> Some dudes (The gun guy, the sword guy, and the fists guy) are gonna go beat up Ganon so they can go bowling in peace, some other dudes (The psychic guy, the link guy, the samus guy and the deadpool guy) are gonna go hang out in Death Mountain, and Earnest Evans, Shisa, and I aren't gonna do anything because the GM keeps ignoring our CSes in favor of RokkuHoshi's. Alright, I think I know what to do. I'll see if I can get a post down either tomorrow or Wednesday.

Sorry. I've stuck with the Multiverse since I found it on the original guild, through the X10 site with Dawn's disappearance and through the Xanje board where we lost a lot of people so that could be why. He pretty much already knows my characters and may not have had enough time to look over the other new CSs. If I get his permission, I could see about looking them over. I know the approx. limits for PCs and am on usually twice a day now. (Wake up in the morning, going straight to the guild, once again before I sleep, I check the Multiverse posts) Edit: I can't speak for Kalama but I looked over the CSs. They all look good for me, despite the fact 2 of them look like the same character with different power sets, and, if it were up to me, I'd say they're accepted.

Sorry, I meant to say all presented sheets are accepted, not just Rokku's three. Completely slipped my mind, I apologize.

Just realized, if we go to middle earth..we have to fight an Orc army. Or any army.

Most likely an army of dragons since that was one of the more epic battles in the War of Wrath, the one in which Ancalagon was slain, which I believe was the final battle in the War. For those that don't know, this means an entire army of dragons at least as terrible as Smaug, possibly more terrible considering they're not sporting so critical a weakness as a missing scale.

Yet more dragons; I'm not surprised in the slightest. If you're just doing it for dragons we may as well cut out the middleman and go to Pern. Also I don't think 100 dudes counts as an "entire army".

I agree for once. We can't go to the codifier of fantasy orcs without fighting orcs. It'd be like going to a fair without fried Oreos..or a hockey game with no fighting. *Puts on the Scottish accent.* YE JuS DON DO IT, lADDY!!

Well, there's nothing saying we can't extend the time we're there and do some other battles. Army of Balrogs sound more appealing? Balrogs were, after all, every bit as nasty as dragons.

Okay, next question: what about still taking down Ancalagon when we piss off Morgoth by slaughtering his Balrogs? I mean, he is the largest and most powerful mortal dragon I know of (meaning excluding dragon gods like Bahamut or Akatosh). He'd be a great end-boss for Middle Earth. Also, with the absence of the Crucible in the rest of the Multiverse, we will be implementing an idea Grand suggested a while back: world totems. These are objects of great significance to a world that house the essence of that world. These are sufficiently powerful that they can grant us new abilities in much the same way a crucible piece would. Examples would be a Silmaril for Middle Earth's First Age, the Triforce for Zelda, or some form of Chozo artifact for Metroid.

I'm really not sure about that, to be honest. Morgoth is an extremely powerful entity, even as far as gods go. And you really want to fight someone you can't kill? Morgoth's immortal, in case you forgot, and I'd rather avoid scenarios where Kalama will have to step out of his designated role for the RP, which is to guide us. If you guys really want to do that, though, I'll do it. If you want a more powerful end boss than Ancalagon, I'll gladly pull Sauron into this with his full power, meaning he'll be more than a nameless lieutenant this time around. And since he has yet to pour all his lifeforce into the One Ring, we'd have to actually mortally wound him to defeat him instead of simply separate him from the Ring. Even if this means the Third Age will basically never happen, I feel it's better than pissing off Morgoth. But, really, who's gonna miss the Third Age? There wasn't as much awesome stuff happening then, after all. EDIT: Anyway, I'm mainly waiting on a reply from Rawk before posting so I can get all responses up at once.

Okay, one, Simarils don't do a whole lot but look super pretty, burn evil shit on contact, and cause people to make really dumb decisions like agreeing to parley with notSatan or wearing them on your crown even though they're forever melting your face off. Two, maybe Ancalagon gets hyped up in your encyclopedias or whatever but from what I remember he's a mindless, animalistic brute that dies like a _total chump_ in the very first battle he participates in, and his flailing idiot corpse ends up crushing about half of Angband. Fancy that, Ancalagon's _single greatest achievement_ was fucking over his own boss. The fact that he's the "most powerful mortal dragon [you] know of" speaks volumes. Finally, if the group already **_has all the macguffins_**, why are we dicking around in Hyrule? Shouldn't the game be over or at the least heading towards a final confrontation?

True, but if you remember the books weren't exactly the most detailed things ever. The movies did a lot of fleshing out for the characters and laid down more concrete lore, which was left fairly vague in the books and much was left to the imagination, which does result in inconsistent lore since much is based on individual interpretation. Tolkien was very good at weaving a good story, but the characters were a bit shallow from what I remember. It's been a good while since I actually read the books, though, so I may be remembering things incorrectly. But let's not argue lore, if Ancalagon's out Sauron's the next viable option, who we all know for certain to be a real threat. Most of what we do is up to you guys, I was merely bringing up options and stating my opinion on what's been stated. And the reason we're still in Hyrule is because we're not actually trying to finish the game's plotline, we're searching Hyrule for the crucible piece, which isn't necessarily gained from finishing the plotline.

Well, the Silmarils don't do a whole lot but they're jewels made from what amounts to the second attempt at a ProtoSun and ProtoMoon by the Valar and they're some of the single most important items in Tolkien's writings, up there with the One Ring, so them being representative of having been to the First Age works. I don't know how the Crucible worked or works now but if it functions as a universe-hopping device instead of the actual quest items to hunt I don't see any problem.

Idea! Mad Hatter steals the piece, teases the group and Kalama pulls them out.

I'm really not big on extending our stay in Hyrule any more than "find the piece and get out". I'm taking measures to get us out of the digital universe sooner rather than later.
