle to his eldest son and heir, the position of House Redwyne - and the Arbor - may soon move up in the world of Westerosi Politics.

Important Members of the Household
Name: Lord Arron Redwyne
Age: Sixty-two
Appearance: Lord Arron Redwyne was once one of the most handsome men in The Reach, and one of the most sought-after and eligible husbands. Now, in his old age, he has lost some of his appeal, but it is still very clear that he was a very handsome man. He stands at 6’4” when completely upright, but has found himself slouching over more and more frequently lately - a result of a back injury he sustained during the Blackfyre Rebellion. He’s still muscular, despite having put on a fair bit of weight, and is more than capable of swinging a sword - despite his sons’ insistence that he not do so. His hair is a snowy white, as is the neatly clipped beard that covers much of his facial features.
Personality: Arron Redwyne is a kind, loyal, intelligent and caring man. He was anointed only a few weeks after his fourteenth nameday, and was known throughout The Reach for his fighting prowess and his virtuous conduct in all aspects of his life. As a ruler, he was fair and just, and meted out proper rewarded to those that deserved it - and punishment to those that did not. Under his firm but steady hand, the Arbor has prospered, and is one of the most well-developed sub-regions in Westeros. To his leigelords in Highgarden, he was loyal, but not stupidly so - he did as they asked of him out of a sense of duty, but was always careful to ensure that he was not serving those of a corrupt and deceitful nature. To his children, he was as he was to his subjects: kind and loving when appropriate, and a figure of authority and discipline when he needed to be.
He always a curious man, and believed in the fostering of good relationships between all the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros in order to make it a great and powerful civilisation. As a result of this, he allowed all of his sons to go travelling, and to explore the world as he did not - satisfied in the knowledge that the next generation of Redwynes will be worldly, knowledgeable people.
Privately, he believes one of his greatest achievements has been the raising of his children, whom he considers to be exemplary individuals. Overall, Lord Arron is an intelligent, kind and loyal man who has lived a life of hearty fulfilment, and is just about ready to hand over the mantle of leadership to his eldest son and live out the rest of his days basking in the warm sunlight of The Arbor.
History: Lord Arron was born the first-born son of the late Lord Karlon Redwyne and his wife, a noblewoman from the Crownlands. He was raised on the Arbor, and spent a roughly even amount of time with his father and mother in the early years of his life. However, from the age of seven and onwards, he barely saw his mother - starting to spend more and more time with his father and his retainers, learning what it was to be a man.
His father realised the importance of booksmarts alongside more military skills, and saw to it that his son was able to understand how to read and write, knew of all the Houses of Westeros and who was a member of them, and had a thorough understanding of each of the Seven Kingdoms. As well as his academic learning, Arron also spent a good deal of time each day in the courtyard of his family’s castle, training under the firm hand of House Redwyne’s then current Master-of-Arms.
It was soon realised he was a gifted boy, both with the sword and with the quill, but with a heavier leaning towards more practical pursuits - much to his father’s pleasure. When he was deemed literate enough for his father to be satisfied, he was allowed to stop the majority of his academic learning, and to focus upon his journey towards Knighthood.
He squired for his uncle, and, through him, learnt what it meant to be a Knight - and, by extension, what it meant to be a man - and a Redwyne. When he was fourteen, he was anoited as a Knight of the Seven, and spent the next few years travelling from tourney to tourney throughout The Reach, accompanied by a small escort of House Redwyne’s sworn swords, whom he had grown up alongside.
An extremely handsome man, he had a great deal of luck with The Reach’s women: smallfolk and ladies alike. He must have bedded at least sixty women in the few short years that he was away from home, and when he returned home he was truly a man, and ready to assume the duties that were his by birthright.
When his father passed away, Arron was twenty-five years old. He readily assumed the mantle of Lord of the Arbor, and soon made a name for himself amongst the smallfolk of the island: a likeable, intelligent and handsome young man, he was a popular ruler. When he was twenty-seven, Arron married - having put his years of debauchery behind him, he was ready to be faithful to his wife - who, like his father’s wife, was a noblewoman from The Westerlands.
He fathered five children - two boys, to begin with, then a daughter and another boy- all within a few years of one another, and had his first when he was twenty-eight. He was a stern but kind father, and was never unnecessarily cruel to his children - but nor were they spoilt like many noble brats were.
His wife passed away when he was sixty, and he still mourns for her loss. He’s resided on The Arbor ever since, ruling with a steady hand and keeping an eye on the comings and goings of the rest of Westeros as he prepared to retire from his position and hand responsibility over to his eldest son.
Name: Ser Victor Redwyne
Age: 33
Appearance: Victor looks as his father did, thirty years ago. He stands at a towering 6’5”, with piercing blue eyes and an impressive physique. His hair is a light blonde colour, a trait inherited from his mother, and is incredibly curly. He sports stubble on his cheeks at most times, but will always shave for important and ceremonial occasions.
Personality: From a young age, Victor had the importance of politeness and gentlemanly virtues drilled into him. As such, he conducts himself in a gentlemanly manner, and is said to be incredibly charming by many who have met him - male and female alike. Having been a Knight since his late teens, he is a chivalrous and honourable man, but that is not to say that he won’t do whatever he takes to get what he wants: he’s extremely ambitious, and his only real loyalties lie to those that are connected to him by ties of blood. Family is the most important thing to Victor - and the advancing of said family in the world of Westerosi Politics. Despite his strong ambitions, he’s a likeable man, and is well-liked by those that he knows on The Arbor. Lately, he’s been taking over more and more of his father’s duties, and rumours have begun flying that he’s not as impartial as his father had been - and prone to favouring the interests of the rich over the poor, in some cases. Whatever these allegations, however, the majority of The Arbor’s inhabitants are excited to see how their new Lord will rule over them when his time comes.
Bio: The first-born son of Lord Arron and his late wife, Victor was quite a spoilt child for the first few years of his youth. Soon enough, however, his father wisened up - what with the birth of his other children and the realisation that his firstborn son would turn into a brat if he continued to receive the pampering which he was being given.
When he was four, Victor began his academic tutoring, and was not even allowed to pick up a sword until his tenth birthday. However, by this time, he was well-versed in reading, mathematics and the history of his own and several other Houses. Satisfied, his father allowed him to focus on more ‘manly’ pursuits: such as learning how to fight, ride - and, in the case of The Arbor - how to sail on a ship.
He squired for his Uncle Royce, like his father had done for his uncle before him, and was considered ready to become a Knight in his seventeenth year. He was anointed in The Arbor’s Sept, and on his eighteenth nameday was given leave to travel throughout Westeros and to make a name for himself. Unlike his father, Victor travelled through all Seven Kingdoms - including a part of Dorne - and broadened his understanding of his fellow countrymen through his travels.
When he returned to The Arbor, he was nineteen, almost twenty - and, like his father, had undergone a change from boyhood to manhood during his travels. Satisfied with his son’s transformation, Lord Arron set about trying to find him a wife - and found him one in (to be arranged).
The two were married when Victor was twenty-two, and he was blessed with the birth of his first and thus far only child, a beautiful girl named Myranda, after her grandmother, only a year and a half later.
He has resided on The Arbor ever since, overseeing the exportation of the island’s famous wine to the rest of Westeros, and gradually taking over more and more of his father’s duties as the man’s age continued to catch up with him. Victor still has the curious heart of an adventurer, and will take up any opportunity that he can to travel to a tourney or to attend a wedding elsewhere in Westeros - in order to further the ambitions that he has for his family.
Name: Halmon Redwyne
Age: 31
Appearance: Halmon Redwyne, although tall, is nowhere near as broad nor muscular as his older brother. He stands at 6’2”, with a much more narrow physique - one more appropriate to a burglar than a Knight. The man’s eyes are a bright, meadow green - and sparkle with intelligence. His hair is a dark brown colour, and curly like his older brother’s - he, however, pushes it back from his face so that it hangs down to his neck on either side of his ears.
Personality: Halmon, like his older brother, is incredibly ambitious. Unlike both his father and brother, however, he never became a knight - and, as such, is severely lacking in any sort of feeling of moral duty. Despite his willingness to do whatever he has to in order to get what he wants, he is loyal to his family - a result of the excellent upbringing his parents gave him. He was known when he was younger for being promiscuous, and unlike his brother has never grown out of the habit. He’s a cold, sarcastic, calculating man - but knows how to put on a variety of faces in order to make people like him. His siblings used to call him sociopathic, and are somewhat wary of him; an extremely intelligent man, he’s not someone to be crossed lightly.
Bio: Halmon, unlike his father and older brother, never had any interest in Knightly pursuits. He was always more interested in books, something which his father initially resisted, but eventually came to accept. By the time he was fifteen, he had learnt everything he could from The Arbor’s Maester, and his father sent for tutors from other parts of Westeros and even the Free Cities in order to sate his son’s thirst for knowledge.
Halmon had a great gift for mathematics, and spent a good deal of time with House Redwyne’s steward in his youth - helping him with the calculation of how much to tax the ships which pulled into port at The Arbor every week. He managed to help keep the steward and his staff from becoming too corrupt, and pocketed the on-the-side profits that they would have made themselves to cushion his own coffers - after all, what his father didn’t know couldn’t hurt him.
He was liked well enough by his siblings growing up, but they were always wary of him - he had a knack for finding out their secrets and using them against them, and even had one of his servants flogged - a handsome boy who had a crush on his younger sister; feelings which were mutually returned by the beautiful young lady herself. Fiercely protective of his family and their honour, Halmon made it his responsibility to nip anything which could possibly turn to scandal right in the bud.
Halmon soon proved himself to be a massive hypocrite, as word of his bedroom exploits gradually began to spread throughout The Arbor - the careful whisperings of servants who, even though they feared a beating, could not resist the urge to gossip. As a result of these whisperings growing in their frequency and volume - and with the possibility of an outright scandal on the near horizon - Halmon was sent away to Highgarden at his father’s behest, which served a dual purpose. Lord Arron lost any further chance of being embarrassed by his son’s interesting bedroom appetites, and he also bought himself a valuable and totally loyal spy - and voice - in the midst of Highgarden’s court. As his sister had already been married to Highgarden’s heir for two years, the transition was a smooth one, and Halmon found the Tyrell’s seat to be both beautiful and welcoming.
The Redwyne soon grew to be an influential member of Highgarden’s Court, and became one of Lord Tyrell’s most trusted advisors - serving him by all fronts loyally, whilst collecting as much information and dirt as he could on the man who’s sanity was not quite there. As well as serving as his father’s spy and emissary in Highgarden’s Court, Halmon also spends a lot of time with his young nephew, the son of his sister and Lord Tyrell - grooming him and manipulating his opinions so that when he comes to power, he will have more of a love for the ocean than for flowers.
Name: Emmon Redwyne
Age:
Appearance: Emmon Redwyne, unlike the other males of his House, does not stand at a particularly impressive height. That is not to say that he is short, however - he still stands a good few inches taller than most women, at 5'10", with the sun-kissed skin and freckles that come as a result of a lifetime of growing up in the bright sunlight of The Arbor.
He's no Knight, but nor is he a scholar - he's a mixture of the two, and this has affected his physique as well as his personality. Quick and sleek, the man can move with lightning speed, and he is able to wield a sword - or a dagger, his weapon of choice - with ease. He dresses in finery, that bring out the deep blue of his intelligent eyes, and compliment the raven black color of his hair: a trait he has inherited from his father.
Personality: Emmon Redwyne is a hybrid - a man of both the sword and the quill, a rarity in a Westeros so divided between pursuits of warfare and intellect. Extremely well educated as a result of his father's devotion to his children being highly literate, he has a lightning fast wit, and a tongue that is only a few seconds behind it - much to the man's advantage, for if his tongue was quicker, he would say a great many things he would later regret. Although he is not a warrior, he is no maester, and knows how to defend himself: his brother, uncle and Rory Reyne saw to that. This, combined with his intelligence, has leant the boy a quiet confidence, which can occasionally turn to cockiness under the right circumstances.
Like the rest of his House, Emmon is a firm believer in the importance of family, and another of Lord Leos Tyrell's private criticizers. He fears for the safety of his older sister and brother at the Mad Man's Court, and longs for the chance to remove the man from his seat, if he is ever given the chance. Intelligent and cunning, Emmon pursues his interests with a ruthless drive, and will stop at nothing to achieve what he wants - and what he believes is right, which often - coincidentally - are the same thing. Unlike Halmon, however, he does have some compassion for his fellow man - but, unlike Victor, he will not sacrifice his own wellbeing for the good of others (save for family). A hybrid of his two older brothers, Emmon is devoted to advancing his House's position and legacy, and is willing to use unconventional means to achieve this.
Bio: Born on The Arbor, Emmon's early years were roughly the same as both of his brothers': his education was seen to first, at the hands of a platoon of tutors from all over Westeros and even a few from the Free Cities, and then physical pursuits were allowed to be addressed with more and more frequency. Emmon, unlike Victor, had no dreams of being a knight - but, unlike Halmon, he did still have an interest in learning how to fight. As such, his time was divided: between learning about ships and sailing with his father's men, studying with his tutors, and learning how to swing a sword under his uncle's stern hand in his family's castle's courtyard.
At some point during his tenth year, Emmon was informed by his Lord Father that he would soon have an important - and rather permanent - guest, in the form of Rory Reyne. His Lord Father had recently passed away, a friend of Lord Arron's, and the Lord of the Arbor had volunteered to take the young man in as one of his own, rather than leaving the burden of raising one's own younger brother on the new Lord of Castamere, who was already - and suddenly - responsible for the running of the castle that had been his father's domain before his passing. Lord Arron, ever the compassionate man, had sympathized with the Reynes and sent one of his ships to Lannisport to pick up the Reyne boy and to bring him to the Arbor.
Emmon and Rory - although slightly wary of one another at first - soon became fast friends, and spent their days terrorizing the denizens of the Redwyne's castle with their schemes, the boys' common intelligence and cunning allowing them to outwit many of the slower and less-learned members of the Redwyne's Household. Emmon practiced swordplay with Rory everyday, and helped the other boy with his studies at night - both helping the other improve in their respective fields of expertise. Even at the beginning of the Blackfyre Rebellion, however - when Lord Arron declared for House Targaryen and Rory's older brother for the Blackfyre Pretender - the boys' relationship did not falter, and the fact that Rory was technically now a hostage of the crown under Arron's watchful eye did not bother Emmon in the slightest. He was his friend, and that was all that mattered.
At the end of the war, when Daemon Blackfyre was defeated and his supporters - along with Rory's remaining brother - fled into exile, the Reyne boy was kept on at The Arbor as a hostage of the crown, until the day when he was considered ready to return to his holdings and take charge of his birthright: the castle of Castamere. When they were fifteen, Emmon and Rory departed from The Arbor with only a few of Lord Arron's trusted and most skilled men to guard them, taking one of House Redwyne's smaller ships as their own, as they set off on a grand tour of Westeros and the Free Cities.
The boys returned almost a year later, and already they were men: Rory was ready to rule, and he and Emmon said farewell - but not without promising to visit one another, which was a promise that they upheld. Every two years, Emmon would travel to Castamere, and stay there for a few months before returning home to The Arbor. The two of them made a near inseparable pair, and the connection between House Redwyne and Reyne would certainly be influential whenever they both grew older, and came to have more of a role in governing their respective hodlings.
Currently, Emmon is residing at Castamere, on one of his long trips there.
