I think you're forgetting the true power of the transformer. It's not that they have a powerful ship. It's the ability of Teltran-1 to scan the area and alter the transformations of the autobots to blend with the local populace. Your autobots would then be able to turn into Tie-Fighters, Landspeeders and other forms of awesomeness. They can slip right into the middle of an enemy city using a holographic driver or with some crew of one of the other vessels and to perform espionage or sabotage.

I did a bit of research on Cosmos - he seems utterly ridiculous in the G1 cartoon. I'd have to alter his personality, just for the sake of my own sanity.

You make a good point, Assallya. I feel a bit more confident in the Ark now. Let's just hope the Columbia doesn't open fire the minute the Autobots reveal themselves!

I'm interested in this, but I'm a bit intimidated by all this technobabble. :s
I'm not too familiar with any of the universes save for Star Trek really, and it's been a while since I've done anything ST related. Will this be a problem?

Shouldn't be, some of us technobable just for the sake of technobabble. I know that is why I technobabble.

Haha, pretty much why I technobabble too.

Just pick a ship thats lacking on the science crew and you'll be fine.

+Maxxorlord:
● OC or Canon is fine, whichever you'd prefer.
● Pick whichever continuity you think is appropriate.

Oh, hey, I see you made a sheet---
Oh, look, you're remaking your sheet! Let me know when you're done.

+Darkwolf687:
Hmm. I'm concerned about the massive number of ground-invasion forces that you have (and your ability to glass planets, but I think I recall that being damaged during your method of transfer), especially when compared to the other PC ships' number of available forces. Either convince me that it'll be okay, downsize your ship (again :P ), or downsize the number of ground-invasion forces, please.

+Click This:
Well, you can read the IC posts now. Admittedly there's going to be a higher quotient of technobabble in the first few posts than later ones, but if you can see yourself interacting still, you should be fine. Of course, if there's ever something that you find yourself completely clueless about, you can ask in the OOC. We should be able to at least point you to where you can find out more information. And some familiarity with the Star Wars universe would be helpful - at least the general plot of Episode IV.

Other than that, presumably your ship's crew won't know much about this universe and the other ships anyway.

+Mattmanganon: Accepted! I totally remembered to accept you two days ago, and I definitely didn't just edit this in now. <3

Downsized the land forces by 6500. I'd like to point out grunts are generally ineffective and are basically cannon fodder/meat shields

Ship Name: CCS Class Battle Cruiser Shade of Tyranny
|Universe of Origin: Halo Universe
|Method of Transfer (inc. damage sustained during transfer/current supplies): Slipspace accident. Those stories about the ships which vanish in slipspace, never to be seen again? The Shadow of Tyranny just discovered what happens to them, they get tossed through the fabric of space and time, breaching the walls of the universe. Luckily, the Shade of Tyranny has arrived in a universe where the rules of physics are still the same and thus their ship hasn't been randomly destroyed, their bodies haven't melted nor have they met any other nasty end.
As with all slip space accidents, the damage is extensive. The Energy Projectors are heavily damaged, only one is still able to be fired and only on it's medium and low settings, not the high setting used for glassing planets. It's reactors are functioning at 76.6% and one of it's store rooms has literally disappeared, taking with it the majority of their anti-matter charges. Some of the armour plating on it's port side has been torn off, and two of it's port hanger bays have received heavy damage. The two fins on its port side have been torn off, there have been significant losses in life (Much to Luka's dismay, there are still living Brutes on board). It has also lost the majority of it's escape pods as many jetisoned for unknown reasons during the transfer, leaving just enough escape pods to carry about 310 individuals if they attempt to maximise the usage of space, which is nothing compared the crews number. This has left his fleet to fall to the control of another Sanghelli, and Luka is hellbent on finding a way back into the war zone

|Ship Specifications:
Length: 1782 metres (5,850 ft)
Width: 862 metres (2,830 ft)
Height/depth: 230.8 metres (757 ft)

Combat systems: Pulse laser turrets
Plasma Torpedo's
Plasma Turrets
Energy projector Times 2 (Damaged)
Antimatter charge (Main supply lost, limited available)
Defensive systems: Shielding (Functioning at 80%)
Thick Covenant Alloy Armour
Other systems: Repulsor Engines
Comms system
Detection systems
Life Support Systems

|Crew: 5,000 + 15,000 (Fully staffed) 5,000+7,902 (Current Staff) 12,902 (Current total)
Crew composition: 2141 Elites, 1051 Brutes, 2352 Jackals, 2339 Drones, 4182 Grunts, 508 Engineers, 329 Hunters
Additionally there a Stealth Corvette (The Stealth Corvette is in the second port dock, which is depressuried and thus requires EVA units in order to reach it for the moment. It has also lost it's shield generator and weaponry it's stealth systems remain operational)
It contains three Scarabs (The Fourth, fifth and sixth were lost in slipspace and the third scarab is damaged and requires repairs), 50 Spirits, 50 Phantoms, 121 Seraphs. 30 Choppers (Again, much to Luka's dismay at the savage vehicles) 20 Prowlers, 80 Ghosts, 40 Spectres, 41 Revenants, 32 Wraiths, 57 Banshee's, 100 Banshee Intercepters (IE: Space Banshee's) Total: 624
Other: 100 Orbital Insertion Pods, 40 Heavy Orbital Insertion pods, 10 Covenant Boarding Craft, 9 escape pods

Major Characters (More may be added in time, and minor characters will come and go without being added here. I am not going to add Flipyap the Grunt who appeared for two posts and then became another faceless mook xD)

+Name: Luka Loramai
+Job: Zealot (Fleet Master)
+Description: Muscular and standing at roughly 7'7 tall, his mandables have many feral looking teeth, and he is missing a tooth on his lower right mandable that was knocked out during sparring, along with a scar on his chest he recieved from the same fight. Despite being an enemy of humanity, Luka has shown a willingness to cooperate with them when there is a mutual goal or objective, and holds a grudging respect for the humans. He has also shown a willingness to permit those serving under him to use human weaponry when there is no other weaponry available, an act that would usually warrant a charge of heresy. Some have called his faith into question as a result of this, but his actions in the Human-Covenant war have been louder than these voices thus far, and those under his command vouch for his zeal. Being a swordsman, he took the "ai" suffix to his name instead of the standard "ee" when he entered military service with the covenant.

+Name: Fal Refumai
+Job: Zealot (Field Marshal)
+Description: Slightly taller than Luka, with a more muscled body and standing at roughly 7'9 tall, his mandables are unscythed and contain many sharp, pointed teeth. The definition of a zealot, Refumai holds an excessive zeal that makes his own lance nearly unbreakable in morale. Despite Refumai's excessive zeal, he has formed a close bond with Loramai to the point Refumai is willing to risk his own zeal being questioned by vouching for Loramai. He serves as Luka's second in command and fills the important role of Field Marshal. Fal Refumaj is also eager to return to the war, though mostly because he knows his role has now fallen to a Brute Chieften and would rather his beating heart torn from his chest than to know that savage was in charge of his men

+Name: Ripa Lodamee
+Job: General
+Description: Slightly smaller than the other two high ranked officers at 7'5, but with a much larger ego, Ripa Lodamee is a skilled tactician and warrior... and unfortunately, he knows it. Even for a Sangheili his ego is crushing, he loves to tell proud boasts about his own exploits, while claiming responsibility for others successes and down playing any achievements he can't claim credit for. While the other two see only the need to return, Ripa Lodamee sees a new oppurtunity in this galaxy. A galaxy that they could dominate. He disagree's with the other two that they should return to their own universe in order to continue the Human-Covenant war, thinking that it is all well in hand, and instead believes they should find away to bring more forces here and conquer this universe instead.

Putting up my sheet for consideration. I need to get on a plane early tomorrow morning, so I'll finish the crew section as soon as I can.

|Ship Name: USS Iphigenia (NCC-2557)

|Universe of Origin: Star Trek

|Method of Transfer:
Shortly after a rendezvous to exchange crew and cargo with the Sovereign class USS Magicienne, the crew of the Iphigenia and the Magicienne received an urgent communication from Starfleet. A large spatial anomaly was detected near the Ceylon system. As the two ships were the nearest to the anomaly, they were sent to investigate, with the USS Hood also on its way. Shortly after the pair of ships arrived they were sucked into the anomaly, but not before the Iphigenia put up shields as a last-ditch solution.

The USS Magicienne was destroyed. The Iphigenia, who had time to put up shields and started backing away under impulse power survived, but received significant structural damage, with a large hull breach from deck 10 to 16 and 24 to 26. Smaller hull breaches were also reported when the ship was peppered with debris from the destroyed Sovereign class ship. The warp core was knocked out and estimates for repairs on the torpedo bay and launchers were two weeks at a conservative estimate. Additionally, it seems a full quarter of the ship’s complement of photon torpedoes were lost in the hull breach. All the quantum torpedoes were sucked out from the breach, save for three torpedoes loaded in the launchers. The impulse drive was slightly damaged and only operates at ½ capacity, but repairs should take no more than three days. Similarly, only a half of the transporters are functioning. Thrusters are fully functional. Shields are operative, but only at 45% capacity with shield emitters damaged. All saucer-section phaser banks are fully functional, but several shorted phaser relays have disabled the banks on the lower hull section. All power was lost to the deflector dish, but it otherwise appears intact. Despite the significant hull breach, severe crew casualties are at a minimum, but a portion of the crew, including the captain, were on the Magicienne and were killed.

|Ship Specifications:

Excelsior Class
Refit 2380, one week out of stardock

Dimensions:
Length: 467m
Width: 180m
Height: 78m

Armament and primary system specifications:
12 Dual Emitter Phaser Banks
4 forward Photon/Quantum torpedo launchers
2 aft torpedo launchers
Transphasic Deflector Shield
Upgraded Warp Drive capable of warp factor 9.7
Impulse Drive
Transporters
Tractor Beam
Shuttle Complement consisting of:
4 type 11 shuttlecraft
1 Delta-type shuttlecraft

Crew complement: 750 crewmembers + 220 USS Magicienne Survivors

+DarkWolf687: Accepted!

+Maxxorlord: Seems reasonable. I'm going to presume that your limiting resource is Energon, which you can make/convert stuff into only with great difficulty? Anyway, you're accepted. Tread lightly around the Battlestar [Sep's ship]. They'll likely go ballistic as soon as/if they find out that you're sentinent robots.

+Click This: Quantum torpedoes concern me because virtually nothing in the SW galaxy (or most of the PC ships, for that matter) can stand up to them. While the primary antagonists likely might have something to say about them, we won't really be fighting them for a little while. Other than that, your sheet looks okay to me (sans bios, of course).

To jump in here even the Wikia you linked me to suggested that Soundwave etc. AUGMENTED their energon supplies with alternate sources. They didn't actually convert it into it, so you probably couldn't bring an inactive transformer back with it.

I'm torn between making an app for a Space Station 13 ship, or a Combine citadel ship.

Which would you prefer, SS13 in all it's flatulent and space wizardly glory, or the multi-race alien empire?

This isn't the... Half Life Combine is it? As the Citadel isn't an actual ship herself.

I personally know denada about SS13.

Half Life Combine, yes. The citadel actually is a ship, hence why in the game you find it in a massive crater. It's landed on the planet.

It isn't a ship. Go on the Wikia if you must. It was probably built in space and then sent through the portal which of course sent it crashing into the ground. But it isn't an actual ship.

Hmm, I'll take your word on it, mostly because that leaves me a lot of leeway to completely design my own form of Combine space exploration. The game lacks any info of what the Combine would use in space, if the Citadel itself is not spaceworthy, so I can easily piece together my own tidbits to form a completely unique style of space travel. Good practice for sci-fi writing. Of course, that's dependent on whether or not I go with the Combine as opposed to SS13.
