There are a lot of them! Sinbad, Ali Babba, and many others. However it is the GM's choice.

I still think it wouldn't be fair as that is as Yoshi was saying, majorly changing the character and not just taking small liberties. I still believe you would be better off making two characters if you wished to work with both... I looked back and Vicer was on the edge about the whole gender bending thing... why not make Briar Phillip?

Okay...I want you to honestly just remove the gender of the character from my CS and take a look at what sort of person they'd be. They'd be the same, if not with just slightly more personality. Gender doesn't change the character. Now, if I wanted to fuse the two characters together, it would not be on huge things...more or less the ultimate role of the original prince is also infused with the ultimate role of the princess, but I'm probably character planning things in my head again about possibilities. But, if the GMs are both rejecting the CS, I can always make another character. :/

Oki c: I was just mentioning it because I read > I'll finish this latter, I have to go to bed :3. Including finding out why he's human, or a different charicter. I was thinking of 'mr. fox' of a fairy tale of the same name, but I dont think you need or want a psychopathing killer. expecialy if I want to play him as a hero. At the bottom of your CS. I figured Robin Hood is basically the same MO minus the giving to the poor and Robin would be somewhat considered a hero.

The CS on its own I really like. It takes the raw classic tale and puts a modern twist on it to fit the rp. My concern is the gender, as previously stated. Like, if there was a *specific purpose* to change Aurora to a male, I'd like to see that... but just changing it for the sake of changing it... kinda kills the whole thing in my opinion.

I personally haven't an issue with you making Aurora a male. I agree with you, I don't think the gender is that big of an issue, but as I said before it seem earlier as if the GM wasn't too sure about it. The reason I am suggesting not combining them because it messes up other people. For example, I was wanting to make a character but due to what is currently available to me it is pretty impossible. The character isn't taken but I am still unable to play it. I just want to avoid that from happening to someone who wants to play one of them. Saying that they are two characters is a complete falsity and doesn't change that you are making it impossible for someone to be one of that characters that you aren't really playing. ----EDIT----- Overall, I don't think we should be discussing it. It is only going to cause tension and arguments. I think we should wait until Vicer weighs in since the GM's opinion on CSs is the only opinion that really matters in this case.

No reason, just creative liberties...honestly, we already have a lot of strong princesses in this RP, how about a prince with some vulnerabilities? I'd really like to know why a gender bent Aurora bothers you the most...I mean, you can be straight with me about your opinion. And, actually, the other character I'd have prefer to try for was Arachne as a trickster witch in the same kingdom as my prince...she being the one who possibly showed him the vision.

For theft from a thief, messing around with the wife of an asshole jock, and trying to teach some sence to the fully adult student with a beating, thant the student neither cares about or really had a problem with. He's an asshole, just less of one then the people who convict him.

It was merely a suggestion due to the fact that how you worded your Other that you seemed unsure of what story you were taking him from. I got a sense of a twisted Robin which could have been a liberty that was taken. However, like I said it was merely suggestion c:

Lol Ursa, I've known you too long XD Strictly speaking for this particular RP, I just feel that it wouldn't fit. Vicier wants us to stay away from other potential character's story lines as much as possible. Mad Hatter hatter and countless others (including myself, I pretty much had to re-write Rumpel's backstory to fit in here cuz the dude has a hand in everyones life) included had to change their CS multiple times because it spelled out the fate of other characters that others, down the road, might want to join in as. If someone had a hankering for Prince Phillip... well they'd be a bit royally screwed over unless they also had a hankering to make him gay (not saying it can't happen, just saying unlikely). It puts a strain on something that shouldn't otherwise be there, and for no plot-driven purpose whatsoever. Like I said, if there was a specific reason that your character HAD to be male, then so be it, but a 'just because' reason just doesn't set well with me personally. I'm not the GM here like you are used to, so my opinion matters very little, but I will put in my two cents since if approved, my characters will be coming across your characters at some point and will have to deal with it accordingly.

But, like asked, prince of X fairytale aren't exactly being paired up with princess of X fairytale, correct? Prince Phillip could be the prince of an allied kingdom, and nothing more. And if it bothered you, I offered to hold down Aurora and Phillip as one character. Look, I'm not barging in here asking if I can have the original prince of the Rapunzel fairy tale so I could eventually have him impregnate her, go blind, then miraculously have him return to sight as soon as she appears with his kids...or even Key/Kai, since gods knows Frozen is no Snow Queen...why? Because Tangled was solid too, even with it's creative liberties...! No comment on my feels of Frozen, I give it a neutral "I didn't watch it" and leave it at that. I mean, I wouldn't mind crossing my genderbent Sleeping Beauty with part of the Sleeping Prince mythos...but by gods, I doubt anybody (friend, foe/manipulator, or love interest) wants to wait X years-months-days for a sneeze.

Yeah, you lost me a while back. But no, don't combine characters into one because again, if someone wanted to play either Aurora or Phillip... they can't cuz they are combined... ?

Now now, settle down the discussion my dears, you're all giving me so much to read and catch up on so suddenly in the morning. I've barely wiped the sleep from my eyes... Now that I'm awake and settled in my happy place on the couch and everyone has -pulls her fingers across her lips- quietened down enough for me to actually think and get a word in, I'll do my part as a GM; good morning! Tsu, thank you for thinking about me in all this, however in some instances (such as this one) I am actually really happy to hear everyones opinions as I have been completely at a loss over the situation presenting itself to me. Nine times out of ten I would consult my Co-GM and we would discuss the CS, but due to unforeseen circumstances I haven't had the ability to do so this time. 22xander, I'll begin with you're CS. > Name: Vincent Reinhard. > Real Name: Reynard the Fox. > Fairy Tale: The devil with three golden hairs. Straight up honesty with you all; I was, up until a few moments ago, very unfamiliar with this fairy tale however just by the name I can tell that it was a Grim Brother's one (<-- I absolutely love their work and have a hard copy addition of their tales sitting beside my bed). Now that I've actually read through the story and understand it a bit more, I think I can see what you're trying to go with and I love the idea of a thief that isn't Robin Hood (<-- Not that Robin Hood isn't epic, I can just see where the classic thief tale could wear thin over time). There are two things I don't really understand/ see relevance to, these being: 1) why is he a fox? And 2) why is he on earth? In the story he is classed as, like Aladdin, a diamond in the rough type character. A boy born into poverty though chosen (<-- Through strange means really...) for something much greater, this happening to be marrying the princess of a kingdom who's king is twisted, evil, and power driven. I can see where you could twist the story though so that things could go the way you want (<-- Talking about him becoming a thief), this being the point in which he is making his trip back to the castle with the letter though decides to stop and sleep at the inn filled with thieves; in my opinion this would be the best opportunity for you to have the Dark Queens forces take over and have his story thrown like the others. As to him being on earth, personally I don't see any reason for him to be there; may I just ask what your reasoning was for sending him there? (Also, if he was 7 years old, thirteen years later would make him 20, not 21. You miscounted xD) Okay, now that I have replied to 22xander I'll move onto the next CS, I know you're all waiting to hear my word on it; trust me, so am I. > Name: Brian Ashwood. > Real Name: “Briar Thorn”/Prince. > Fairy Tale: Sleeping Beauty. I know that there has been a lot of discussion for this character, how? Well, I've been spending quite a bit of this morning catching up on all the conversation that has gone on in regards to it, so I will do this in two parts: first part, just the character not taking the gender into consideration. And then the second part will be my decision on the gender discussion. **Part One - The Character w/o Gender Consideration** I love the character that your offering to me, it's not often that I can't barely find something in a CS that worries me (<-- Including my own by the way, it takes me forever to write up a character hence why we have no Dark Queen yet) and you have me completely stumped on anything major that needs to be changed about the background, personality, or even how/ why the character was sent to earth. You're biography is amazing and well thought out, and to be completely honest with you, I see no faults in it. There is a tiny thing that is easily fixed in it, I'm not sure if you picked up on it or not but I'll let you know. In the **other** category, you have stated the gifts that were given to him by the fairies on his first birthday. In that category you stated six gifts, however following your biography there should only be five as the sixth gift would have been modifying the curse so that the character would sleep instead of die. Other than that tiny detail, I can find nothing wrong with the character. Now onto the main situation. -sighs and rubs her temple- **Part Two - To Genderbend, or Not To Genderbend** The whole concept of genderbending intrigues me and I have seen it done before, not in roleplay but in pictures done by one of my favorite artists (<-- Her work is absolutely amazing, I'm so jealous that I can't draw...), she makes genderbending look good. But, unfortunately, her artwork doesn't really help me to figure out whether I am completely with, or completely against the idea and the concept. My main focus with this roleplay is to make sure that characters are available to those who want them, everyone here knows that and a few of them have also experienced it first hand. Archangel, our resident Mad Hatter, had to change the biography so that the fates of Alice among other characters were not already written. And Yoshi... Well, that's a long story that continues to get longer, as someone likes to come up with ideas that lead to the potential death of characters which I need to figure out a way around... -cough cough fairygodmother/rothbart cough- >w> I also took into consideration that you thought about fusing both roles together however, if you had looked back through the OOC, you would have already seen that there was an instance where someone else tried to do this. They wished to create Belle, which I had no problem with you can ask anyone, but they also wished to make Belle the Beast which would take Adam off the table for any who wished to take him on as their own character. In this instance when I mentioned it, the roleplayer took their leave not wanting to change their character; that was something I didn't want. I would rather be able to work and come to a compromise, rather than have someone feel unwanted within my roleplays. I understand that with the small amount of rules I set for this roleplay I have opened up the doors for creativity and for my friends to "go wild" per-say, however I also know that my friends understand what I'm leading them towards which is to alter the story line of their characters but not so drastically that it takes other characters out of commission before they are even created. Although I am still on the fence about whether I agree with or disagree with the whole genderbending idea, this time I am going to have to ask you if you would consider changing your characters gender to female, allowing there to be a chance for someone to play the prince in future if they choose to do so. That is really all I have to say on the matter at this stage when it comes to my opinions, mostly because it took me forever to get that all down into intelligible words that actually made some sort of sense. I am happy to discuss this and any ideas/ compromises that you come up with. Now, onto the important things... > But it's taking small creative liberties! That's like when the real series of OUAT made Mulan lesbian! It didn't take away from the character...but mostly to the point, Sleeping Beauty with the typical parts taken (la raep, la cannibalism, la ___) out here or there is boring. Besides I want to play a character who can save themselves...kinda. I'm sorry, but in this instance you are actually wrong. In "Once Upon A Time", Mulan was never portrayed as a lesbian; what they did was cut Shang out of the picture before replacing him with Prince Phillip as Mulan's love interest. She is in love with him, however she also respects his wishes and leaves him be so that he can be with Aurora. I am only going to say this once and once only, and this is directed at everyone. Please do not take this as me being mean, because everyone who knows me knows that being a bitch and being mean or nasty is the last thing I ever want to be. **If you have an issue with one of my characters, you bring it up with me and me alone. If you have an issue with someone elses character, you also bring this up with me and me alone.** This is how this is going to work from now on okay? Again, I don't wish to be a mean, pushy, or nasty person. The last thing I want is to be a bitch. Thank you all for your patience, I know I took forever to post this up, Love you all, Vicier.

Name: Daria _____ Real Name: Jasmine of Agrabah Age: 18 Occupation (If Any): Ha! Appearance - Thirteen Years Ago (Age 5): ![enter image description here](http://i1120.photobucket.com/albums/l498/wolflover114/tyf1SF3_.jpg "enter image title here") Appearance - Today (Age 18): ![enter image description here](https://s3.amazonaws.com/next-management-production/assets/images/108140/medium_portrait.jpg?1373377164 "enter image title here") Personality Traits: Jasmine is independent and strong. She has no fear in speaking mind when it is something she believes strongly about. However, when her mind is set it is sometimes very difficult to change it as she is as stubborn as an ox. She is incredibly compassionate and caring to those she deems deserving of that care. She doesn't always look or act her age either, sometimes trying to act older than she really is. She can be a snob from time to time but you can't really blame her, she has been pampered her entire life! Skills: Jasmine is quite intuitive, and she has described herself as a fast learner. She is also surprisingly good at hand to hand combat after studying multiple different forms over the years. She isn't all beauty. Biography (Before Earth): Born to a Sultan, Jasmine is part of one of the many royal families in Agrabah. She lived an extravagant and simple life. She never needed to lift a finger and was fawned over by vast amounts of servants. Things were good for the first five years of her life... However, when the threats from the Dark Queen started to arise, her father had to act. It was difficult for him to send her away but after thinking of every way that she could stay, he realized this was the only way to keep her safe. He explained to what was happening and promised he would see her one day. He gave her a gold necklace before she was taken away. Biography (Life On Earth): Jasmine lucked out when she came to earth though. She was found in the backyard of a wealthy couple who could not have children of their own. They tried to find her family asking her as much as they could about them. However, Jasmine gave them answers about how she could not return, how she was from a different world, she wouldn't even give them her name. They took is as ramblings from a young girl who was traumatized and scared and had a bit of a wild imagination. After months of searching, to no avail, they told her how they had been thinking of adopting and that this must be a sign, that she was to be their daughter. Jasmine soon forgot of her home back in Agrabah and her real name. She became more than happy with the family she has found. Life isn't that different, there are still servants who still fawn over her, she still never has to lift a finger. She is still treated like a princess.
