Isa crossed her arms waiting for Roxy's actual answer. If she said no, than Isa would leave. She would have defeated Roxy without even putting up fists. But if Roxy said yes, than at least Isa would have a chance to earn her victory.

Machina turned towards the person she thought might have been speaking to her. She did not know him, uncertain if he had introduced himself at the beginning of gym the last few classes. nonetheless Machina bowed her head towards Zed as a farewell and nodded towards the stranger (Parax), accepting him as her opponent. Before she went to wait by the wall she turned towards the teacher. "Would we be getting out powers and weapons for our spar, or shall we only fight with what we have now?" No one, aside from the very few who had answered rightly with the teacher in Life Skills, actually had their weapons or powers, or so Machina was informed.

"You will be allowed to use your powers but that will not always be the case. It is important for you to learn to fight with and without the powers you have." Apostolos replied calmly.

Isa looked between Raze and Roxy. Isa had already come to challenge Roxy, but it seemed that Roxy denied her. Raze had arrived to challenge Isa, and she wasn't going to object. She had no reason to. "If Roxy denies my challenge than I'll be your partner. Discuss it with her. I'll be waiting by the wall." Isa walked over to the wall that Apostolos told them to wait by, standing alone until either Raze or Roxy chose who would be fighting her.

Perry continued to avoid Lucius, and before he could really try to talk to her again she left him behind. "Dammit!" he cursed outloud. She was certainly playing hard to get, but he'll figure out a way. The devil always does. He flew down to the gym after her and hid his wings. Looked like everyone was pairing up, but why? Lucius simply strolled in and looked for who didn't seem to be paired up yet.
Machina nodded her head and went to wait at the wall for her battle. Hopefully she would at least get her full armament back; she was unaware of what her divine powers would manifest into, but she was certain that if she could don her armor and obtain her firearms, she would be able to stand toe-to-toe with most of the other gods. Not literally at least; she preferred ranged combat over melee.
