I don't think that was the issue.

Now I wouldn't normally go into such detail, but your character's history section brought back memories so I almost feel obliged to help make it better. I have to know though, is English your first language and/or are you typing on your phone? This is important. If your posts are all going to be like that I'm not sure if you'd fit in this rp.

-I really think pasting your character sheet into Microsoft Word would help. There's still quite a few spelling and capitalization errors which would definitely be caught with spellcheck. If you don't have it, look it over again more carefully and fix every typo you find. I'd be happy to help with the rest as long as you try.

-His likes section was a bit odd for me. If he's playing games that often it's going to affect his studies somehow. Is he skipping class? What games does he like anyway? I like fantasy RPGs myself, though the Borderlands games are fun too. What about programming? You said he was a hacker so I imagine he'd be familiar with that. Programming can be pretty fun (I just started learning btw). And apparently he's in several relationships at once (yay Casanova!) so does he like romancing people or are his interests more physical? If neither, why? I think we all want to know :)

-Personality: how does he like and dislike socializing at the same time? Are there some parts he doesn't like, or is he only comfortable with it under certain conditions? Both are pretty common. I like finding common ground with people and learning more about them but having to look welcoming and smiley all the time tires me out. You can use stuff in the likes/dislikes section to expand this further. Why does he feel that way about those things?

-Your history section is rather short. Everyone wrote at least a paragraph (even the guy who doesn't like doing it). I mean, I have 2 out of the 3 things you listed so I can guess at a few things but it's always useful to have some detail. Was he bullied? Did he try to fight back or did he keep his head down and endure? Does he think people are scum after all this? Will he think our characters are scum because of any of this (*coughKelsey'sdefinitelybulliedpeoplelikehiminhighschoolcough*)? I think we all want to know that too :)

-Why would time-and-space manipulation cause fox ears? Best I can think of is he opened a portal to some unlucky fox. I thought it would make slightly more sense if he had shapeshifting and got stuck or something but I talked to the GM in chat and apparently that kind of thing doesn't happen. No one's been captured by the government either.

Empathy- The main foundation of her abilities is her empathy, an ability that allows her to sense and feel the emotions of other people and animals. Though it has its, usefulness, it can be incredibly taxing on her, as she has to make a conscious effort to block out intruding emotions, the good and the bad. When encountering people who are projecting a particularly strong emotion, she sometimes accidentally acts on their whims. However, in reverse, when she is feeling a strong emotion, she may accidentally broadcast it and influence others around her, though with practice, she may be able to keenly channel people's emotions without being overwhelmed by them and selectively project specific emotions onto others. Furthermore, her empathy works on animals as well and allows her to seemingly "communicate" and understand them. Even so, she may be able to share how she is feeling with others subtly, without forcing them to mimic said feeling.

Empathic Metamorph- Her empathic powers make her particularly sensitive to surrounding moods, and can cause her to change appearance depending on themselves, their needs, or perceptions, and make her vulnerable to certain telepathic manipulation; or rather do so when she herself is either in a vulnerable emotional state, distracted, or focused on the person in question. Her metamorphing ability allows her assume the form of any living creature, even those that are deceased or extinct(dinosaurs). She can assume the form of other people as well. However, as mentioned before, without proper training, her empathic ability can sometimes cause her body to actually change against her will in response to the emotions around her, such as becoming ethereally and alluringly beautiful when she feels loved, or hideous when she feels hatred, or even monstrous when she feels anger.

Kinetic Duplication: Lucky creates an identical physical living duplicate of himself upon any physical impact that he may incur. This process is spontaneous and cannot be prevented. Although he can create multiple duplicates, and the duplicates themselves can also replicate, each is only able to create one duplicate at a time. His duplicates think, feel, and act independently, though they are primarily guided by his original form. He is telepathically and empathetically linked to his duplicates, suffering severe trauma if one dies. The original Lucky can absorb them back into himself at will, at the same time absorbing the memories, skills and experiences of the duplicates. History: Astrid grew up on the streets. Ever since she can remember the concrete had been her bed, the trash her fridge, the rats her pets. It was a hard life for a child so young. Some how though she managed to survive long enough to get into school. Once in school she found out her thirst for knowledge, and also her complete hate for those without it. Excelling in school, though alone Astrid quickly became the smartest kid in her class. She finished everything early allowing her to continue on her hunt for knowledge and began taking college classes by the time she was a sophomore.

She still had problems with the idiots at the school, but with her new classes she was spending less time being dragged down by them and more time actually learning. Of course there was no avoiding them. More than once she ended up in detention for punching a kid in the nose over something stupid they had said. Not that she regretted it.

Finally after graduating top of her class Astrid joined University of San Francisco for its cheap cost. She really hoped she could go to some place more intellectual like MIT or Stanford, but with her limited budget she was going to have trouble paying for University of San Francisco. As it was she was probably going to have to work through her entire time at college.

Power: Fire. Lots and lots of fire. She can't be burnt, she can light things on fire through friction, usually snapping her fingers. The only other way she can create fire is if her emotions get out of control(which is often)

So at eighteen they got married, and spent his remaining few months together as newly weds doing everything they had planed to do together as kids, and seven months later he was gone.

At ten years old, the death of her parents led to a whole life change for Lana. Her grandparents became her legal guardians, but they lived in Moscow, and only came to stay with her until stayed with her until her parents house was sold, and then her grandparents quickly decided that it was best that Lana stay in America, so she was sent to live with her Aunt Polina in Vegas Nevada. Her simple happy life was over. The three story town home she grew up in, sold quickly after her grandparents put it on the market, with its little court yard she use to play pretend in, her powder blue painted bedroom walls with her canopy bed and huge doll house her father built her, all gone. The private catholic school she had gone to since kindergarten, her two loving successful parents, the summers spent in France, and Christmas at the Plaza in Manhattan, were all gone.

Living in a cluttered 5th floor walk up in Vegas above a bar with her Aunt Polina was very different from the life she had been living. Going to public school was nothing like her old school, she missed her friends, her old house, her city, and most of all her parents. Polina was an aspiring musician, who worked as a stripper, maid, and bartender to pay the bills, so she was not home much to take care of Lana. When Polina was home she was ether sleeping or playing music with her band in the living room until late into the morning hours. Polina was a nice to Lana, but responsibility for anyone other then herself seemed impossible for her to handle. Lana was a good kid though, she had never need to take care of herself before, but by middle school she had learned to how to cook, clean, shop, and use the public bus, she could take care of herself.

In Seventh grade she met a Jack Duran, they were seated as lab partners for biology, and the quickly hit it off, becoming best friends. She spent a lot of her time at his house, his big family welcomed her like she was one of there own. In ninth grade they started dating, and the rest was history, completely in love, and inseparable. Jack was diagnosed with cancer during the summer before 11th grade. Chemo, radiation, chemicals, medications, illness, and hospital visits became the norm for Jack, and also for Lana and she was by his side. Good days and bad days came and went, and he went into remission, but only for a short time. Two weeks after they graduated the doctors told them there was nothing else that could be done, that the cancer had gotten worse and was terminal, they told him he had about a year left to live. Two days later Lana and Jack got married at the court, and had a small wedding ceremony in Jacks families backyard. They moved into the mother-in-law suite about his parents garage. They lived and loved, but as the months passed his health deteriorated more and more. On the good days they would go for walks in the park, get coffee, and do some of the things they had planned on doing as kids. Flying in a hot air-balloon, and an impromptu road trip to Los Angeles to see the sunrise over the beach, to name a few. The bad days were spent in bed just talking, holding hands, and making up what there imaginary future would be like. Seven months after they got married Jack died in his sleep, surround by his family and friends, and Lana at his side.

Depression consumed Lana. Polina and Jacks parents were scared for her, scared that she might hurt herself or just disappear without telling anyone. Four months she spent without smiling or laughing, she wanted nothing to do with anything or anyone. Jack's parents thought it was bests if she moved out from above the garage, and go to college, get a job, or do something to start her life again. Almost a whole year had passed since he died, and Lana couldn't stand being there anymore everywhere she went she could see Jack, there were to many memories, and so she packed her bags and moved to San Francisco. She did not want to forget Jack, but she needed to be in a place were she could cope properly with his death.

Its been a year since she move here, and she is now a sophomore at the local university, working and the local flower shop, and has two good roommates who she has come to call friends. She is not depressed anymore, but smiling and laughing like normal carefree college girl do not come naturally to her anymore, like they did before Jack died.

Power: She can control plant life. She can create, shape and manipulate plants, including wood, vines, plants, moss, and parts of the plants, such as leaves, seeds, fruits and flowers. Lana can cause plants to grow, and control them with her mind.
