Connor looked over to were Paige spoke of "company". A vampire was going on a massacre, killing the unlucky humans near him. Connor stared as the brave soul charged the vampire from behind. A part of him wanted to help, but he felt useless without a weapon. "We need something, but I think all we can do is run," he said, feeling terrible for saying that. Retreating felt cowardly, but there was no way they could take on an armed vampire weaponless.
The Manager was about to begin looking through the available humans when a knock was heard on the door. Giving a glance at his cameras and seeing Ishiya he yelled, "Come in Ishiya." The Manager looked back at Isaac. "I suppose we can speak about this later." He presumed Ishiya was just here to ask about the hunt and would be on her way after he granted her permission.
Nixon did not see the human approach him from behind to give him a nice "pat" on the head, but could tell who they were: not the brightest. Nixon was knocked and staggered for a couple steps before turning. "Bad idea," was all Nixon said before he blinked behind the human from a few feet. "Heroic, but seriously, you don't even have a weapon. Did you have any thoughts of what to do after you punched me?" Nixon blinked again and appeared right in front of the boy, giving a wicked grin. He grabbed at the boy then blinked them up twenty feet in the air. Nixon let go and blinked away back to the ground. He felt like that was a good enough punishment. He considered sticking the human when he fell but decided to keep him alive. He'd be fun in the second phase.
