+: Accepted!+: Seems reasonable. I'm going to presume that your limiting resource is Energon, which you can make/convert stuff into only with great difficulty? Anyway, you're accepted. Tread lightly around the Battlestar [Sep's ship]. They'll likely go ballistic as soon as/if they find out that you're sentinent robots.+: Quantum torpedoes concern me because virtually nothing in the SW galaxy (or most of the PC ships, for that matter) can stand up to them. While the primary antagonists likely might have something to say about them, we won't really be fighting them for a little while. Other than that, your sheet looks okay to me (sans bios, of course).

Yep! I'm going on the assumption that Energon is an extremely potent energy source. I mean, they use fusion factors just to supplement the stuff. So they'd have to use mass amounts of other compounds to make even a single cube.

Annnd yes. That's going to be an issue..

Well, who says you aren't allowed another ship from 40K? Maybe you could go with Pre-Heresy Thousand Sons and we are forced to work together?

Oooooh. Now that'd be a sight to see.

Well, you may not be able to sleep. But due to my new found exercising I do.Look forward to seeing DarkWolfs appearance and Maxxlords when I get back.Man, my XO is going to be pissed. Since the commander left to go speak to the delegate from the Tor-Selim two contacts have turned up.Just Remember Maxxlord. Soon as we find out your robots cannons to be pointed at you, and fired without question. You'll have to find an ingenious way to get us to stop shooting if that is what you want of course. At least I have the advantage that you can't transform into my Vipers. They're far to small for the spacefaring Transformers whose names I forgot when typing this.

I'unno. The Vipers seem long enough for a smallish Seeker..If we take into account the usual mass displacement that comes with Transformers. :P Because you know, a ten meter tall Astrotrain can transform to allow all the decepticons into himself, with plenty of elbow room.

Try it, copy one then land in the hanger bay and transform and just see what happens. I'm sure you'll enjoy it :P

Hmm, ok. Do you want me to completely delete the quantum torpedoes or significantly reduce the number onboard (ie, 5-10 torps tops)? It'd think a lot of the Federation ships at this time frame would be equipped with them, especially after the Excelsior refits during the Dominion war. Bios still incoming.

Ah, the trick here is. Equipped before the transfer.

I need Raidne on, so that I can finish off that collab and then do a post responding to the new vessel :P

Before I would have probably just been... suspicious with the wierd voices but put it down to comms. However I got Raptor cameras and people looking all throughout the fleet taking photos. I'll see your dear optimus friend and that means....

"Action Stations, Action Stations. Set condition one throughout the ship, this is not a drill. Repeat. This is not a drill."

Yay, arming weapons and such. Also watch what you say about "Heavy" damage.

Us lowtechs only had to take minor. I had a hull breach that will probably take a while to fix properly which means a lot of engineering requires spacesuits but at least my FTL is back online, at least I have FTL :P

I suspected you'd notice Optimus..But I'm not all's that scared. I'm..sort of banking on the rest of the fleet not being too happy with the Columbia firing on a ship that just announced itself friendly.

Pshhttt. Who needs FTL when the crew of your ship is practically ageless?

Use that excuse when the empire or the Kiith send people after us and you can only run away on sublight.

You could have lost them during the transfer :P

I mean you can only arm so many, so maybe have 2 or so before it happens.

Haha, I agree.

Nothing wrong with having two ships from the same franchise in the fleet, especially with one as vast as Star Trek.

It was more that I needed to have an expositionary vessel to explain to the newly arrived vessels what was going on in the galaxy. Otherwise you'd end up wandering for who knows how long visiting empty planets and wondering where everyone was. If I'd known a Star Trek vessel was inbound I'd have elected to go with the USAF Daedalus complete with SG-1 aboard :)

Heck, I might even have asked Raidne if I could have Atlantis! *mwah hah hah hah hah* The thing would have been more of a mobile base for the others ships of the fleet to operate from.

Additionally, I do agree with you on the possibility of multiple star trek vessels. There's nothing wrong with two or more of those. There's also the aspect that the Star Trek ships might not even be from the same universe as demonstrated by our recently deceased Admiral.

Uh.

We have a mobile base already. Its called the Tor-Selim.

Also since when have you ever seen SG-1 aboard the Daedalus?

Oh wait. -Multiversewank-

God I hate Multiverse, if it wasn't the only time I could play a Battlestar I would never do it.

Heh, and if I get accepted, the Citadel itself could act as a mobile base and also a factory.

The Pegasus Project, season 10.

Besides, I was thinking more of a rear base. The Tor-Selim making me think of a forward operating base, one that is just outside the combat zone and that you can retreat towards if things go sideways.

Mind you, I also think that the Tau'ri never uncovered half of Atlantis' abilities. I can't imagine designing a city that large that didn't have a means of manufacturing. Plus, how is it that they never found any of the armouries? I figure there was a means of manufacturing, hidden armouries and a few other things that needed more than simply the ATA gene to access.

I would like to draw you to the fact that they are aboard the Odyssey during that particular Episode. Try again.

Tor Selim does that too, though you could probably synth resources.

It wasn't a war ship. Drones were a later development and added on, they probably didn't manufacture drones on Atlantis. Otherwise when they got a grasp on the city it would have been one of the first things they searched for. That and a way to make ZPMs.
