@Giant: Drop a single one off in Constantinople and the entire Turkish fleet will be wiped out in a single turn.

"Colombian Defector Arrives in Constantinople and Single-Handedly Finishes Ottoman Army With a Revolver".

But to be truthful, my troops probably won't change all that much.

Please tell me you're trolling

Absolutely I am not. An argument requires two contending view points aimed at convincing the other. A discussion is a cooperative effort.

No, that isn't what I meant. I would never say anything like that under any circumstances, because it isn't in my personality. When I have a question to ask, I ask it. I don't sandwich my questions in between layers of ass-kissing.

The Ottomans raised 100,000 men with poorer infrastructure than me and gained income, yet I raised only 15,000 men and annexed the most industrialized nation in mainland Europe and LOST income.

It should not be the case that Belgium's income before my invasion was insufficient to afford to maintain 15,000 regulars. There are three explanations; either Outcast fudged the numbers to give the side opposing me a better chance, a mathematical error was made, or I rolled the lowest possible number capable for my plans to succeed at all, and the Ottomans rolled the highest possible number for all of their orders.

There is a difference between ass-kissing and showing decency/manners. Just as there is a difference between being truthful/blunt and being a jerk.

I noticed that Brazil revoked its recognition of the Confederacy, too. Perhaps the Union will be united soon.

More to the point Outcast, I believe you forgot one of my orders. About the breachloading cannon?

I have been told that if something fails and have no affect, then he doesn't put it in the update.

In which case either those were the 15,000 finest, most-experienced, most expensive regulars ever hired, or Outcast forgot to shift Belgium's income my way. If the case was that it was all simply an error, my only issue with the update would be the lack of consequences for the Ottoman debt. If their income stayed where it is, it would take them until 1954 to pay it off, assuming they never spend another dollar or anything else for those 91 years.

Their debt is literally over 9,000% of their income.

Rare, you should have let me know in advance if you wanted a treaty instead of just posting it in the IC thread.

There's some stuff I'd like to change to the treaty and it may be until the turn after this one before I can get to it since I have to pass the treaty with Japan with this batch of orders and need to keep as many orders open due to the war.

What's the matter guys? They're just a bunch of paper ships and club-weilding cavemen. No need to shit yourselves.
Just keep teasing me, it inspires me to greater and greater levels of cold-blooded murderous intent ;)

And just to put it out there, Outcast is doing a brilliant job, though I don't understand how such a puny nation like the Netherlands could raise such a force, even if they paid double. Just one of the countless mysteries of the world...
