Oh yeah, I forgot to bring that up.

So, I know that the black guild is going for guild supremacy, the green guild is being neutral and the blue guild is trying to have fun, but what do the other guilds actually do?

Appearance (Real Life):

(The gun is a paintball replica)
Height: 6'7
Weight: 166lb
Hair Color: Red
Eye Color: Blue
Name: Amy Firebrand
Age: 17
History: Amy is something of a delinquent. This mostly was due to her almost absurd size; even as a baby she was as big as her older brother, who was three at the time. Normally being big might have made her a target for bullying, but no, she was quick to use her size to make sure she didn't get picked on. But this only made her look like a bully herself, since she usually towered over just about anyone who had a problem with her, and didn't back down from a challenge. So growing up, Amy was always seen as the "Bad guy" since she seemed to be stronger than everyone else who kept fighting her. But she didn't want to be the bad guy, she just didn't want to have to pretend weakness in order to get people to leave her alone.

Most of her problems growing up really revolved around constantly trying to show that she isn't "weak" in some way or form. Someone thinks that she isn't athletic, and she goes all out to prove them wrong. People thing she's stupid, and she holds nothing back to ace every test they throw at her. But she get's so riled up and is so aggressive, that she doesn't really "Keep" the skills she picks up. She'd join sports for a few months and forgets about it, since she never really liked the sports anyways. She'd study her butt off for tests but by the end of the year she'll only remember that she had learned it at some point. Amy get's so caught up in proving people "Wrong" that she doesn't really enjoy what she does. She doesn't even enjoy proving people wrong, and just does it to get them to stop bothering her.

When shew as around 13 she started playing Deep Ground, just as many kids would. She found it to be cathartic; she could finally stop constantly holding herself back and just go all out against her enemies without being seen as a "Bully". Funnily enough, this freedom taught her now to reign in her passion and take things easy for once. Deep Ground, for all it's importance around fighting, was the one place where Amy could just relax and enjoy the game itself, instead of all the life-related issues about it.
Appearance (Avatar):

Avatar Class: Sniper Gunner
Avatar Title: White Death
Avatar Level (Initial): 2
Avatar Guild: Ivory Masks
Avatar Abilities:
Old Fashion - White Death is uniquely able to turn all Sniper Rifles into Bows instead. They retain the same powers and stats, however they function differently; the arrows move "Slower" than bullets, but are capable of being shot in an arc over or around obstacles. Instead of magazines, the White Death can shoot indefinitely but only as fast as she can manually notch, pull, and release her arrows. Additionally, the arrows can be used as improvised melee weapons, and can further be coated with item-based poisons normally reserved by assassin's and melee weapons. The bow is also obviously silenced, allowing her to remain hidden while attacking.
Blizzard - White Death can cover a very large area with a blinding snow storm. Those caught inside the storm suffer from slowed movements and their skills take twice as long to cool down. If the White Death is within the Blizzard, she becomes effectively invisible and the blizzard will slowly cause the enemy to freeze to death. One hour cool down.
Other: Only recently joined the Ivory Masks after a new change in leadership and mostly because of boredom. Likes the color green. Has a motorcycle in Deep Ground which functions a bit more like a horse in that she doesn't always needs to have her hands on the handles to keep the motorcycle moving.

Uhhh... Yellow is just trying to have fun while making things as fair as possible for them. They accept anyone, whether a noob who can't do crap to those lvl 9 OP players that can destroy buildings in one blow.

I would also like to mention, Ryo, that Avatar Abilities only appear upon reaching lvl 3. And that "Sniper" is only a spec, and for two classes as well.

Yeah, please clarify the actual class if you can Ryo. However the Avatar abilities are correct; you start at level one with one of your avatar abilities (Based on your class), gain one more ability per level, and than when you get to level three chose your spec and your avatar abilities will reflect that. At level four and up you start choosing perks.

I made my edits. Though if I'm getting this right, we should have some abilities starting out, right? I think there was some talk back at the old OOC about how characters don't actually have any unique skills (Or even a class) until they hit level three, which was why I made Smitten Kitten level 3 so she had some skills to use. I don't know if you all worked that out or not.

True enough for green. Mostly they focus on helping people and don't want to get in the middle of any fueds that would hinder their ability to do that.

Huh, I could have sworn that no one had unique skills until lvl 3. Something about having players not rely on them as they play the game.

Also, I don't think anyone gets a spec until lvl 3.

Change in rules. Otherwise, spellcaster types won't have any ways to fight without having to end up being melee warriors or gunners, since magic attacks are skill based only.

This is how the ability/perk system works.

Chose your class of the following five: Assassin, Gunner, Brawler, Healer, Wizard. You name will be randomly generated (Or so it's claimed, you pretty much get to chose on a meta level) that may or may not reflect on your class.

Level 1: One Avatar Ability, one that suits your class. Often a unique gimmick or something, such as White Death's bow or Arms Slave's arms.
Level 2: Another Avatar Ability appropriate for your class, bringing you up to two.
Level 3: Another Avatar Ability based on the Spec you chose. This is usually where you class starts to diverge into specs, such as how Dark Wraith accesses Necromancy or Arms Slave getting a ability that lets him be tanky.
Level 4: Another Avatar Ability based on the Class/Spec you chose. You also get you first Class Perk, a choice of one of the two Level 4 Perks.
Level 5: Another Avatar Ability based on the Class/Spec you chose. You get your second perk, a choice between one of the two Level 5 Perks.
Level 6: Another Avatar Ability based on the Class/Spec you chose. You get your third perk, a choice between one of the two Level 6 Perks.
Level 7: Another Avatar Ability based on the Class/Spec you chose. You get your fourth perk, a choice between one of the two Level 7 Perks.
Level 8: Another Avatar Ability based on the Class/Spec you chose. You get your fifth perk, a choice between one of the two Level 8 Perks.
Level 9: Another Avatar Ability based on the Class/Spec you chose. You get your sixth perk, a choice between one of the two Level 9 Perks.

While everyone has to chose from a given set of Perks, your Avatar ability can be anything, limited only to what would make sense for your given Class and Spec. So a Tanky Brawler might have some skills that would let them absorb damage and maybe dish a bit back out, but they shouldn't be starting to fling fireballs or stealthing in and out of the shadows. Now there are lots of ways you could play each Spec and class in somewhat unorthodox ways, such as how I'm making Arms Slave into a speedy and durable tank at the cost of having to rely on death by a thousand cuts to compensate for his general lack of raw offensive power. Again, play with a style you think would work best and be sensible for your given class and spec.

The Orange guild in on a collision course with the Strykers in a bad way, but it also has a lot of high-level players that powerlevel the lower-leveled players. There is the little detail of having probably the least friendly King, Blackie not included. I guess you could say it might be dangerous for newbies to join up with them.

So, far as I know.
Black guild is conquering (vicious and has the sweepers)
Blue guild is having fun (Has fun)
Green guild is being neutral (shies away from conflict)
White guild is something to do with a brighter future (probably opposes black guild)
Orange guild is pretty strong but IDK what else (opposes black guild for some reason)
Yellow guild is ??? (???)
Red guild is ??? (leader is team player. Guild may be strong also)
Oh, and Vigilant eclipse (which is just Keith [which is just rofls][but this doesn't really count because it's only one guy])

Correct me if I'm wrong, which I probably am.

Nope, that seems about right. Previous Red King was all like kill everyone and previous Orange King was just a troll. They also openly pissed off/annoyed/turned last White King against Black King so that's why Orange and Black Guilds are enemies. Hope that helps.

So players can level up without fighting other players by hunting down and killing dissolutions? What would these look like, specifically the weakest and strongest types?

Edit: And the current Orange King hates the Black King because he thinks that the BK is responsible for the deaths of the Kings, specifically the last Orange King.

Yes. Here's one of the weaker Dissolutions.

Edit: Past Orange King was the one who pitted White King and Black King against each other for the lolz. Hence why Black King hates Orange Guild.

Yes. Rather, they have varying physical forms, but are all the same species. Er, don't ask what they are as I have to make them up.

I thought we could only have 5 perks??

Also, just so I understand. The first couple skills should be less spec based and more class based?

I might tweak my abilities/perks before actually getting into the game.
