No music?! Not even nice and calm instrumental music when reading?! I... my brain... I can't...!

Book looks really cool though, and it's tempting me! ...even though my reading backlog is monsterific. I also had a look at the Mistborn Trilogy the other day when I was out shopping. Hnn so tempteeeeed~

Actually, that reminds me of an idea I had after you mentioned those books. Would anyone be interested in doing a Book Club-ish type thing this summer, when our school bound folks are a bit more free? :> Just an idea! :D

Listening to music while reading? That just seems…odd. I wouldn't be able to concentrate on the music and would just completely tune it out lol. But music while writing is a must - which reminds me that I need to explore more soundtrackey stuff. Lately I've just been listening to the radio and not actively seeking anything out.

But hells yesh to the book club idea! I love reading, but can you believe that I have never been part of a book club? Mostly because most of the book clubs I've seen read really boring books (aka not fantasy/sci-fi).

Yeah, I've never been part of a book club either XD I had a period where I stopped reading novels until picking them back up last year, but it's just something that sounds kinda neat to me. Same thing with maybe a movie club, perhaps? We could discuss titles etc a bit later on if a few of us are down on the idea, and such ^o^

Oh, I think a movie club would be fantastic as well. Hell, I love talking about any form of fiction really. Books. Movies. Video Games. You name it!

Also, regarding your "nomination." Hahaha, not a chance in the world.

I don't have a local library, so a book club thing isn't really an easy thing for me to do haha. Which is a shame, cause I'd be up for it otherwise. I don't have netflix or anything either, but I'm not a big film fan either way. Eh, we'll see.

With the music thing, I tend to drown it out when doing pretty much anything else haha. It's nice to have in the background, but I don't pay any attention to it.

In response to music weekend: lol Pacman yes, soak in Em & all his glory. I planned to make an Em-based sig like two weeks ago but never got around to it haha. B) Speaking of rap I've been rehooked on one of Infected Mushroom's psytrance-rap tracks, Artillery. Hoooboy, someone help me.

Just as Pacman's waiting for WT's new album to release, I'm also dying for Broken Bell's new album to come out on the fourth as well. They bring so much happiness into my life haha. Always got their stuff on repeat if I'm feeling down. :)



A movie club would be awesome haha. Not sure about a book club since, like Pacman, my backlog for that is already quite full & I'm probably the pickiest person in the world with books lol.

As a head's up I've got midterms on Tues, Wed, & Thurs, so just in case I miss out on a day or two. I probably shouldn't, but tossin out a disclaimer just in case. (Another midterm's on the 13th (next Thurs), but I should be all right with that one. My stupidly hard midterm is on the 21st (about three weeks from now?), so that entire week will be study havoc... :S I'll bring it back up again later haha, I just like leaving advance warnings;;; )

Sorry if I'm not on the ooc too often or as peppy as usual, I'm recovering from some mental breakdowns at the moment haha. The RP cheers me up though so I'm extremely glad to be a part of this group. ^^ Hope everyone's been having a better weekend than me hahaha. See ya guys in a bit.

Me, I love any and all types of music, although my preferred genre is rock. My favourite artists are Paramore, Celldweller and Within Temptation. I'm always open to trying new music and finding new artists which is why this is always my first question 8D

I don't watch much new anime these days, classics wise I loved Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell and Gurren Lagaan. I'm a massive comic/manga geek too and One Piece is my *w*

Videogames I'm into a lot of stuff too, although my favourite games and series are Trails in the Sky (almost out on Steam! Almoooooooost) and the Metal Gear Solid series. I love Resi Evil too but that's gone kinda downhill lately, Revelations excepted D|
