And what proof do you have that Zebras come from the Everfree Forest? One Zebra? Statistically, 100% of Zebras we've seen live in the Everfree. Realistically? There is no proof of it. This is a setting created by PoorYorick, and further made into In Nomine with the introduction of Gods.

If you want to point out any perceived "flaws" in something, then go ahead, just don't expect me to be happy about it. As for being rude; we've never been outright rude. We've been harsh, very harsh even, but we've never been rude. Your admit yourself that your God characters were bad, and that's a good thing, but you should also realise that when someone is so bad then it doesn't make people think that you've put a lot of thought behind them. I mean no offense when I say this, but when you see a "mad god with necromancy", the first thing I think of is someone who took the first and coolest thing they could think of. I agree, necromancy is a cool power, but it doesn't have a place here, and you wouldn't have picked it if you had carefully read the introduction.

But you can go ahead and create a Mortal Character. I'll be waiting to see what you cook up. Good luck, and remember what we said: Rip it apart once it's created; is there anything wrong with it?

You know I have to admit that the whole 'Alicorns are the third verse' of Faust's creations does kind of alienate the many other speices in the world, such as Griffins, Diamond Dogs and Minotaurs. Where are their gods in all of this?

As much as I agree on that, I didn't create the In Nominé. You have to ask Dawnscroll about that, I simply re-started the RP. I can only assume that the Alicorns are also protectors of Gryphons and Minotaurs and such, but look more like ponies because they're more numerous.

I believe in the show they say that Zecora comes from a savannah continent from the other side of the world. Or am I the only one that caught that?

From the wiki!

Twilight tells her friends that Zecora is a zebra and that she comes from "a faraway land".

The everfree forest is the next door neighbor of ponyville.

As to you sir when it comes to contructing à god or goddess thier spheres must in some way connect. There are hundreds of possibilities out there like the seasons elements such as fire earth (not water I think me and Torrential got that pretty much covered) there are also à miriad of emotions out there. Trust me I hadbtrouble starting à character out too just hang in there. And the critism might seem harsh (hell ot was harsh) but trust me in the long run an good buttkicking does wonders over à pat on the back and an 'at least you tried.'

Yes... Zecora comes from a far-off country, not the Everfree... When did we ever say that Zebras came from the Everfree? o_O There are Zebras in the everfree, Yes, but they come from a different country. I think we misunderstood each other initially (I know I misread your comment, thinking that you said Zebras came from the Everfree). Not once have we ever mentioned, nor does it mention anywhere in the info we have linked to in the intro post, that Zebras come from the Everfree. I don't think there's anything in Equestria Divided that says where Zebras came from, and we always assumed it was from a distant country like what the Show says.

Equestria is a society based on Magic. They have no need for advanced machinery which is why it is so mixed. Sure, they have trains, but some of those trains are pulled by ponies (I can't remember which episode it was, but there was one). They have some technology somewhere, but it's far from everywhere and doesn't saturate their society. This is a magical society, not a steampunk one.

*chuckles* Really guys? The Gods of the minotaur and the griffins and such... let's see....

Let's say the Alicorns... or let's say Harmony made pony/zebra kind in his image.

Who do you think made the rest of those mismatched guys?

In addition, the constant wars probably have rendered much of the infrastructure for trains (such as tracks) in ruins. And I imagine airships are limited to military or high official use only, maybe the occasional wacky trader.

Well things change in war. That's something to accept.
What about clockwork mechanisms? Good lord they do have clocks.

Alright, I'm going to say this once, and then no more: No. Steampunk.

I get that you like it, and I get that you want it, but this isn't a Steampunk world.

Trains are used to transport goods in wars. They would revere their tracks and keep them clean if they knew what the hell they were doing.

then no steampunk. But technologyy. What's my limit on the tech level. Give me a border and i'll obey it.
What about a hermit that does nothing but make wonderful pieces of technology to sell to the highest bidder?

Oi. Hold on. Do NOT bring clocks into this. I'm a fucking clock and watchmaker. It pissed me off every time when someone goes "Oh, so you can make steam punk stuff!"

No. We cant. Frankly, it's impossible. The balance spring only last a single day if wound properly, and clockwork is only good for one thing: turning in place. That's it. We can change speed and make calculations, but that's it. I can't look at a bunch of clock parts and say "By gum! Let's make a robot instead!" I couldn't even make the parts if I wanted too!

Dawnscroll, i don't expect to make a robot, sir. I expect to make more efficient war machines for my character to sell.

The Tech Level is what you can see in the show, as well as what is written by PoorYorick. What's written by PoorYorick is basically unpredictable weaponry: It's as likely to blow up in your face as it is likely to blow up your enemy. Imagine the earliest guns, but with a bit more firepower and a bit more unpredictable.
