Location: Magic Council's Underground Building "We can argue right and wrong another day." Walking over to Grane, he helps him up off the ground and heads for the door that he and James had come in. "For now, let's focus on getting out alive." Grane's eyes looked at Damian as he finished. "Boy, getting out is the least of our worries. The thing that is about to get out is what we need to focus on in order to stay alive. I can feel it moving away from where I sealed it." He noticed Maddox dash towards and instantly teleported the three back on the surface. "Thanks, Maddox." He said as he turned to Maddox and then to Penny who immediately left. James found his way out of the building and happened to be healing Grane. "Thanks, but it would be best to conserve your magic." He said as he was still unable to move. He noticed that Damian suddenly wasn't around and saw the girl who tried disturbing his duel earlier. He turned to her as he felt the healing working its magic. "What was kept inside was something that I hope stayed sealed away. I could barely contain it when the Council had to confront for the first time, it took most of us out before I could finally seal bugger." Location: Magic Council's Underground Sealed Chambers > Secret Room "Simple, follow me." Wes said as he gestured Sayrui to follow him as they went to slightly different directions than how they originally went through at the beginning. He stopped to when he found the door he was looking for and inserted the keys in as opened the door. Clapping his hand to a certain beat, the light in the room turned on with some projection lacrimas showing some places being monitored. Wes walked up towards what also looked like a projected keyboard. As he began typing, some of the monitors began to only display static or shut down completely. "Okay, I was hoping that the tremor from before didn't hit this place as well, but it appears that it did. I can probably get it to work, but hopefully it still wants to work. Umm... I'm guessing that you're a bit curious about a few things, are you?" He said as he turned to Sayrui. He quickly picked a lacrima up from the table and spoke through it with hopes that either remaining Council Members could hear him. "Grane, Masahiko. If you hear this, you probably already heard the alert go up about the seal breaking. I'm currently at the room that I designed for these cases, well, cases that stayed in one place. If he does escape pass the chamber, try to contain him in one area while I focus on opening a portal near him. Once open, remember that only have wizards that have magic that emit some kind of light, that's the only thing we know so far that has some effect him." Location: Magic Council's Underground Sealed Chambers The shadowy figure scaled to the top floor with ease and as its claws went back in the human like figure, it then immediately turned into a beast like wolf form that was still had it's dark silhouette appearance and darted across the chamber as it tried to find the exit of what seemed to be its prison. As the beast sprinted through what seemed like a maze in the chamber, its body gradually grew as it absorbed the surrounding shadow in its path. It eventually found the giant valve and the last door open along with the cavern's rumbling sound getting bigger. Following where the sound came from, it found the collapsing aquifer caving in with a few spots of evening lights peering through some gaps in the ceiling. "Evening, that may or not be helpful." said the ghastly voice. As it was scanning the area, it was unaware of a giant piece of the building falling directly above it.

The red-haired mage narrowed his eyes as he looked toward Masahiko. "That's specific. Thankfully I am skilled with Light Magic," he responded, returning his attention forward. "Listen. Your job is to ensure the greater good of Fiore and lately you haven't been doing the best job. Perhaps I'm not one to give advice..." Maddox's expression grew more serious. "But I'm not going to give us time. We're going to solve the problem here and now. I need as much details as you can give me." The giant Legion passed over the courtyard in front of the castle, flying low enough to allow Edo-Maddox to jump down gracefully. His arrival was far from undetected and the crowd of people going about their day in the streets all stopped to watch. The leader of White Hydra, often called Viper, was a well-known man throughout Edolas. His feats of power and terror were often regarded as urban legends, but whether there was truth to them or not the populace knew he was a dangerous man. When Edo-Maddox turned to face the street, several people flinched and more still began backing away. "I have come to make an announcement!" he spoke out, making sure the entire crowd could hear him. Despite his volume, his eerily neutral expression didn't change. By now, armed soldiers began flooding from the castle and lining up behind Edo-Maddox. Despite their quantity and their position behind him, Edo-Maddox didn't even glance at their assembly. "In life, all that matters is power. Regardless of what form, it is power that drives some to success and a lack thereof that leads to depression and poverty. I have asserted my position in Edolas through my power. But I have not reached my ceiling." Edo-Maddox pointed towards himself with his thumb now. The general looks of the crowd were fearful and confused, not entirely sure where he was going with his speech. "I will be taking the next step! I declare myself the King of Edolas!" Without any warning, Edo-Maddox spun around to face the soldiers. Many of them jumped back in fear from the motion alone. He pointed at the imposing castle now. "Your present King and Queen are not powerful enough to keep the throne. It belongs in more fitting hands. But I am not an unreasonable man..." He lowered his hand, now glaring at the guards. "The Kingdom has twelve hours to surrender to me and give me the throne. Or else..." "I will destroy the entire city and all those within its walls." Several of the soldiers grew furious from his claims and one even began to march forward to attack, though he was held back by another soldier. Now Edo-Maddox faced the citizens again. "I am not pleading for support. I am not preaching a brighter future. I am merely warning the Kingdom. Do not think that I will be kind or merciful. Do not think that I am bluffing, either. I hold the most power in Edolas, and I want the title to prove it." Edo-Maddox removed the box from his back and stood it upright on the ground in front of him. He gave a sharp whack to the side of the box, causing the wooden boards to fall apart and reveal what was inside. A long staff with a snake head shape at the top, almost as tall as Edo-Maddox. He grasped the staff in one hand and held it up above his head. "If I am not King in twelve hours, then there will be no Kingdom left." The red eyes on the snake head started to glow and a powerful gust of wind blasted in all directions. It even knocked several people and soldiers over, causing some of the crowd to panic. Edo-Maddox lowered the staff and looked over his shoulder at the soldiers, daring them to attack him. Yet none made a move. The intimidating man brought his free hand to his mouth and whistled, bringing his Legion to the ground with Beatrix still unconscious on its back. "I will return in twelve hours." He leapt onto his Legion. As soon as he was near Beatrix the eyes on the snake head began to glow faintly. The Legion let out one last roar before taking flight. The crowd was baffled by how suddenly this all unfolded. By how brazen Viper was. By the fact they may only have a day left to live.

"Oh, that's wonderful. What, some ancient eldritch horror or something? You should really mention this kind of thing when appropriate. Which is before now." She groaned and rubbed her face with her draw hand, sighing. As if the day weren't already trouble enough. Trinity sighed heavily and composed herself for a moment before turning to Grane, doing her best to seem imposing. "Details, now. You're going to tell me everything you know about this creature." Trin had been having a good laugh with Edo-Sasha, before the counterpart ruined the fun. She stood, holding her drink, and moved to watch Sasha retreat upstairs, before turning her attention to her companions. She moved over to nestle against Edo-Sasha's side. "Don't let her bother you too much, Sasha. She's flustered and distressed and I'm sure she has no idea how she's going to get home. If she's anything like you, I'm sure she'll find strength enough here," she touches a finger to about where Sasha's heart would be, "to overcome her fear. Now, how about we share a drink?" The dancer offers her drink to the woman, before she looks to Karn. "Awwww. But I wanna get lost in her..." She pauses a moment and takes a moment to obviously ogle Edo-Sasha. "...ah, eyes."

Rutger reigned himself in immediately, crushing down the leaking power into the pit of his gut until he felt nauseous. Of course. He didn't have a lot of room to talk. The Slayer magics...even after a hundred years, when the world was finally beginning to recover from the stigma against magic, the art of the Slayers was now seen as a dark, dangerous magic above all. Phoenix Wing was not the first guild he had been to, and Magnolia not the first town he had passed through. Everywhere else, he had been turned away once they knew of his magic. Would Jamie do the same? Would he once again be turned out and left to wander, until the power became too much and he finally destroyed himself? "I...I didn't learn this magic with the intent to kill or destroy." he said finally, mustering up his courage before he looked at Vincent. "And that's why I'm here now, seeking a Guild to teach me to control it. But you, you let yourself fall into darkness. No wonder you think everyone's rotten--that's all you've ever seen of the world! What was stopping you from leaving that orphanage and, instead of delving into the underbelly of the world, just going and seeking normal work like everyone else?" The strain of controlling his magic made him stop for breath, but Jamie took up where he left off...and then, there was a surge of energy somewhere else in the building. Rutger looked up as a new man appeared, one who seemed to know the Master. They must have been another Guild Member, using a transportation Lacrima perhaps? "Um, I'm Rutger, sir." he said to Damian. "I promise I didn't have anything to do with all this. I came here intending to join, but I found all of this. From what we can tell so far, there was some kind of fight with...a woman, you said Master Jamie? And after that we don't know. But if you and the Master both got here via transportation Lacrima, that must mean they're fairly common in this guild, correct? Could it have been some kind of wide range use of the lacrima, or a malfunction?"

Phoenix Wing Guild Hall Vincent looked over at Rutger, and then to Jamie. Strange how so little human contact could change a person. He had never decided to join a Guild, had never wanted to. But for some reason, these two people...why did they make him feel like this. Vincent felt his hair stand on edge when a wave of magical energy washed through the guild, and a third person appeared. He glanced over at him, and raised an eyebrow. A member of the Guild? Well, he didn't know what was going on either, so it seemed like everyone was scattered. "I'm Vincent." He said, putting his hands in his pocket. "And...if it is ok with the Master, I'm also looking to join the Guild." The statement shocked even Vincent, because this time, he was serious. He glanced over at Jamie, his eyes clear. "I want to see what it's like first hand to have comrades...maybe I can recover some of the humanity I've lost. I can't promise I'll stay, but I want to at least give it a try."

She smiled a bit, and winked at Edo-Trinity. ”Maybe some other time. you two. Enjoy your little in-house date, despite the interruption.” She turned, and started to walk towards the basement. ”Which Jarvis you need Master? Ours or Earthland’s? I figure either will do, but might as well be certain we’re bringing the right people.” She crossed her arms, leaning on the door to the basement, mentally deciding to simply go down last. Mayt walked just behind Penny, on the lookout, and moving like he was never injured in the first place. ”Yeah, let’s go get everyone and get out ASAP. And it’d probably be a good idea to find Melina… Wait, couldn’t we just ask Karn to track her down once he’s outside? Where did Karn say Sayuri went? I’ll go find him and tell him to search for Melina and keep track of her then meet you there.” He looked about, slowing down a little bit.

Lazarus Lazarus watched them go inside. He called out to his counterpart. "I believe you. Don't let me down." He turned and followed everyone inside. Keeping sight of Sasha, he followed her upstairs. He knocked on the door and went inside. "Sasha?" He went over to her. "I'm sorry. I just cannot bing myself to not believe him. However, protecting what is important to me is what matters most now." He grasped her hands and squeezed them tight, looking at her lips. "Don't shut me out." Edo-Lazarus He watched them all go inside. "Think about it Jamie!" He shouted. "You know I'm right. Don't be foolish. Please. For the sake of Edolas!" That was the last thing he said before turning on the spot. He had to get enough time to talk to his counterpart alone. He couldn't exactly go anywhere until Pen came back with the legion, so he jumped into a tree, lay back on one of the wider branches, and relaxed. He might as well wait hidden for his counterpart to come outside again.

Sasha wasn't surprised at the knock, wasn't surprised that it was Lazarus, even if she didn't want to talk to anyone, to see anyone. She looked away, sighing softly, and not speaking for a moment or two. "you don't know him, Lazarus. You're belief could get us in utter trouble. Do you think I don't want biebe Penny's counter part here's even if he is a man? I do. But I can't, because things are different here. We can't just blindly accept things." she gave a shrug, still not looking to Lazarus, as if afraid at what she would see. Edo-sasha wasn't too sure how to react to be slapped by herself. It was oddly insulting, and something she didn't want to repeat. she frowned, looking at her empty glass. And then seemed slightly taken aback by Edo-Karn kissing her slapped check. Not that it was odd behavior. It just seemed...tender. She nodded at Edo-trinity's words, and managed to chuckle slowly as she touched a finger to her chest, just on her mark, and her heart. "you just wanted to cop a feel" she said, her tone slightly amused. She took the offered drink and a sip before handing it back, smiling. "if you wish to look into my eyes, they're up here" she said, mirth filling her voice, and laughing. Which most likely caused her chest to rise, fall and shake with the movement. As if as an after thought, she ran her fingers over her cheek, which was tender and her fingers caused if to sting. "jeez, you wouldn't expect someone so mousy and prudish to have such a good slap" Pen just made it outside when edo-maddox appeared, and at the scene he created. While Pen had expected something like this to happen, it was very annoying to have it happen. As he rose on Lazarus's Legion, Pen let his voice rise and carry. "do not be fooled by his fancy tricks and threats! The king is in control, as always! This man has no power, compared to the king, compared to the queen! Compared to what I shall bring the king! His threats are just that! Threats!" pen roared this small speech out, and took the lacrima out his pocket, the one he had had in there since the scientist had brought it to him. It was light, but seemed...to be filled with a clear get dense gas. As Pen crushed it in a hand, it did not cut his skin. Flames, black danced out and shot towards Edo-Maddox and his legion. Too far away to reach, but all Pen needed was the demonstration. "i bring the King power!we shall stand, if you follow me, we shall protect Edolas!" how easy it was to manipulate people, as cheers rose. How easy it was to get what you wanted, without anyone knowing. How fun. How easy to lie, and be believed when you were in a position of power. How easy to reach for more power. Pen rose on the legion, and Angeles back to fly towards Edolas's Phoenix Wing, towards the source of the magical leakage. "Karn just had a fall, but If he is up to it, then we can ask him. Jeez, this damn building wasn't constructed well. I'm surrpised a good wind didn't knock it down before" she shook her head, "ask Karn if he will help. I'll continue to search for Sayuri and any others here. I hope all the attendants are out" that was all they needed, to have them there too. "our jarvis. I imagine there are some secrets our Earthland counterparts wish kept secret even from us, after all" When both Mayat and Karn had agreed to follow him, and Edo-Karn had opened up the basement, edo-master jamie headed downstairs. It was dark, so edo-jamie lit a torch, continuing. Beneath the guild was a Lacrima, large, almost taking up the space between the roof and the floor. "this is a lacrima left from log ago. But that's not why we are here, although to store the magic would be a good thing, especially for the earth landers. As they know how to use it, and can be beneficial in helping us stop the three groups. We need a way of getting the earth landers back as well. And sealing the rip between our two worlds. I will think of that. You are aware that we were founded by myself and Jarvis. However, we were given that idea from someone else. We have been charged of protecting, quite effectively, King jellal's great-granddaughter. You are aware that the Kings grandson was de-throned by the current King, his advisor. Ironic, isn't it, that the current King might be de throned by his advisor. The rightful queen has been with us for 15 years. Many thought she was lost. Which is not the case" moving around the lacrima, Edo-jamie pushed part of the wall, and it opened under her touch, and looked to the others, waiting for their reactions. Edo jarvis by his side shifted, standing in front of the hole in the wall. The statement from Vincent didn't shock Madter Jamke. She smiled, and nodded, looking to Damian "do you find it curious that we now have two god slayers in the guild? A change is coming. There's been whispers of a dragon too" he looked to rutger and Vincent, smiling "shall we get you your guild marks then?"

Rolling their eyes at the two's antics, Edo-Karn glanced to Edo-Ben. "I change my mind. Ben your in charge. Make sure they don't get too out of control." they said before following the Guild Master down into the basement. As they walked in, Edo-Karn looked to the Lacrima for a moment before looking to the Guild Master as it was explained what they must do with it. As well as the little secret with the girl, in which Edo-Karn slightly frowned thoughtfully. Seeming to ponder the proper response. "Eleven years here and I don't get any word. Such cruelty GM." Edo-Karn said, but didn't sound mad or upset at all but gave a soft hum. "Are you thinking now is the time for our little princess to step up to the throne? It's risky, since you know if any of those three obnoxious power heads find out, they won't hesitate to try and eliminate her." Edo-Karn said with slight concern. Although it was a card that may be very well be neccessary to play at this dangerous point in time, that didn't stop the blonde from worrying over anyone in the Guild.

Sayuri

She followed Wes to a control room, checking to see if he was behind them. Looking around as they enter it looked rather normal. She looked at all the screens noticing many were static. She notices her dad running with Maddox, "Yes I am extremely curious about what's going on but now probably isn't the time to talk a whole lot. I wanna know as much as I can but I can also help fighting so If I know the plan that will help," she rests her sword on her shoulder and leans agains the wall.

Masahiko

He laughs, "Not give us time you say? That's funny. Yes you are powerful but the entire council couldn't defeat him. He is an extremely powerful shadow mage that seems to be immune to almost all physical and magical damage. The only thing that we've seen that effects him is light magic. So for now our best bet-" suddenly he heard Wes' voice saying he was able to activate their just in case and smiles, "Just got a whole lot better. We need to hurry. Wes can you direct me to where he is?"

Edolas Sayuri

She scoffed at Pen as he climbed up and flew off not expecting him to hear her, "This world doesn't need magic of any kind," she watches as he flies off and turns to look at Lazarus, "Well you seem to be enjoying yourself hanging with a traitor. Either way I'm not here about that. I'll cya later," turning she walks into the Guildhall and looks around, "Is the Guildmaster here? I have something I would like to ask about."

Mayat smirked a little, and continue to walk with Master Jamie. Not seeming fased by the lacrima. "The biggest problem I'm seeing is proving she's his grand daughter. On top of the three teams of lying murderers trying to murder each other for power." She shrugged, placing one hand on her weapon in a non-threatening way. "Letting them beat the snot out of each other would be a great idea, beyond that, who's Jallal's Granddaughter? Or are you going to play the pronoun game so that if we're captured and interrogated we can't say who?" She smirked a bit at the idea, then shook her head. "If you were afraid of that you wouldn't of told us we have his granddaughter. So I'd love to see these beans spilled." She looked at Master Jamie with a bit of an excited twinkle in her eye. King Jallal was a legend, he head defeated the demon that had sapped Edolas of its magic and brought the kingdom together in the turmoil afterwards, along side Fairy Tail. Mayt made his way quickly through the building, looking for Karn. He managed to avoid a few falling rocks, and eventually found himself outside, where Karn, Trinity, and the others were. "Hey Karn! I have a task for you!" He looked up, and spotted Mithera in the sky, high enough for normal bows not to reach her, but low enough it was clear she could land anywhere anytime she needed to. Nodding to himself, he jogged over to Karn, wincing a little when he came to a quick stop, putting a hand lightly on his belly. "I need you to find Melina and keep an eye on her, if she's outside, keep her outside if possible. You look a bit... Tossed around to go back inside in the state this building is in, and so I don't want you fighting Melina to keep her outside if it comes to that, okay? I'm going back in to find uh... Sayuri I think her name is, with Penny. Can you do that for me?"

[Damian] "Two god slayers, eh?" Damian couldn't base what he thought of either one off of that lightning one, but still, he was suspicious. "And rumors of Dragon Slayers returning to the world? Perhaps magic is returning to what it was before Zerrif and the previous Dragon Slayers attacked the world." He returned his attention to the damage and took a moment to shake his head. "Drill magic did a lot of the damage, based on the way the tables and chairs are trashed. Probably a bounty hunter of some kind. Couldn't have just let things be though..." Sighing loudly, he goes behind the bar and rummages around a bit before pulling out a bottle of gin and a glass and pouring himself a drink. "Well, in either case, Vincent, Rutger, welcome to Phoenix Wing. I'm Damian "Blades" Gerard, the Blade of Phoenix Wing and one of three S Class wizards." Taking a sip, he chuckles to himself. "Oh, and don't mind my drinking. It's rare and today was a LONG day..."

Edolas Master Jamie smiled and said rather sadly "we did what we had to to protect her identity, and to keep her safe. Her father requested it of us, before it all began. She was but a child when she came to us, and so we agreed. She's 20 now. And all except the blue hair she is the spitting image of her great-grandmother. There will be no doubt that she is of Jellal's blood" so saying, With Edo-jarvis following her, he turned into the hole. Light could be seen ahead, and as they walked for less then a minute, they came into a large room. Split into three, it had a kitchen and living area, a bathroom and a bedroom. A dog came up, gave a half hearted growl, and then set about pawing at Edo-Jamies legs. Stairs could be seen leading to the roof, a trap door evident. "jamie? Jarvis? Is that you?" a beautiful young girl, her blue hair tied back in a pony tail, markings on her face similar to Jellal's appeared. She seemed taken aback by Mayat and Karn, then looked to Jamie."it's time then? I'm to claim back my families throne?" Jamie nodded, and the woman let out a slow breath. She turned to Mayat and Karn and said, in quite the regale voice "then allow me To introduce myself. I am princess Liana." As Mayt went of, penny continued, searching for Sayuri or any sign. She went up the path that Karn had said he had seen Sayuri, looking about, dodging any more debris as well as making sure that there was no one else around. Something else was going on here, and it made Penny uneasy

Joshua watched event play out in the guildhall with passive interest. The only thing that concerned him was when Sasha got more then a little upset, even slapping her Edolas counterpart before heading upstairs. Lazarus followed her shortly after and Joshua in turn followed them, though he stayed out for a bit to let the two have their privacy. If things got heated in there, he wouldn't hesitate to break it up. OR just add his two cents, whichever was needed at the time Amelia listened to Jarvis, looking up at him out of the corner of her eyes. The red orbs stared at him unwaveringly. When she saw him watching something she quickly spotted a girl even younger then her who simply got a glass of water before retreating to the upper levels of the guild. "Mr. Jarvis... did you ever lose someone important to you?" She asked suddenly. Jarvis seemed to be thinking about something when he spoke to her. Not only that but his eyes had followed the girl, as if recognizing her. Was there a possible connection?

Karn blinked before glancing away from Jayce to see Mayt moving to him. The blonde happily chirped up, though slightly wobbled as he turned a bit too fast. The blows he took moments before as a beast effecting him quite a bit now as his weaker human form. However, Karn tried roughing it through and smiled brightly to the Phoenix Wing Member. "Hi Mayty! Good to see you standing." the small boy chirped happily before blinking as Mayt explained a new task for Karn to find Melina. Explaining to watch her and try to keep her out of the building. He felt dizzy, and his chest felt tight again... Blood welling up in his throat, wanting to force the body to cough it up but instead Karn casually swallowed it back down and smiled cheerfully. "Yeah, no problem! Leave it to me! You just take care in there!" Karn said cheerfully before turning to Jayce and happily smiling up at him. "I'll see you later Techy, stay safe too okay?" Karn cheered. Soon his body switched back to his Chimera form and started bounding away, his nose lifted in the air as he quickly tried tracking down Melina. His large paw steps a bit more wobbly now, but he forced himself to focus and stay in form. Not too long, he spotted Melina reading a book and he transformed back as a human and bounded over to the blood wizard. "Hi Vampy!" he cheered, waving happily. Edo-Karn glanced to Edo-Mayt at the reasonable question then to the Guild Master as it was explained that they agreed to protect this princess. Nodding slowly in understanding, the blonde said no more on the matter. Until they entered a large room split into three. A place for someone to live and hide for years it seems. It was then a blue haired girl, around Edo-Karn's age it looked like came out and spoke to the Edo-Jamie and Edo-Jarvis. She then introduced herself as Princess Liana, in a regal tone. It was at this point, Edo-Karn's emerald eyes grew sharp, narrowing ever so slightly as they looked the princess over. Examining her... Studying this new Power piece in this game for thrones. Crossing their arms over their chest, the short blonde stepped closer until they were just two feet apart, almost if sizing up this blue haired woman. The narrowed look never moving for a good few heartbeats, before suddenly relaxing and dropped the arms to their sides. Dropping to one knee as they kneeled before the princess. The left arm resting behind their back while the right was crossed over their chest, hand resting against where their heart should be. "It is a honor to finally make your aquientance, Your Highness. I, Karn Rowan of Phoenix Wing, is here to serve." They said with a slightly bowed head.

"Really? Just like that?" Rutger said, when Jamie asked them about the guild mark and Damien seemed happy to accept them both. So much to take in--they had another God Slayer in this guild? They were willing to accept him? Moreover, they were willing to accept Vincent, after everything he'd just confessed to? "There's...there's no test? You don't even want me to demonstrate anything?" He had thought that there would at least be some sort of paperwork. Did this guild really just take in anyone? "I mean, I'm very thankful that you're willing to accept me...and while I don't really approve of letting an assassin in, I trust you've made that decision with something in mind...but I'm just a little surprised, I guess. Finding out that there's another god slayer here as well...geez..." He rubbed his head and looked down at the floor, before sighing. "But I suppose I shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth. If you're still willing, Master, I guess I'd like the Guild's mark on my right forearm." He pulled off his leather glove and pushed the sleeve of his black shirt up to his elbow, exposing the pale flesh of his arm. Being up in the snowy mountains all one's life meant not getting a lot of sun, unfortunately.

[Damian] At the mention of an assassin joining the guild, Damian chuckles. Mayat chuckled when Karn bowed down to her. "I'm sorry, but the only person I'd bow down to like that is your grandfather, who you are not. No offence of course, but I was never the get on one knee and swear my fealty type." She went over, and just did a normal bow, arm across her stomach and he arm to the side. "Though, I am honored to be your acquaintance, lady Liana. I am Mayat, of Phoenix Wing." She came up from the bow slowly, looking at the younger girl. "I guess I get to be one of the privileged few who get to know you exist. Wonderful." She cross her arms and looked her over again, as if just double checking. "I feel bad for you, you'll always live in your grandfather's shadow. That is, unless, you do something amazing yourself. That of which, I have no doubt you're capable of." She smiled at the princess, surprisingly nonchalant about the whole thing, but anyone who's known her long enough could easily read on her face she's elated to meet someone related to Jellal. Mayt frowned a bit, noting he had underestimated how injured Karn was. He winced a little as the over-enthused shapeshifter went off on his task. "I hope to any deity above she doesn't hurt him. Be careful Karn." He murmured to himself, and sighed, turning and starting to job back towards the Council Building without a glance at anyone else. He moved quickly, trying to find Penny, he had seen where she had started to go towards and had every intention of either finding her, or the people she was looking for, knowing if he got there first she wouldn't be far behind. Melina looked up as someone said 'Vampy', and smiled as she saw the wobbling shapeshifter. "Steady there, you'll fall over and hit your head, again." She closed the book, and moved over to Karn. "Vampy, a cute name but I'd actually prefer not to be called that. I'm not technically a vampire, as I don't have to ingest blood to survive or restore my magic power, but I appreciate the sentiment." She looked him over, and it was clear he'd been through his own personal hell. "Why don't we sit down, Karn? So that I don't have to worry so much about you passing out suddenly." She smiled a bit, sitting down and offering her hand to help him down some as well. "Mithera would hate to see you die. At least that's what she told me."

Edolas-master Jamie watched as Karn practically studied Liana, as if looking for any sign of falsehood. As if Jamie had painted the girl and modeled her to be the great granddaughter of the greatest King Edolas had ever seen. To her credit, Liana just stared back at Karn, unblinking, and maintaining that regal pose. But as Karn practically bowed to her, Liana blushed, and said "please. Until I get the throne back, I'm just like you. No need to treat me any different for the blood that runs in my veins" edo-master Jamie nodded, pleased. If Liana was like this when they brought her to Edolas's attention, she was sure the people would lap her up, and be charging to get Liana her rightful throne. Liana smiled at Mayat. And there you could see the glint of something wicked, but not evil, quick and witty. Charming. "oh, I plan to cast my own shadow, just as long, if not longer, then King Jellal's. I plan on bringing Edolas into a new age. There's so much we can do, that when it comes to it, it can be a magic all in its own. But first, the throne." Edo-jamie nodded "first comes getting the magic that is leaking into Edolas, and keeping it from those that will use it for harm. Using it to fix the rent, and to get the earth landers home. We shall keep you hidden just a little longer, Liana. All right, we shall go get the Lacrima" he said to Mayat, Karn and Jarvis. Master Jamie jolted slightly, the tid-bit of information on the fact that Damian had been a child killer was new to her. He knew that Damian had been the child of the royal army commander.Jamie wondered why he hadn't come across that information. Best not to react yet. "I know what happened here, Damian. But I shall not expose what, just yet. Especially when the person responsible is unaware of it, most likely." Jamie smiled in an easy mannor, and looked to Vincent. "the thing you will find with Phoenix Wing is, we all come with baggage. And yet, we still care for one another. We still help one another. We all have a histroy. It's important. We accept those here who come to us, and that is all the test we need. Something drew you here. And that's all there is to it." She looked around the guild hall, and said Although, if you wouldn't mind cleaning this up, that can be a test. We've all done it at one time or another in anycase. Family will fight after all." another smile, soft, and clearly caring. Jarvis winced at the question, and gave a sigh, looking at Amelia. He wasn't tok sure how to answer. With a lie, or truth. Or a mixture of both. It would have to be that option, then. "I lost my daughter. I did all I could, and yet part of me wonders if there was more I could have done. People never stop to consider that a man who loses his child is perhaps sadder then a child who loses their parents. A parent is meant to protect their children. A child is just...meant to be" he gave a sigh, "it was a long time ago now." he gave a shrug, and rose, offering his hand to Amelia, are you hungry?" he asked, as someone entered the guild. Sayuri. Edolas version, he assumed. "Yes, in the guild somewhere. I imagine they will be back soon" Penny was sure she was getting close, and she stopped, knowing she wasn't in the best condition to fight. And that might be necessary, as she felt something wrong here. Something was going to happen. She heard Mayts footsteps, and she looked back, deciding to waits to save her magical energy, what little there was left, she shifted out of her Phoenix form, the flames dying away. Pen didn't go back to Phoenix Wing. Not just yet. He had to maintain the act that he was searching for someone who had stolen the lacrima. It amused Pen that he was searching for himself. He expanded his search, going further and further from the castle, until he could leave without it being suspicious. Pen didn't return to the guild though, and instead, he went to explore for the magic, controlling the Legion with ease.

Phoenix Wing Guild Hall Vincent couldn't help but close his eyes and smile a little. It seemed like he had made it into the Guild, and surprisingly, he was happy about it. Though he doubted he would be very chummy with anyone, he had to at least try...right?" Vincent glanced over at Rutger, and smirked, putting his hands in his pockets. "You know Rutger, being an Assassin has it perks. Like having information brokers all over the city with information about anything. I have contacts, if they know something what happened here, they'd tell me." He glanced up over at Damian next. "A child solider eh? Are here I thought I had it rough as a kid. I think you and I will get along great." He chuckled, looking around, before finally turning lastly to Jamie. "Thank you....for this chance. I've never been a Guild, never even wanted to. Hell, I surprised myself by asking to join." As Vincent began to replace the overturned tables, he thought about where he would get the symbol of Phoenix Wing. He wasn't sure where he wanted it, but it had to have meaning...he was still coming to terms with the fact that he was now part of a Guild.
