Well, in the beginning of the RP, our characters will find themselves with a new ability, or skill that didn't exist before, and it could be something completely original, or something based on a fandom. It'll be something small, basic like a root ability. Then, as they get older, go through different worlds, they'll pick up new skills, and items.

Mmm We could do something like that. This way, it could explain how our characters ended up gaining such a wide variety of abilities since all sorts of things would be flowing in and out. The only thing I kind of have a problem is I've been envisioning our characters taking some time to figure out that they were jumping like they wouldn't have any clue till anyone told them of the old stories, or they figured some things out by putting some legends together or just from constantly going from one place to another. It might just be me, but a town like that would come best after a few jumps.
Of course I'm open to the notion.


Hmmm... The best suggestion I can come up with here is making the people in the world (or at least all the ones the players meet) be a mix of people who are just as confused as the players, and opportunistic pirates who don't see why they should explain anything. I'm not sure if that's a good idea or not, though, hmmm.

Well, the world jumping was done by spaceships mostly. Occasionally portals came into play (not the portals from Kingdom Hearts. Think large gray walls that fly across you) when summoned with what can be GPSes. It started with the end of a multiversal war between two large factions, one would go on to be an antagonist for the heroes and the other would serve the basis for who the heroes would be. As for how to keep it going... Not sure. Just go with the flow. Tie the plots of the worlds together and not make them seem like separate episodes, but rather connected arcs.

As for character ideas, I'll try to think of one...

Just as a silly question that may have already been asked. How do we decide the first and following worlds to jump to?

Is it general consensus or is it a suggestion like system where we all suggest one world and then the GM decides where to go from the list of suggestions.

Right now we're working more towards a consensus, but if we don't have a world decided on in another day or two, I'll try to pick one, be it with deliberation or the drawing of an idea out of a hat.
