if there is to be a map made, A note for the Hau and humanity. The only real border Hau officially share is a very small border with sigmas nation. As that was the point of first contact with humanity. just a fyi, if that makes sense even..

A map will indeed feature. If anyone fancies themselves a dab hand at that sort of thing feel free to volunteer

Well, I could map the entire galaxy in Universe Simulator. I already have the entire Stoor System mapped, all I would need is to put down a Galactic Center and four triangulation points around it and I could recreate the home systems of every faction and all the important locations as long as I was provided with data regarding distance from the galactic core (with additional distances from the other points to increase accuracy). I couldn't really draw any borders, but it's not like those would matter as much in space.

I could even put down fleet locations and the like.

My NS is done, I admit it is short compare to you guys, but when all your technology has yet to be made real, and all your social interactions are non existent, things are a bit short.

Of course things will be interesting for me to rp though, made sure of that.

EDIT: Also funfact, if you can get an optical image to find it the Araki home system still exists, and there are literally dozens of fleets of ships just sitting there, they are old but they are there.

Here's my analysis of the Stoor's interaction with the Virus.

On the assumption that the Virus infects conventional technology - ship systems, computers, A.I., etcetera, the Virus is incapable of infiltrating Stoor society due to the complete absence of electronic appliances, devices, or any other form/entity that makes use of basic computing principles.

I base this assumption entirely off of descriptions of how the Virus spread as listed in their History. Quite frankly, the description is unhelpfully vague and ambiguous and I was forced to make a lot of guesswork. You describe their initial spread as limited to technological systems, but you shift to describing them as capable of infecting organic entities halfway through without providing any mechanism or impetus for such. For all I know, the Virus might have multiple forms capable of infecting organic creatures in a more conventional fashion - but I don't, because the information to infer such simply is not there. The most enlightening piece of information was the description of the Mind Control Chip produced by your cosmetics industry, but that simply raised more questions because I have no idea how it relates or differs from the Virus itself.

In short, this is a request for you to elaborate upon the actual nature of the Virus in such a way as I can actually tell you whether or not you've managed to penetrate every layer of Stoor civilization. I can appreciate it if you would like to keep the information obscured, and so if you don't want to I won't press the issue. But I will retain the power to deny any and all influence the Virus might have amongst the Stoor - retroactively if necessary - if, when their actual nature and functionality is revealed, it turns out they did not have the capacity implied in your sheet. Which would be faintly inconvenient.

Ok so first thing, i never stated the Virus could infect organics, the BCI is a technological chip implanted into someone to allow a rouge intelligence control, the BCI is a machine in of itself, just using polymers and other non metallic parts.

And i have no cosmetics industry, or any industry at all, the Virus infects computer systems and uses them to observe life and gather data on it, the only physical asset the Virus possesses is the Server World.

If you have any more questions pop in the FF chat, i would be glad to edit my app to make things more clear to anyone reading in the future. http://us20.chatzy.com/1433603402

@Sigma; here's a few ideas for some shared history; if we share borders on the cosmographical map.

First Contact War: At one point the Federation and the Hegemony were unaware of eachother's existence; and the Graal would most likely have stumbled upon a Federation world while colonizing new solar systems. The Graal, who have no desire to seek peaceful relations with weak willed humanoids launched a series of attacks; orbital bombardments and planetary invasions of the Federation's colonies ensued, with a blitzkrieg of the Graal legions that overtook the small planetary garrisons, the Graal threat seemed magnified when the Federation discovered, at the Battle of Harushka that the Graal; even when outnumbered and outgunned, do not surrender and do not retreat.

For the first six months, the Federation failed to materialize a victory until Federation high command intercepted Graal communique's indicating they were intending to invade larger, more industrialized Federation planets and staged an intercept at their rendezvous point. This sneak attack; the Battle of Relay Tango-November saw the destruction of the Graal High Command; and in the next two years the Federation; utilizing stolen Graal radio commands destroyed two of it's Legions and reclaimed it's planetary holdings, returning the Graalo-Federation borders to the status quo.

That was just an idea I saw in my head. Take it apart. Add stuff. Subtract stuff. Tell me what you think.

Here's a cosmographical map of the Graal Hegemony; I can do the entire spiral galaxy as well.

So if I have a quadrant spanning nation due east of sol on the map I provided. Where is the graal. For you to be in the south east and able to reach earth.. you'd have to go through me.or be south rather than south east.

Hau is a huge nation.

I can put Sol anywhere, though I usually put it near the galactic center for simplification reasons.

I had a question about the types of power in the sheet. What exactly would a social or political power type entail?

I am considering a small race of probably synthetic lifeforms, quite old in relation to many of the other empires and having witnessed the rise and fall of a number of civilizations. Since Darkmatter seems to have explained it's very difficult if not near impossible to travel through dark space for the Technocracy, I would think the same thing would apply to most of the other civilizations. Because of that, I am thinking these synthetics actually live in dark space intentionally to avoid intrusions, living on ships that tear resources from planets orbiting dim or dead stars, or even no star at all, using graviton manipulation. Which kind of ties into how they survive and travel dark space with ease; they're masters of graviton manipulation, to the point that they integrate miniaturized graviton manipulators into their suits/bodies combined with miniaturized fusion reactors to enable their individuals to move extremely quickly and potentially 'fly' for limited distances or mimic telekinesis using the graviton manipulators.

It's all very nebulous but I'm thinking they're known by much of the galaxy as the Cartographers, or Watchers, or something else. Their aim is primarily observation and exploration, as well as experimentation with primordial worlds among a few other aims. Their mastery of graviton drives combined with prior knowledge of the layout of the galaxy would enable their ships to flit from place to place extremely quickly with little warm-up or planning involved. Thus their emphasis is on avoiding conflict.

Obviously this brings up the problem of interacting with other species. Which is interesting. I'm still mulling it over but I wanted to put it out there to get opinions.

These are some pictures I liked from deviantart;

Sigma and Theodorable, don't make any solid plans yet because nation placement is in flux right now. Seeing as we have 2 earth players and from what I can tell the graal originate from within hau borders. Need this cleaned up first.

Also, sizzling Bacon, check isotopes nation sheet. Your current idea is almost identical.
