Mayr sighed, sitting on the porch of a house, the residents unconscious on the porch behind him. He rubbed his hand against his upper arm. He had been checking houses for survivors, and some had attacked him, thinking he was part of the ones that were attacking the town. He had to beat the house owners unconscious, which had gotten both of them injured beyond bruises. He had a bit of blood on him, but he sat on the porch to make sure no one came to hurt them, and he hoped no one would come by, because it looked pretty suspicious. Though, he had to wait to be sure the individuals were safe.

Mayt saw Sasha leading a little girl through the cracks in the two buildings in front of him, and gets up, figuring that if she's with someone out in the open it's safe. He started walking back towards the boat as he sheaths his sword, sighing as he looks down at himself. The family had had a few small weapons that they had used, and he had taken a few scratches, but by the looks of it they weren't too deep. His shirt was fortunately dark, so it hid the stains. He started to start wiping his face with his sleeve, leaving just a couple cuts on his face. He looked at everyone back at the boat, and nodded to each in turn.

"I found a family, they're fine, but unconscious and may or may not have concussions." He'd say in general, before moving to the dock, ready to leave this place.

Sasha looked up as Mayt spoke speaking about the unconscious family. "Then I can leave the girl with them. They might know her" She said, sounding weary. She knelt by the girl, "I'm going to take you to some people, okay? They can look after you, I'm sure. give you a home and what not. The guild's no place for a little girl, after all" She took the girls hand in hers again, leading her through the town, until she found the family. She did what she could for them, before returning.

She sighed once more, took a deep, steadying breath, before going up to Mayt, taking out the healing potion. "I forgot to give this to you, after the job. It's a healing potion, and cn heal a person of all injury and such, for up to three drinks. I've already used one on Angelo's mother, to save her life. You deserve one for teaming up, even if it was just for one job"

She didn't look at him, didn't meet his eyes. "I'm also sorry"
Master Jamie sighed to herself, deciding that they had done the best they could, and made his way back to the docks and the boat. He would send a team of healers across, to do what they could for the survivors.

Her form changed to a medium height woman, with black hair, and brown eyes, of slight build. It was easier to walk in that form, and she yawned. He held loosely in one hand the borrowed blade from Damian, and would return it to him as soon as possible.

She reached the dock, getting on the boat, and conversing with the captain, before communicating with Jarvis, and trying Lazarus.

"Lazarus, return to the boat, or the guild. We'll be back in the guild soon"

Mayt smiles slightly when Sasha told the girl she'd be alright, and then winced when she went to go find the family. He had left them lying around in the living room, bloodied and battered. He rubbed the back of his head when Sasha came back, about to explain what happened when she started apologizing and giving him the potion. He didn't try to meet her eyes when she gave him the potion, feeling bad for taking it, but knowing if he tries to give it back she'll yell at him or something. He slid it into his pocket and sighed, feeling worse we she apologized.

"No, I'm the one who should be saying sorry Sasha. I've been avoiding you for the past month so that I could give you something when I apologized." Mayt scratches the back of his head, blushing a little. "So... Well, here's the unfinished sorry project." He pulls something out of his back pocket and hands it to Sasha. "I mean... I suck at whittling." It's a very bad wooden sculpture of the fish sculpture she had used to demonstrate her abilities to him, it's not very good, she can barely tell it's a fish, but he obviously did it himself.

Sasha looked up when Mayt began to speak, curious when he said about giving her something. She couldn't imagine what he had been working on for a month, for her, yet she found herself curious, wanting to know, and excited, accepting the gift when he handed it to her.

She blinked, studying the wooden object. It was poorly made and she took a moment to figure out what it was, and she found herself smiling, curling her fingers around it gently, tenderly. "Oh! It's wonderful. I love it, thank you" Mayt might not think it was much, that it wasn't good, but Sasha thought it was perfect, simply because he had made it for her.

She held it close, and gave him a smile. "It's perfect and it doesn't need to be finished" she hadn't been given a gift in years, not since her parents had died. She quickly gave Mayt a hug, before stepping back

Mayt would blush more then Sasha hugs him, and she retreats before he gets a chance to hug back, and he rubs the back of his head. "So let's call everything even?" He gives her a smile, and glances back over at the town, then back to her. "To be honest, I'm not sure weather to use that elixir now or save it. I has two gulps left, but, the only that's gonna kill me in this state is if I get some raging flesh-eating parasite or something, which I highly doubt will happen." He gives her another smile, and looks at himself. "That family would've probably taken out an unfortunate member of whatever group that was terrorizing this town, I don't remember. My magic is all that kept me from getting bludgeoned and stabbed to death." He talks about it like it's nothing now, and he looks over Sasha, seeing if she was harmed too much.

The lacrima in his waistcoat buzzed, before the master's voice transmitted. He was told to return to the boat so they could go home. True, it'd been some time since he'd seen the guild because of the job he'd been on. It would be nice to go home. He sighed. "Aye.. It'll be nice to get a rest." He was about to reply via the lacrima when something caught his eye. He swooped down and dragged something out of the water. He growled. It was the same marking as he had seen on the people they were fighting just now. It was a flag of some sorts, he had no idea.

"Master, I will return now." He turned in the air and sped back towards the guild's boat. After a little while, he landed very heavily on the boat deck, both feet making a huge thump on the wood. He looked pretty angry. Those guys they had fought, were bad news, and made him angry. He gripped the flag harder, before standing in front of the master. He held the flag up and kept the frustrated look on his face. "This is all I found. They escaped heaven's eye. I'm sorry master." He sighed, letting a little bit of anger out of his system. "Next time, we'll show them not to make enemies of Phoenix wing!" He grinned.

Sasha nodded and smiled "it was always even. Just more so." She carefully put the wooden fish in her satchel, looking Mayt over. She had assumed that he got his injuries from fighting the Ragged Brotherhood, but guessed now he got it from frightened survivors who had tried to fight. It was probably a good thing it was Mayt they had attacked, she was sure the Ragged Brotherhood would have killed them.

"No, you won't die from them, unless you get an infection" she rummaged, taking out her wound salve, "just smear this over them and you'll be right as rain. Save the elixir for when you really need it" she advised, seeing him look at her. She looked down at herself, but she wasn't really injured, just very weary. "I'm fine" she promised him, "just used too much magic. I walked on water" she let out a small laugh at that, "and I tried to put out the fire. And then there was the running" she shrugged.

She looked up as Lazurus returned, and remembering his drink offer, she looked away quickly, looking down to hide her blush as her hair hide her face. "Uh, let's find a place to sit" she said to Mayt, as she briefly looked around for Angelo. She knew the master wouldn't leave without everyone, so not seeing him on the boat wasn't a big deal.
Master Jamie watched the skies for any sign of Lazurus returning, on e the heavenly Mage had said he was coming back. She turned when Lazarus thumped down on the deck. He let Lazurus get the anger out his system, taking the flag, and studying the mark on it.

"You did well, Lazurus. We will put this up on the request board, so that everyone knows to look for this guild mark. We will also try and find the guild itself. Next time, we will be prepared, and next time, we will all be there from the start. They will know the wrath of Phoenix Wing!"

Mayt nodded to Sasha, and smiled at her, nodding and taking the salve. "Thanks." He would listen to her talk as he put in a pocket, a different one than the potion. "And I'm glad your fine, sounds like you had a small adventure. I just fought a few scared people." He chuckles, and gives her a smile, looking up when she does to spot the man flying overhead. He shrugged, and looked back towards Sasha. "Yeah, a place to sit would be fine, give me a chance to apply that salve." He gave her a happy smile, and started to head towards the boat. "And sorry for not being at the guild lately, my Uncle had an employee suddenly quit on him and he had me work for him until he got a new one. Seems like I got back just in time to help out for this, eh?" He chuckles.

Lazarus was pretty exhausted, he hadn't used magic like that in quite a while. The job he had been on... hadn't required the use of powerful magic. Especially not the tower of judgement. He was beat. "Thank you master, heaven will smight them!" He grinned and pumped his fist.

He turned his head to see Sasha with Mayt. She was avoiding eye contact with him. It hurt a little, but he was a ladies man... this wouldnt deter him. It happened all the time. He grew his wings, and floated over to them, setting down far enough away from them to back out but close enough to talk. "Sasha... chan." He spoke in a calm soothing voice. Flicking his hair a little bit he approached. "Where is Angelo? We need to return to the guild, we found their banner." He squinted his eyes a little. Although shorter than him, Sasha had an amazing presence. "I've never seen your ice that powerful, it was impressive." He smiled. He knew that Mayt was there too. "Long time no see Mayt."

Sasha nodded and once they were on the boat, she found them some seats, settling down gratefully. "It's okay. I wondered where you went to. I thought you were avoiding me" she looked out over the island, a little saddened that they couldn't help out more, but knowing they'd reached their limits. She looked back to Mayt and nodded "perfect timing" she agreed with a smile, looking up as Lazurus approached.

She bit her lip, nervous. She took a deep breath, berating herself. "I guess I just wanted to help, and...well I wasn't thinking. Just doing. Paying for it now" she said, managing to smile genuinely. continue, don't stop "um. I will have that drink with you" it had been too long, and she had missed Lazurus company. It was just too close to what Angelo's mother said, thinking that she and Angelo were a couple. Sasha had never really thought about having any sort of romantic relationship, assuming she wasn't on any ones radar.

She blushed again, and looked down at her hands, and took another deep breath, steadying herself

It had been some time since Selk and Sylla had wandered from the grove they called home. They needed the exercise, really. Selk had plans to help unload the Lacrima shipment that was on its way. Sylla came along for the wild ocean salmon. It was the best. It'd probably be some time before the shipment arrived, but Selk had nothing better to do. He was quite early, but he and Sylla sat on the shore watching the seemingly unchanging horizon. Eventually, he and Sylla found themselves asleep.

Selk didn't dream often, but when he did his dreams were often muddled and confusing. This was a thought that lingered on Selk's sleeping mind, but he didn't actually dream this time. It was more like he had shut his eyes for a few moments. But when he awoke, it was not due to the boat's arrival. He was awoken when a salmon was dropped on his face. The wet salmon was a sudden thing, scaring the sleeping Selk. When he realized what it was though, he ate the meal with a smile. It was good, as well as raw. That was Selk's favorite type of meal. Raw. Cooking a meal burned away much of the flavor for Selk. It was not the way food was meant to be eaten.

Soon, Selk saw a boat on the horizon. It was probably the lacrima shipment, as few boats came this way. He stood, dusting himself off. He was looking forward to seeing how the mission went, and whether or not the islanders were convinced to unite under the Ragged Brotherhood's banner. As he stretched, he heard Sylla let out a low growl, accompanied by the sound of some leaves rustling. "Jimmies?" Selk asked the air around him as he waited for the source of the noise to step forward.

Isaac was starting to worry.
The Ragged Brotherhood was always swift with missions, even the more difficult ones.
His guild had ways of making things go their way, he knew that much.
Deciding to get up from his bed and leave his room, he wandered from the guild once again.
After his fiasco in Magnolia, he couldn't go back for a long while which made him frustrated.
So Isaac walked through the forest that surrounded the Brotherhood's territory.
No matter what, Isaac looked at the ground, straight ahead or up when in the forest.
The visions he'd received on the day he'd lost his mind made trees terrifying.
"Nature will regain it's former glory!
He shook his head to get the visions and the sentence from his head.
Isaac soon found himself at the shore, south of the Brotherhood's base.
He stepped through a bush that blocked his path, causing the bush to produce a loud rustling noise.
"Sarvog..." Isaac had always feared the sort of Druid.
Halfway through the bush, he stopped and simply waited, hoping he could wander away from this place without notice.

Angelo used mark to lead him back to the boat and within a half hour he got back and jumped onto the boat and laid down to relax "sorry master Jamie I couldn't keep track of them" Angelo said softly trying to think about how he would be able to face off against the dark guild as time went by. Although he couldn't keep track of them he knew that master Jamie would come up with a plan although by this point the idea may have already been said and Angelo was simply not around to hear any of it. so for the time being Angelo went to the deck of the ship and laid down to watch the clouds go by...

Lazarus noticed that she was getting shy on him. "Hey..." He grumbled a little, before touching her chin and making her look at him. "It's... just... a drink in the guild, there's no need to be so embarrassed Sasha-chan." He grinned. "Just doing eh? How long have you been 'just doing?' Heaven would approve of of your actions today." He smiled. "Putting it all on the line, that's what being in Phoenix wing is all about!" He grinned again. "So tell me Sasha-chan, are you a mead girl? or do you have a favorite drink in mind?" He smiled, trying to show her she didnt have to be embarrassed talking to him. Back in the city, he was used to girl's waning on him. He was voted one of the most attractive wizards in sorcerer weekly after all. However, Sasha wasn't an ordinary girl in the street. She was the cute ice mage from his childhood guild.

Damian was sitting on one of the spikes that the wooden pier was attached to, steaming over the fact that his attack hadn't even scratched the woman with the necromancer. None of his attacks had destroyed the stronger skeletons either, seemed more like they'd tickled. Still, he'd managed to help force the Brotherhood into a retreat at least, which was a plus. As Kelthar boarded the boat, he sighed heavily and followed him, silently promising to train more and get stronger for the next time, and have a new list of spells to throw at them as well. And I'll for sure unleash Armageddon Storm on them next time. There won't be any escape from it. Taking a seat near Sasha, he waits for her to finish talking with the guild mates who were clearly friends of hers before saying anything.

Sasha wasn't stupid. If it was just a drink in the guild, she was sure he would have asked others too. But she felt better when he said it, as if he didn't want to pressure her, or make it seem more then a friendly drink, and she relaxed. "Um. I guess since I joined te guild. I want to be an asset...not a burden" she shrugged, trying to explain what she felt, but unable to. "Uh. Meads okay" she said, having not explored much with drinks. She smiled, looking over when she saw out the corner of her eye Damian sit down by her. She gave him a wave, and a "hey" turning back to the others, she said "this is Damian, a new recruit. I think he held up well today" she smiled at Damian, "how did you like your first adventure with the guild?" She asked

He chuckled. "Darling... you aren't a burden. My holy magic wouldn't have been able to put out that fire without your ice." He smiled and looked as she pointed out Damien. "Nice to meet you, Heaven didn't allow us to fight together today. How are you liking Phoenix wing?" He grinned. He realized that his wings were still formed. Embarrassed, he deformed them and straightened his coat. "I'm lazarus. I use holy angel magic." He folded his arms.

Damian smiles to Sasha and nods to Lazarus before addressing Sasha's question. "It was different from what I was expecting for a first job. I just wish I could have done more." He slides his cutlass into the sheath on his waist and leans back with a heavy sigh. "Damian Gerald. I use Blades Magic." he summons the little knife blade and spin it on the tip of his finger by the tip of the blade. Sighing again, he leans back and closes his eyes with one arm behind his head. "I normally set them up for a Blade Rain, but I used a lot of magic energy in those bigger attacks before the Ragged Brotherhood got away from us. In other words," he chuckles, "I'm actually kind of tired."

Eight years...eight years of training and practicing and perfecting all to get beat by the first competent wizard I meet. Absolutely pathetic...And in my effort to catch them, I may very well have left villagers to die...Good god, I screwed up... Dispersing the knife blade, I lean forward again with a sad and disheartened look on my face.

Mayt nods, seeing the two are having a good conversation, and he heads to the front of the ship silently. He looks out across the water, smiling. The water had always been a safe place for Mayt, he could swim very well, and he had always thought the cushion of water could protect him from most anything. He yawns, then sits down, pulling out the salve Sasha had given him and starting to apply it to his injuries. He wasn't majorly injured, and he knew he should leave those two alone so they could talk. He watched the water as he worked, waiting for the boat to get underway. He wanted to be heading back so he could grab some bandages. He hummed softly to himself as he worked.

Sasha nodded and smiled, "I know I'm not a burden. I don't know how to explain it...I just want to be helpful, and do the best I can" she said, seeingr Mayt move away, she watched him for a moment, and decided he just needed time to himself, or so she hoped.

She turned back to Damian as he spoke, feeling the ship moving back to the mainland, and hoped that everyone was on board. "It's been a very energy sucking day" she agreed,, studying Damian. "You shouldn't think that you failed today. It's been a long day, and we weren't here to stop it from occurring right away, it was an emergency request and we did the best we could. We saved who we could, and that's the point" she said, "stay positive. The Master will find this guild, and then we can show them what it means to be a wizard of Phoenix Wing"
