(You need only apply your faction and faction leader. Persons of note should probably be included in the factions Geo-Political Position if you feel they are relevant enough, but you don't need to app every single person in the faction separate.)
Name: Union of Soviet Socialist Republics
Series of Origin: Shadowrun (Minus Eurowars)
Government Type: Marxist-Leninism
Executive Leader: Viktoriya Petrovna
Geo-Political Position:
The USSR is the influential leader of the so called "Directorate", and wishes to combine the resources, technologies, and magick of the various factions on the current world. Using these resources, it intends to gain access to other parralel worlds, find its way home, or begin earnest colonization of earth like or terraformable planets.
Currently, the USSR is pursuing better relations with neutral countries, maintaining their contacts with their allies, and are at a standoff with the Atlantic Federation.
Military Capabilities: The Soviet Union, being a technologically advanced faction has recovered quickly from the transport to this planet. Still, most infrastructure is complexly and totally dated compared to that of 2070- in some ways a burden, but also an advantage for rebuilding. With the slums and seedy parts of the country gone, the chance for a true rebuilding of Russia and her satellites can begin in earnest. Most overt funding recently has gone into investments in "reconstruction", and this has paid off to a very high degree. Despite this economic focus, the Soviet Union has and still owns a significant army, navy, and air force, and it is currently being reformed and standardized. Owing to its cold war roots, it is quite effective at "Power Projection" and "Shadow Wars", and the internal security forces have only gotten tighter because of this new world.
Population Estimate: 302,052,584
Claimed Areas: USSR dejure(Russia, Baltics, Steppes, Mongolia, Ukraine, Belarus)
Name: Viktoriya Vasilisa Petrovna
Age: -
Species: Human
Position/Job: Premier of the Soviet Union
Basic Bio: Petrovna was born many years ago in Siberia, part of an irrelevant and small family. Though the Soviet Union had always been a powerful player in world geopolitics, its power had clearly been trumped by corporations a long time ago. This girl disliked that thought, and secretly thought to unchain the bonds placed on Russia and her allies by the corporate council. She rose through the military and political ranks over time, and her abilities as a mage certainly helped. With the Soviet Union transported to a mirror of her Earth, she used that chance to overthrow the corporate presence in the Soviet Union and reestablish the parties power.
Skills:
Charisma- The capability to command and impel others, as well as leading a country. It goes without saying that someone as high up as her has ample amounts of this, along with the paranoia that comes with it. Includes political skill.
Basic Military skills- As a veteran of the military, she knows how to handle a weapon. Her specialty falls in strategy and tactics.
Engineering- She understands how to prepare siege craft, items, and to sustain logistics for the military. This is at a grand level(Such as countrywide infrastructure) and a tactical level(Building a bridge to move army forces up)
Weapons: N/A
Abilities:
Magician- Capable of using magic in a variety of ways and forms. Particuarly useful if you're a paranoid Premier in the political battleground that is the Supreme Soviet.
Nanomachines- Because she would lose some of her magical abilities if she used biological or cybernetic augmentation, she uses nanomachines to augment her body. As the Premier, she has access to whatever she needs.
Coalitions:
Directorate of Combined Global Hegenenomy by Force is an intentional organization consisting of an several nations who share the common belief of a Totalitarian government for the world to stay stable. A strong central government who must not be opposed is the true way for peace to spread throughout the world, and the countries who join are willing to do anything to make sure this dream becomes a reality. As they are constantly having conflict and skirmishes with the UDF, they are heavily reliant on their military and aren't afraid to take any action when threatened.
The Directorate is not necessarily an evil faction, but it is not good either. It mainly revolves around the idea that the solution to being trapped on this Earth will be best presented when the world is fully united. A united Earth will have enough resources to properly figure a way out of this planet, or to find out what happened to it. Some within it truly believe in this idea, and others simply wish for more power. The alliance itself is relatively strong; its objective is conquest of the world to establish order over it. This loyalty, no doubt, may fall apart when the factions who simply want order and stability clash with those who want more power should they conquer the world. It is a strong, but very "driven by circumstance and common goals" alliance.
The Directorate is based in Moscow, and its central body is called the Central Hemicycle. It is a semi democratic ruling body with a single seat for each faction, three of which are the Triumvirate. Though it appears democratic at a glance, the ones with real power are the Triumvirate, and they are the three top dogs of The Directorate. The seats are called "The Left Seat, Right Seat, and Central Seat". Each one has equal power in theory, but in practice the Central Seat is the strongest of the three.
(The Central Seat holders faction must be based in Moscow, and be one of the top factions within this Coalition. The other two have no other requirements other than being influential enough, be it through military power or technology, etc. )
The United Defense Front is a reactionary faction. It was formed second, after the creation of the Directorate. The UDF is a country willing to do anything to complete its objectives; which, for the most part, seem to be stability, investigation into the current state of the world, and the eventual escape from this planet, if such a decision is reached. Some members tend to be democracies, while others simply wish to not 'stir the pot', or simply wish to figure out ways to get off planet immediately. It is a non democratic coalition, and it is quite pragmatic; despite being a reactionary organization made to counter the Directorates influence, it has certainly staged more false flags, initiated more proxy wars, and has fought a harder "behind the scenes" war. If the Directorate has started the outbreak of cold war like hostilities with the UDF, the UDF has certainly kept the fire going.
It is based in London, and is led by the UDF High Council. It has a single centralized political leader, and they are the ones currently in control of the British Isles. It is non democratic, and the members of the council are merely the leaders of the factions that are a part of the UDF. They are fairly centralized, but because of the relative equality between members of the council, it can get deadlocked in terms of decisions at times.
More commonly known as the Copenhagen Coalition, the Coalition of the Proactive Enforcement of Non-aligned Nations(CPEGNN) is an international organization consisting of nations who want no part in the unofficial war between the United Defence Front and the Directorate. Deriving their name from the Copenhagen Treaty from which the coalition was formed, the Copenhagen Coalition is created from nations who were forced to band together to protect each other from being economically or militarily strongarmed individually into taking a side in the war. Athough the coalition will stand united in the face of Directorate or UDF threats, aside from the foreign war policy of mutual nonalignment and the preservation of such each member of the coalition remains mostly sovereign.
The Copenhagen Coalition is a faction born from necessity. Most countries within it don't even consider it a "faction" but something more like a mutual defense pact to ensure their own neutrality. Those within it have various reasons to be there; some may believe that they are better off finding a way off the planet alone. Others think that the best course of action is to simply accept the world around them. Regardless of objective for being within the alliance, it is effective. When one country or faction is attacked, they all consider themselves attacked. It goes without saying the various countries hold summits in Copenhagen, Denmark. There isn't really a 'leader' of the Copenhagen Coalition, considering its nature.
The home of most mercs.
This is a crossover roleplay taking place on the planet Earth. Though it is Terra, humanity is gone. It's as if everyone simply disappeared one morning. The infrastructure is intact, of course; but humanity itself is gone. Resources and other such things are in the same places as before, and so on. You may claim any area on the planet for your faction, but as a general rule the size of your faction and its capacity to manage that land and populate it is how much you're allowed to start out with. The maximum size of your faction really depends on the faction itself for very large factions, but we'll work with you on that.
Factions will be organized within three coalitions. To make sure you aren't in a four front war, your location may be limited depending on what coalition you are in.Almost any faction or character is acceptable, within reason. It's very case by case, but people who are powerful enough to make whole factions irrelevant in the face of their power should not be applied.
Also, factions that are unable to properly communicate with others(For example, the Flood, Tyranids, Necrons, etc.) will not be included in any of the three coalitions and will be their own entities.Though the RP will have faction versus faction fighting, plot twists will occur, and a major theme of this RP is figuring out exactly what happened to Earths inhabitants. They were gone when your hosts "invited" you to this planet. Only time and effort can tell you why this world was chosen, and what, exactly, happened to it.
(OCs and single characters can be apped. No need to app an entire faction if you don't wanna~ They can operates as mercs or be loyal to a specific coalition and faction. Also, assuming there is interest in this, don't claim land on the map just yet, though you're free to tell us any faction(or character) you're interested in using~!)

Also, to clarify on a few things; things like the Force, or special universe mechanics are inclusive. What does that mean? If you are a Jedi, it means you can do Jedi things; the force exists, but only for you. To put it into terms, it means that Jedi can still control things with their minds spew lightning(If Sith) and so on. But the Force in this world, the all encompassing thing Jedi's rely on, does not exist except within the Jedi themselves. This only really applies to things like the force.
In addition, people such as Servants who are only affected by magic will still only be harmed by magic. However, any magic here will work. Things like magic resistance and the like depend on a case by case basis on what they stop and don't stop.
Factions have already arrived on this Earth for about six months now. While most infrastructure was intact, there has been some damage, so it is necessary for your faction to repair modern earth buildings and such to a degree before they can earnestly use them. The planet itself is ours for the most part, though there are signs of war here and there, among other oddities. Most military technology such as nuclear weapons or military grade weapons seem to have been removed, but you can easily make your own if you learn how to operate a factory for them and then repair and use it.
Special materials your faction needs to run itself with(For example, sakuradite) do not exist on this Earth; or if they do, they have yet to be discovered. In either case, your faction has a stockpile of that material that should last one year, and in the event of a total war, it will last six months. A solution for this resource problem will be presented later on in the roleplay.
Treat unclaimed areas as neutral, unaligned nations; they will be used if someone joins after the roleplay begins. Keep in mind that on top of being a neutral organization created for mutual defense, the Copenhagen Coalition hosts summits as a forum for all countries on the current earth to speak to one another.
