Also, sizzling Bacon, check isotopes nation sheet. Your current idea is almost identical.
Isotope is a machine virus, one that also attempts to control organics. They seem to be completely different to me.

Just a question: IS it possible to have an ancient species that went extinct, but has some population samples still preserved in various, unknown sites? Obviously, they would be severely limited in numbers, territory and understanding of current affairs, but it's an idea I'd really like to explore. Just throwing that out there :P

@Monkey pants: The orion arm doesn't meet the crux-scutum arm as the orion arm isn't an arm at all it's a spur. The Orion Arm is located between the Carina–Sagittarius Arm (toward the Galactic Center) and the Perseus Arm (toward the outside Universe) and so the carina sagittarius arm is always between it and the crux-scutum.I'm assuming the tachyon weapon works by exciting tachyons in a chamber that then impart impulses on the matter dumped in?

Sorry if I wasn't clearer with my description, as well with the Tachyon array. I'll address the arm first. On the map above, I was meaning the region where the Crux arm, Carina arm and Orion 'spur' are closest. A large swath of that area. or quadrant, how ever you wish to divvy up the galaxy. that'd be the location. Moving dangerously close to human borders and in the case of Sigma, actually having a DMZ between us due to a conflict a while back. That's my request. I must reiterate, it's supposed to be a big nation.Secondly, with the Tachyon weapon, I'll re-word it in the NS to reflect the weapons updated description. It creates a Tachyon stream and other dense and radioactive elements are dumped in to it, and in turn dragging them along at faster than light speed. So it hits with the Tachyons along with various other metals and radioactive element particles.. Is this updated description agreeable?Edit: I believe the majority of the NS is complete.. Now comes the daunting task of Writing up a history. I'm likely going to keep it short and sweet... I'm just more interested in making -new- history via IC rp..

Can we have a post somewhere with all the civilizations and like a paragraph explaining them? I have no real desire to constantly murk about in the threads that people have put up trying to find out who is who.

I like.I was planning to use D'ni for Stoor signage, but I didn't want to clutter the nation sheet itself with images - on the old forums, there was a limit of something like 36 images per post. Unsure if that still applies.Did you make these yourself, or are they a part of fictional language I'm not aware of?
